Not sure why the reviews are so poor. Went there tonight with a friend. We had white cheddar mushrooms for an appetizer - it was very good. The salad was also good. I had the filet and it was awesome - cooked correctly, great flavor, tender and a very generous size. My side was the crispy brussel sprouts which were also very good. We got seated fairly quickly (less than 5 minutes which was great for a Friday night at 7pm) - they were fairly busy and most if not all the table were occupied. The wait staff was knowledgeable and very friendly as well as attentive. Very good experience - Ill be back. I noticed people complaining about the overly salted food - the steak was very well seasoned and had a bit of a salty flavor but I did not feel it was overly salty nor was it unedible. The steak was actually excellent - as good as any steak I have had at a similar quality restaurant.

Chain steakhouse in Denton. Had the shrimp/ lobster chowder. It was excellent! Ordered the rib-eye & filet. Both good- not great. Felt they should have had more seasoning/ flavor. The sweet potato with cinnamon sugar. That was really good. Salads were fine. Reasonable prices for steaks. Waiter very quiet.

I have been excited about eating here since they started building. My boyfriend and I finally went and couldn t have had a better experience. I have been in the fine dining and people business for a long time , to see such a new store have such an amazingly attentive team was phenomenal. When we walked in there was 2 - 10 tops and they were being nasty to the hosts , despite this they handled the situation with ease. We were greeted by miss beige she was kind and conversed with us while we walked to the table . Miss Abby was our server and she did an amazing job , she was patient, extremely knowledgeable about her menu , made excellent recommendations, and made our date night one for the books. I asked to speak with the manager, Aaron came over to our table quickly and I told him how much I adore the restaurant and his entire team. I work right up the road and will be catering with them and using them for all of my events! Please give this place a try and ask for Miss Abby , I promise you won t be disappointed.

The customer service was good, but the food was not. It s a steak restaurant, but the bread and wings were better. How was the bread better than the steak? That s insane. The steak had no flavor and half of it was fat. I had to add sauce to give it flavor and I was provided with an almost empty bottle of sauce. A steak restaurant that can t make steak. The vegetables also needed more salt. Will not go back.

We brought in a party of ten and I asked for a wait time. I was told I couldn t be quoted a wait time until everyone in our party was present. I explained that one person is disabled and is in the car. I needed to know the wait time before having him try to come in. The hostess still refused. It s ridiculous and unacceptable to not be given a wait time when asked.

Pretty great experience with Skyler (Sky?) at the bar on 08/31 . This was a great place to grab dinner while charging my EV at the nearby supercharger. Ribeye came out quickly after ordering, Sky gave great customer service at the bar. In and out in 40 minutes and the steak was tasty and pretty good value for the price I paid. Overall, Id eat here again and would recommend it.

I went in longhorn steak house for lunch. I have been in many longhorn steak houses in many different cities and have enjoyed their food except for this one. I ordered the ribeye , the steak was one of the tuffest i have every had from a longhorn. There was very little taste to the steak , my fries were not very warm some were cold . A very bad experience at best . I also seen that they charge extra if you want a salad . I wil go to saltgrass next time I want a steak . They are charcoaled , have amazing taste. A soup or salad comes with the meal fries are double fries and very flavorful. The only reason i gave me them two stars is for the waiter

I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and streamed broccoli. My chicken fried steak was bloody raw under the fried coating. My broccoli was half steamed, part cold and crunchy. My mashed potatoes were also cold. I think the whole meal was rushed. My meal was replaced with fresh food but my dinner guests had finished eating so I felt like I didnt have time to eat it so I boxed it up and took it home. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. Probably wont go back.

By far, the worst ribeye I ever had in my life VERY tough and thin. You only get 1 side, unless you count the bowl of leave they force on you. Mashed potatoes and gravy were just pathetic. They put lemon juice on your steak so you cannot tell that the meat has long been expired. It did not even look like ribeye. It was grey. I dont even think it was beef. I have never seen beef ribeye that looks like that. And to top it off, it was REALLY expensive. We paid the same here as we would have at the place across they street. We only got 2 dinners and 2 ice waters. Across the street we would have gotten 2 sides and a margarita and much better food for the same price. Yeah, we got the long horn alright. Right up the butt. Service was very good, though. Hence, the 2 stars.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your restaurant on 7/31/24. I came in for lunch with a colleague and had a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, we were promptly shown to a booth by the waitress. I requested a table instead, and she spoke to a lady whom I assume is the manager. The manager asked us to wait, despite there being six unoccupied tables and the restaurant having fewer than 20 patrons at the time. We waited for a considerable amount of time without being attended to, while other customers who arrived after us were promptly seated. When I inquired about the delay, the manager gave us a condescending look and told us we had to wait for someone, without offering any further explanation. This treatment felt disrespectful and unprofessional. If the restaurant was short-staffed, we should have been informed rather than being made to wait indefinitely. The fact that we could have been seated in a booth but not at a table was also perplexing and frustrating. Ultimately, we decided to leave and find another place to have lunch. I believe the black lady at the front desk during this afternoon could greatly benefit from training in customer service and manners. Clear communication and courtesy go a long way in ensuring a positive dining experience. I hope that you will address this issue to prevent similar experiences for other customers in the future. The service was great. The sides were great. The chicken fried chicken was so salty. We sent it back. The manager offered us a replacement of Parmesan Crusted Chicken. It had more salt than the Chicken Fried Chicken. Sent it back without anything else offered. The manager assured us that his staff does not season the food and if they add anything that would be able to see it on our food. I dont see a need to return for food that is inedible. If what management told us was true about the food being pre seasoning. I dont see a need to visit any LongHorn Steakhouse. When I say salty I am talking SALTY!

Up to today I am surprised and will never go to that place again. I went for dinner and forgot a light on and when I came back my battery was out. As someone who had spent and dined I went for help and the manager refused to assist. All she could say is am sorry I cant help you. Really a customer , she was willing to break the relationship I had. All she could have done is offer to call 911 and simply say police is coming out there to assist. Fortunately enough one dinner may God bless him saw me and came to assist. I know people will say its not the restaurants duty to help you outside the restaurant but a good restaurant will help you. Go to Walmart today even if you dont buy anything they will come to your assistance. I have seen people at roadhouse being assisted with the same battery problem. The owner must teach his manager to create a rappoture with diners. They have lost me and the 40 people coming for a birthday party and i will say this i live in denton and i will drive to plano longhorn for my birthday and drive past the denton longhorn simply because they dont give a damn about customers. Screw this place. I placed a curbside order with instructions that a co-worker would be picking it up. They did not give her my food. I show up and check in. 5 minutes pass and a truck pulls up next to me. His food was brought out immediately. The employee asked if my name was my co-worker s name and I explained to them that they refused to give her my order and that I had checked in before the gentleman next to me who received his food immediately. It was 10 minutes before my food was brought to me from the time I checked in. The employee was incredibly kind and sweet, but that doesn t excuse the poor service- ESPECIALLY when they charge as much as they do for a meal and it s not even that great. Save yourself some cash and go to Applebees SERIOUSLY. Calling this place a steakhouse is a joke. First time eating at a Longhorn Steakhouse and it will be the last.

1. Abby (Abigail) was probably one of the best servers Ive ever had in my life. Very attentive and nice, always went above and beyond. 2. Food was excellent. Had the Outlaw Ribeye which my wife liked so much she took it from me and I had her T-Bone whoch was really good. The wings were probably ly the best wings Ive had outside of a wing restaurant. The dry rub on it was great by itself but the Buffalo amd vleu cheese were both good too. Everyone was really nice. We had to wait 30 mo uses but it was definitely worth it.

The tables were mostly empty, there seemed to be ample staffing but none of them seemed to care ww were obviously disappointed. Got here at 330. Was told they are doing a shift change and it would be 30 min to get a table. Last time I looked at my watch was 330... Now I am sitting here waiting for a refill and another bread. He just took the order and now it is 454. An hour and half and my table has had 1 drink and slice of 1 loaf of bread and now we are sitting here waiting. Our guy has 1 speed. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon probably around 2:00 so it wasnt too busy , but they were short staffed so we had to wait I would say at least 10 minutes to be seated. My husband and I were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary. So another patron of the restaurant makes a comment as we were walking by saying I always like to see dads take their daughters out to eat? Well first of all my husband is only 5 years older he is not Bill Billacheck (whatever his name is) old. So thats why I rated 4 stars on atmosphere, because I should be able to enjoy my date out with my husband without being insulted. My husband was not offended but I was...eat your food mind your business and leave me and mines alone Besides that we enjoyed our meal and I loved my complimentary dessert that I had received from our first visit there back in March, when the restaurant opened. I will come back definitely for the cheesecake dessert.

So we waited 40 minutes when we were told it was a 30-45 minute wait. Not a bad start. People were nice and very friendly. Sat down at a booth way to small for a 67 large gentleman such as my husband. Okay. Ordered our drink and it took a while for the alcohol, but the lemonade was cold and not to sweet! Love that... we orders the fried onions and it was mostly breading, chewy/rubbery not crunchy... asked for bread after asking twice they finally brang us a loaf. You would think a steak house would know what the difference between blue, rare, med rare and medium consists of but please do not expect that here... Requested a rare burger and the server acted like I didnt know what I was asking. The manger came over and told me they dont do rare or med rare. I said okay. The burger was super thin (not what you expect at a steak house) and a really light pink almost well done. The bun was rubbery and crunchy. My husband asked for his steak to be rare and it was medium well. Our friend asked for loaded baked potatoe with no sour cream. He got a loaded baked potato with no green onions, Lots of sour cream. We asked for a second loaf of bread and drinks before the meal came, second loaf of bread never made it to the table and the drink showed up after the meal was over. Over all the good SUCKS for the price.

The managers here are great. The food is also good. The service not so much. Second time Im a row I came in to see an incredibly messy bar, empty glasses, finished plates, and no bartender in sight. It was an incredibly slow day so it really speaks volumes about the pride taken in the bar. There was also no host. I just left. Again, Ive had good experiences here, but it is hit and miss. At the end of the day I go to a restaurant to sit at the bar and this is one of the worst maintained bars in Denton from my experience. Hopefully Saltgrass will do better.

Very disappointed in our service and food this visit. Our service started out good and we put in our order quickly and got our drinks in a timely manner. Our food came before our salads, and only after we asked for them. The dressing was wrong on one of them. My steak was rare when I ordered medium, my husbands steak was well done and he ordered medium as well. His steak was tough and extremely salty. Our server never came by to ask how our meals were even though she walked past our table several times.

Let me start off with . My family & I went to Longhorn steak house tonight & we had the most amazing time . What made our visit the most memorable was our server Kylie!!!! We never had to wait on anything, she had the most amazingly beautiful customer service that we have ever experienced in a VERY long time! She always had a smile on her face & she spoke to us like she had known us for a really long time! We will DEFINITELY be returning & hopefully we will receive the same service. Well me and my wife normally have been going to Texas Roadhouse we live in Lewisville. I saw that there were building a Texas longhorn steak house in Denton. So we decided to go check the place out. Robin was a great server. We thoroughly enjoyed her service. The food was tasty, but very very salty. My husband, son, and I went to eat dinner here and were waiting to reserve a table while the hostess just kept answering phones (I get it, but when people are in front of you the phone calls are secondary). She seemed frustrated and overwhelmed, which was apparent in her customer interactions. We asked if we could sit at a high top at the bar and she said they weren t available, so we waited which was no problem. We decided to leave and not even eat there when a family came in and the manager turned them away saying their party was too big for the restaurant to accommodate their party was no larger than 10 people and the restaurant had mostly empty tables. If just getting a table is so difficult when the place is empty, I did not want to chance the whole experience especially when management contributes to the bad experience. We ll just skip this place.

This establishment is a joke. We came when they were newer and had over an hour wait and the service was not the best. We gave them grace as they were new. The food was amazing but the customer service is a reason I will eat at another Longhorn. We wanted to bring my MIL to a birthday dinner and tried to book a reservation online and it s a party of 7 so it says to call the restaurant. We called and they can t give you a reservation or table unless it s done in person. They said it s because they can give more of an accurate wait time and they can seat more people??? New location in Denton TX. It all started when the manager would now allow more then 10 people to set together, even though the place was not even half full. The next issue we had is our order when we asked for well cook and got medium well. The third issue is they did not bring out all of my order at the same time. To top it off, we were the sitting at the bar because the manager would not let us sit with the other 10 people from the graduation group when there was clearly tables and space. Over all, I think they need more training. Also, they were out of Ribs. :-) Parking: No problem parking at all.

Food was great! Robin was our server and we were completely rushed the entire time. She took 10 minutes to greet us, and when she did she immediately pressured us to order our meal. She brought us waters instead of the sodas we ordered 10 minutes later and took ever longer to bring us the sodas. Right after we got our food she immediately pressured us about the check, which she brought even though we said we were good and before we were done despite wanting dessert and needing a separate check. This place needs at least 6 more months to figure itself out. The worst thing on the menu was the steak. We ordered a ribeye medium rare and a filet medium well. They got the cook temps switched so they needed to recook them. It took about 25 minutes to get our steaks BACK. Our kids were miserable because it took over 15 minutes to put our order in, 25 minutes to get our food the first time and then the recook on top. When my ribeye came back there was less than 6oz edible because it was so fatty and gritty. I wish I had just choked down the first one and left. Lobster tail, Mac and cheese, and salads were good otherwise. As a steakhouse, the management needs to do better.

Visited on Sunday 5/19/24 from 12:45 to about 2:10. I took my wife here who LOVES steak. We were excited to try the new place and have never been. The hostess was excellent. Super friendly and asked us if we had ever been. She was a ray of sunshine. Seriously. So far, we are liking it. We order the Outlaw Ribeye . One order because we have learned it is much less wasteful to split, BUT we did order extra sides, because basically we just wanted to split the steak. I wanted to like our waitress, but she would disappear for lengthy periods of time, but she was able to tend to us fairly well. However, when the steaks were brought out, it was the awesome hostess. She was the best part of our visit and I wish I could remember her name. We ordered the brisket queso, which was super tasty, but the chips half of them were chewy, soggy, or stale. We also ran out of chips, but used bread we got for the rest. Back to the arrival of the steaks and sides. We got our salads, my Caesar was meh, but ok. I didn t come for the salads anyway. When the steak came, that was the end of the sunshine. The hostess left us smiling and then I cut into the steak. To be fair, my wife ordered medium and then we switched it to medium rare. The waitress showed her how it should look when we ordered. However, this steak was b.l.o.o.d.y. Ok, no problem, we will send it back for a couple of minutes. Where is our waitress? Finally my wife gets the attention of someone else to find her. Another guy comes a couple minutes later and says he will take care of it for us. We eat the rest of our salad. Then I ate my sweet potato which was very good, and my wife finished her baked potato. And we waited and waited. We are patient and at a couple of times the waitress came by to tell us they were taking care of our steak. Well, finally after about 15 minutes or so AFTER we ate all of our sides and queso, ANOTHER guy comes with the steak and another baked potato. It threw me off a little bit and I took a minute to process what he was saying. He asked me to cut into the steak to see if it was ok. I was for some reason stunned by the new potato, and said so. His response was We like our presentation to look right when we serve our steaks. That s not verbatim, but something similar. So I cut into the steak, which seemed considerably thinner, but my head was swimming for some reason. I cut into the steak, it was WELL DONE. At this point, we had just the steak left because we had eaten the sides, so we tried eating the steak only to find it was completely TASTELESS. I ordered Tabasco and that didn t help. My wife, who LOVES steak remember? She usually can find a redeeming quality for any excuse to eat steak. She told me she couldn t do it and it was tasteless. I ate two bites, she ate maybe 3 and we got a to-go box for our dogs to enjoy a $30 steak. To top it off, we get our receipt for $90!!!! We split a steak meal, got two sides and an appetizer. So, I look twice and see we were charged twice for steaks. So, once again we had to search for the mostly absentee waitress. I do want to say, she was there for refills and to check on us, but the disappearing act would happen at the most inconvenient times. Anyway, she apologized and rectified and we walked out spending a little over $66 with a reluctant tip. To the guy who thinks presentation is important. I guess it is, but that extra potato didn t make up for the poor experience and lack of taste in your steaks. No manager came by to ask how things were, nor did management apologize. Never saw a manager for that matter. We aren t looking for free food, just tasty with a good experience. Your only bright star is your hostess, so she gets your one star. No one deserves the other 4. If you like steaks, this isn t the place to go. I mean if you like flavor and good services, try somewhere else. We were disappointed. My wife and I eat out a good 5 days a week. We were excited to try the Denton restaurant last night. We were very disappointed. Service was terrible. Ordered 2 beers. They brought to table after about 10 minutes at least. It was a Shiner when asked for Coors Light. Was taken back to replace. We had eaten bread, salad and waited for a good 15 minutes and no replacement beer. Manager came over and comp the appetizer and brought the beer finally. Meal came. Sides were very weak. Her steak was very small and my chicken and shrimp was so-so. I left to large pieces of chicken. I always take home. We had maybe 2 more drinks of beer in our glass. Asked for 2 more and were told they couldnt until we had finished ours. Doesnt make any sense. It takes 20 minutes to get a beer. So why would we wait until ours was completely gone? Weve never had an issue with getting another beer anywhere but here. With Texas Roadhouse across the street this place doesnt come close to service or food quality. Good luck folks. We will not be back. Will spend our money elsewhere for sure.

We ordered for pickup. I had eaten at the location in Jacksonville, Florida and bragged to everyone about the food and the excellent job of organizing the menu like the combo selections. When a location finally opened here in Corinth reach I was so excited. I wanted the same dinner I had in Jacksonville- the steak and Chicken patty - that was not on the combo choices but the receptionist said they could get that made into a combo. The rest of the family went with the Rib Dinners I ordered the baked potato with the works and Macaroni to finish my dinner. . The food was prepared in a quick fashion and we went home excited. As we unloaded the bags the first thing we noted was one loaf of bread for 3 orders. I would have thought more for $123 Next my dinner was pulled from the bag - a what looked like 1/2 ice cream scoop of Mashed Potatoes I had ordered the Baked Potato - I was really left with no words at this. I tasted the Chicken and have never tasted so much salt on anything before - next macaroni- same issue. The salt was even. Stronger on these . The Steak was really good but the rest of the meal went in the trash. The family ate the Ribs and said they were really good but the rest of their meals went in the fridge where they seem to have made a home. The meal was just sad to say the least. The mix up on the potato and the excess salt ruined it.To be fair the meal in Jacksonville was the best meal I have ever had and my friend who ordered the filet and Lobster Tail said the same . Your staff couldnt seat us all together because your restaurant was brand new...and it would have required 2 servers and you would have had to move some tables. We went to Olive Garden instead. We had some kind of shrimp appetizer that was delicious. Then my steak came out. I ordered the 6oz Flos Filet medium I was extremely disappointed in the cook of my steak. There was no crispy sear on the outside like it showed on the menu. I entrie steak was gray in color. I got a Togo box and fed it to my dogs when I got home. The server asked if I wanted them to recook my steak but I needed to leave so whatever. The server/bartender was absolutely amazing. She was attentive and helpful. The kitchen needs some help though. Welcome to Denton, TX Longhorn! This place was worth the anxious wait. The staff and customer service is excellent from the moment you walk into the door. The food is amazing. The ambiance is relaxing and appropriate for all social gatherings. The only unfortunate thing about my experience is I never remember to take a picture of my delicious food. The presentation matches its flavor. Their food is absolutely wonderful. My server today was Paige. She is very professional, knowledgeable and a delight to have as server. We speak the same food language so she knew exactly what to recommend which was the Outlaw Ribeye cooked medium-rare covered with grilled onions and mushrooms served with a side of parmesan-crusted asparagus. I was in heaven on earth. I have always loved Longhorn in Michigan and this place amazed me even more. The picture below is of my lamb chops the following visit. Of course Paige suggested it. Not frozen. I had the outlaw ribeye. Med-rare. Cooked perfectly. However, it was super salty. And the 9yr old Knob Creek old fashioned seemed pre-mixed. Had a Makers Mark at the bar then the signinture house drink at the table and they were worlds apart. Kidos for online waitlist.

The staff were very helpful and attentive. When we thought we might need something one of them would appear. Our server, Sydney was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us awesome recommendations for food and drink choices. She was quick with refills and extra loaves of bread. Our order was presented in a timely manner. The steak was cooked perfectly rare and was melt in your mouth delicious. The salmon was amazing. The bourbon glaze was superb! Both the baked and sweet potatoes were wonderful. Sydney had assists from T who delivered our food with a smile and friendly banter, and another server came by and picked up some empty plates. Everything about our visit was awesome. We highly recommend Longhorn Steakhouse.

Went to the test run on Sunday the 14th and was very impressed. The training I witnessed for the new staff seemed to be very thorough. The restaurant was very clean and had a comfortable atmosphere. Our waitress did a wonderful job! Now to get to the nitty gritty; Fresh baked bread and butter is brought to your table. We absolutely love the bread! We ordered the Brisket Queso (definitely recommend!) for an appetizer and it was so delicious! My main course was the Longhorn (T-bone steak), loaded baked potato and broccoli. When I say mouth watering, I mean it! There was so much flavor in the steak, juicy and the texture was perfect, I was very pleased. My son ordered the LH Burger with a loaded baked potato. He said it was delicious! (the picture makes it look smaller than it really is). My daughter ordered the Chicken strips with mac n cheese and FF. The Mac n cheese was on point! Very cheesy! Over all everything was delicious, the staff was great and the manager is very friendly! Cant wait to go back!
