UNSAFE chic??? Tried their cold Sammie s not bad just above Subway. Decided to try hot sandwich chic parm sammie; as soon as u open it you can see it was a bit off. Being brave took a bite very very chewy and fully inedible!! Chucked it- advised business and zip-zero-nada. Do they not have standards??

This was my first visit with my family and we really enjoyed the food and service. Noah was amazingly patient with us while trying to figure out what we wanted to eat. Trust me it wasnt easy for him. Nice local pizza place. Small but efficient and clean. Ordered four large pizzas and they were ready in about 30 minutes which was exactly as promised. Parking can get a little tricky in the late afternoon or early evening.

*Supreme with cheesy bread Very good homestyle pizza. Fresh ingredients, good portion size on Italian sausage and fairly quick service. Cheesy bread was on point. Crust was fairly soft and not too chewy. Great texture. Wish the crust had a lil more crisp on the ends and cheese/ ingredients were closer to the outer edge. If you like the crust, then its prefect. But you can finish the whole slice with the extra outer edge because the crust is so good. Price is a little steep but product is very good. Will return again and try other options. Highly recommend.

Tried based on neighborhood recommendations...they were right! I tried the calzone and it was great ...veggies, cheese, onions all baked in the dough just right along with marinara. Price is also reasonable. The man at the counter was very welcoming and helpful! Definitely going back to try pizza and other dishes. Check it out and see for yourselves, you wont be disappointed. Vegetarian options: All dishes have vegetarian options so you can customize it.

If you don t know you re gonna know now, jonuzis is the best pizza on the block hands down. Don t get me wrong I love my cicis and my dominos, but nothing compares to getting a hot and fresh pizza from jonuzis and smelling the delicious aroma on the way home, then biting into the crispy crust and perfect ensemble of toppings and knowing your nose wasn t being deceitful this pizza really is this good, mm mm mm mm. Their subs are delicious too, though sometimes I feel like the bread is a lot for the sandwich (which isn t me complaining, just a personal preference). They re still yummy and ginormous, and all in all I would highly recommend this place! Also to the customer who came up with this cheeseburger pizza, this is actually really, really good! I was very skeptical this pizza could be good given the mustard and pickles but my skepticism has been met with satisfaction and approval kudos!

Didnt eat here because the place reeks of cigarettes from the bar next door. If like to try the pizza but i dont want cancer built in to it. Edit- bar is gone! Smells like pizza when you walk in! My wife, a Jersey girl, found this place on Google reviews while we were taking a trip to Winstar from Mansfield. It s not too far off the highway. We had high expectations for the pizza and it didn t disappoint. My wife said it was authentic Jersey crust! They had a lunch special with a custom pizza and drink for under $10 dollars. One of the better pizza spots in Denton, definitely a hidden jem. Pizza is always delicious and you can tell they use great ingredients. I had the Philly cheesesteak yesterday and it was good I added jalapeños and they added a bit too much but I ll blame myself for that. I was hosting my daughters 22nd birthday and we had about 20 guests invited so I looked at reviews for best pizza in Denton and I am so glad I did and found Jonuzis! I ordered 5 large pizzas (all different) and 1 gluten free pizza for my daughter and I. I am Italian and usually like to order way more food than needed but my daughter insisted that I keep it closer to the cuff this time as we have always ended up with so much left over pizza that goes to waste in the past. Not the case here!! As soon as every person took their first bite, they were saying where is this from and this is so good. The pizza was being gobbled up so fast that I immediately got back on the phone and ordered 3 more! It wasnt that it wasnt enough pizza, it just wasnt enough of THIS pizza. AND the gluten free pizza was not just the best GF pizza I have ever had but maybe the best pizza Ive had. The crust was crispy but not like a cracker and it was so flavorful. Will definitely be ordering next time I am in town and I think whether you are GF or want a really great pizza, you should too! The prices were very reasonable and way less than some of the more well known pizza shops in Denton also. Vegetarian options: So many delicious varieties of vegetarian and also no red sauce pizzas. Got a cheese pizza last week which was great and got a Philly cheesesteak with fries tonight. Definitely one of the better Philly cheesesteaks in the area, very true to east coast. I was actually more impressed by the fries, they remind me of boardwalk fries from Rehoboth Beach. As soon as I saw the fry packaging I knew it would get soggy quick so I immediately dumped them in the bag which was a good call and they were perfectly crispy.

Got the BBQ chicken stromboli and it was more like pizza soup. Burned bread soaking in greesy, bbq sauce. Just not good. I also tried the mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, and cheesy bread sticks: mozzarella and jalapeno tasted like frozen food, and the bread sticks were soggy and had way too much cheese. We go there often. The quality of there food varies. The time before last we got the cheeseburger combo and a Philly cheese steak sub. Both where undercooked. I contacted them and reported it and they said they would give us credit for the next time we came back. We went there Thursday night and again undercooked but this time after eating the French fries Both my sister and brother in law got sick throwing up the French fries. Would not recommend it

Super disappointed, for the amount of money I spent. Ordered a 16inch meat lovers, looked like a 12 inch. Also ordered a burger meal, and a side salad, with a 2 liter. The meat on the burger was pink, the salad was watered down, and they failed to give me my 2 liter I ended up with a can soda. Finally some good crust! Moved to Denton this past year and have tried most of the pizza in town, but this is the one. My girlfriend went to school in new york for several years so I have had a lot of good pizza in Brooklyn and the east village. As a person whos actually from NJ/Philly, and we do mean South Jersey, this was a really poor excuse for Jersey Pizza. The crust was flavorless and chewy, and it wasnt even great for a regular pizza. I also got a shore staple, the chicken Parm sandwich which was over toasted, but soggy and tasted like disappointment mixed with stale chicken cutlets. Ill give it another chance, but right now this is in my top 5 worst pizza places ever - and Ive eaten a pizza in Kansas! Not at all like the Jonuzis in AC, so I hope to have a better experience next time.

Best Pizza place around! Great ingredients. Ill drive from Lewisville to pick up a pie rather than go somewhere close. I forgot to get a picture of the Chicken Parm sub, but it was superb!

The Philly cheesesteak is the best I ve had since moving here from New York. Very very good!!! I also ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and it was okay, the sauce is tastey but there s not really a lot of flavor else wise that makes you go man that s GOOD! The homemade ranch was also delicious. I would absolutely recommend this place and will be returning for the cheesesteak and to try other pizzas as well

Have been a customer of Jonuzis Pizza for nearly 6 years. After the original owners have left nothing is the same besides the commercialized sodas. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted by what was delivered not once, but twice! Even the make up pizza after I complained and a new one was sent out WAS GROSS TO!! It was like flimsy super thin and even delivered cold. I will never be returning or recommending this location ever again. I understand about saving money, but you should really save your customers. By cutting corners like Dominos and Pizza Hut you lose your originalities, and just absolutely disgusted with what has replaced what once was. R.I.P the original Jonuzis.. you are missed! Thats one less place in Texas that has decent New York and New Jersey style pies. SMH!! Its like 2 toned tony.. both pizzas looked different and they were supposed to be the same. Just gross...

This was great! For our first ever visit we got a large Lasagna pizza, a small Tuscany white pizza, and 10 hot wings. Everything was delicious! The pizza is thin but not cracker crust thin. It s more like NY style pizza. Thin enough to fold (I am not a thick pizza fan). All the food was tasty and filling (they give you a lot of food). We liked the vegetarian pie the best. Best pizza I have had in Denton to date!

Im updating this review because New Owner Guy (sorry i dont know your name) was good enough to respond. My actual complaint is that since the change in management, we have gotten burnt pizzas, pizzas that did not have the right ingredients, specifically a margarita pizza with no basil, and the crust was completely different. It more closely resembled the horrible crust that every other place makes. I dont know how its done but the crust is where the magic happens. You cant change that even subtly imo. That said, we decided to try Jonuzis one more time because we wanted pizza and just couldnt go back to the other Round-Cheesy-Saucy-Food-Product excuse for pizza that every other place sells. We got it and it was a lot better than it had been. Not as good as before, but good enough that well be back. My wife got a sub and she said it was just as good as before. I hope this trend continues. Updating to three stars. I hope I can push it back to five. This place used to be the very best pizza I have ever eaten outside of New York and until recently I was ordering from Jonuzi s two or three times a month. However, about six months ago it was sold to a new owner who personally guaranteed me that nothing would change, they would do everything just like they had always done, etc, etc. This turned out not to be true. I ve ordered three times since it changed hands and it went from sort of recognizable to so bad that I ordered from Pizza Hut. PIZZA HUT! The place whose pizza tastes like a circle of hot garbage is now preferable to Jonuzis. I am quite outraged and heartbroken and probably overreacting but in these times of massive upheaval, knowing that you can at least get great pizza was a small comfort. Alas, no more. New owner guy, please take heed.

Wow! Our 3rd child is at UNT and we just discovered this place! The pizza is great with fresh ingredients. Amazing selection. It will be one of our go to places to eat in Denton and you dont have to fight for parking like you do on the square.

Killer place! Ceaser salad was great and huge; could easily feed two. The house sub which is a chicken bacon ranch was also quite large and extremely good! I am definitely going back for more, their menu is loaded with choices; not your typical fast food place- head and shoulders above the rest! Update... Just got a philly from them, OMFG!! One of the best Ive ever had in north texas! And the price... FUGGETABOUTIT!! ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY THE BEST,! Well... What are you waiting for?! ORDER ONE NOW!!! Im new to Denton and had the pleasure of eating the food from this place yesterday. Philly cheesesteak was amazing. The didnt skim on the ingredients and it had lots of flavor. The delivery guy was hands down the coolest guy, he went and got some Advil for me from the gas station on the way here. Never had such amazing customer service. Ill be ordering from ghis place quite often from here on out. Glad to know theres still good businesses out there like tg his still thag care about their customers and can still provide quality food.

This pizza is incredible. Crispy crust in every bite, good ingredients, and the crust actually has good flavor. It s how I imagined good pizza tasting when I was watching the Ninja Turtles eat pizza as a kid.
