Weekend down at the coast and tried this spot out for some breakfast tacos. Absolutely stellar. Big bonus points to them for their drive thru. Tacos came out hot and fresh. The bean and cheese were so good! Both rojo and verde sauces had great flavor and a very nice kick. Highly recommend for breakfast tacos. Will have to try the lunch and dinner next time I m there.

My husband saw that they had almost 5 stars and the food looked good in the pictures .When we got there the waitress was very rude to my Sisterinlaw when she was asking about if sour cream came on the nachos and also she only asked us what we wanted to drink and not her . My Sisterinlaw had to tell her she wanted a drink too . Then the waitress comes back with only my drink and it was gross I had ordered a piña colada and it tasted like sweet water because it was not frozen at all .She then brings my husband nachos with ground beef on top but it had some kind of sauce with the meat it didnt taste good also my Sisterinlaw got her chorizo with melted cheese mix together it was super greasy .Well we got the food and our drinks and finally she told my Sisterinlaw that she was going to make her drink well she did and it was the wrong one also I told her my drink tasted bad and she was rude and told me thats what you ordered I said yes but this is not a piña colada its not even frozen the waitress said it had some kind of tequila and Sprite in it so it was my drink I told her I am not paying for a drink that taste bad and its not even frozen or cold she finally took it back .She also got frustrated with my Sisterinlaw inlaw because she made the wrong drink for her like it was my Sisterinlaw fault she didnt make the right one .We told the owner and he said my Sisterinlaw didnt have to pay for her food or drink. But my husband still was going to pay for his nachos that where not even good and his beer and the waitress was trying to make him pay the tortillas that where not his .At the end we told the owners dauther I think she was that we waitress was very rude she said she was sorry but the whole time the waitress was there next to her trying to look like she didnt do anything. I like trying new places but definitely will not try this place again because the food was not good and the drinks also bad service.

You NEED to try this place out. I am picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants because most taste Fake. This place is 100% authentic Mexican food. We came to visit Corpus Christi Friday and had this place for dinner and HAD to come back Saturday morning. It was that good. Their flour tortillas are fluffy and have a good flavor to them they don t taste fake. And the meat is well seasoned and tender. I got the beef milanesa and for breakfast I had the chilaquiles and a bacon & egg taco. I enjoyed them both. The green salsa is very good too. Please try them out! The service is very great too.

Food is always wonderful. Generous portions/shareable. Great chips, salsa, avocado jalapeno sauce and white cheese dip. Good breakfast tacos, lunch plates or dinner margaritas are always good. We were looking for a place to eat and we came across this place. The ratings were decent but not the highest but the pictures of the food look good and the menu options were amazing so we decided to give it a try. When we first walked in I was kind of hesitant due to the cleaning product they used. It wasnt bad just different. We sat down and was waited on really fast. The. When the food came I was blown away. I had the fajita mix and the sauce, cheese, mushrooms and meat blend hit the spot!!! I havent seen this type of menu item anywhere else and it saddens me as it is on my list of all time best Mexican dishes! If you are in the area you really need to stop by and eat here. Really good!

This place is nothing fancy, just what youd expect in a small beach community, but the food was good, service was great and the price was right! Great value for your buck at the end of a long beach day. The chips and queso were excellent! I had the flautas and they were delicious. My husband enjoyed the seafood enchiladas. The dino shaped chicken nuggets were a hit with the kids. The margaritas were good and my large beer was MUCH bigger than expected for 6 bucks! Well be back on our next visit for sure!

These hands down are the best breakfast tacos on the planet. I know thats a bold statement. We are from San Antonio and know a thing or two about breakfast tacos. The tacos were busting out the seams with pure goodness. Each bite took me back to my childhood, and at the end of taco I ended up in memory lane as if I was seated at my abuelas and tias kitchen table. I highly encourage you to always support local especially this wonderful place. Green salsa was the right amount of spice. I wanted to make sure that it was not an accident so I went 2 days in a row and the second day was even better. Breakfast tacos are amazing!!

This is the most delicious Mexican food that I have had since I ate my mothers green chicken enchiladas, which is exactly what I had. The fajitas are spiced great and thinly sliced. The flour and corn tortillas are both delicious. The guacamole was great. The queso was fantastic. The grilled shrimp are also spiced great, and the grilled vegetables were perfect. The rice, beans, and chips are average. But overall, this was a great stop on are get away trip to the island. NOT FRIENDLY! Pushed me and my family out because we brought our service dog in. There was no customers there and we used to enjoy this place so we where very disappointed when the old grumpy fart of a manager didnt uphold the usless sign on the door that said service dogs welcome and he was getting in our faces with his mouth full of food. Great mom and pop find! Stopped in for breakfast and had the barbacoa and eggs. Extremely tasty, hot and fresh. They serve a red and a green salsa. The red was smokey, had good flavor, but was plenty hot and spicy. The green was not a taste that I personally cared for, and should have come with a warning label for heat. One extremely small taste, and I was done; mouth and throat both on fire. The prices were reasonable, the staff was friendly and the helpings plentiful. I look forward to coming back here on my next visit to CC so I can sample something other than breakfast. UPDATE 08/05/23 Finally got the opportunity to try something other than breakfast food, and I was not disappointed. I got the Texas plate(2 cheese enchiladas, carne guisada, rice and beans). The food was hot, fresh and tasty! The carne guisada was very tender, and had great flavor as well. Still have to throw out a warning for the salsa, its HOT. The table salsa served with the chips was plenty hot, but then our waitress brought over 2 squeeze bottles with other salsas, one red and the other green. The red was like 2 steps hotter than the table salsa, and the green was straight up ridiculous! Great overall experience; good food, and a very friendly wait staff. Well definitely be back!

Went to this place an hour before it closed at night but they were not rushing us at all or making us feel uncomfortable. They took great care of our group. The food was delicious and served quickly, the customer service was super super good, all the staff was kind, smiling, with a great attitude! We mostly ordered fajitas but our kids got the whole fried fish and the carne guisada (they loved it!). Also they are strategically located outside of the Mustang island beaches, so next time we go to Corpus Christi will definitely stop here!

We went for breakfast. I got the eggs with chicharrones with a side of Ranchero sauce. The food was delicious, the refried beans were very good and the corn tortillas were warm and soft. The servers were very attentive and the food came out within about 10 min. I look forward to going back and trying their lunch.

Had business on the island early , so I thought I would try this place for breakfast as they had good reviews. Boy, were they right. The Machado was some of the best I have had , they even left off the tomatoes as I requested. The beans were very good . I think the potatoes might have been a little more crisp , but they did taste fine. The server was very nice and checked on us often ( after she brought our food!!) The prices were very reasonable and I cant wait to go back. The inside was nothing special , but it was clean, and when they did clean a table, it was not with a strong smelling cleaner that makes you lose your appetite!! I will go back to try lunch or dinner for sure.
