I went through a few months of one to two visits a week here for an ongoing issue that was quite serious. He could neither find the cause of this issue nor offer me any treatment that actually worked. He did tell me that a hysterectomy was on the table if nothing else worked, but when it came down to it and I asked about getting it, I was denied because I might want kids someday . Go elsewhere.

Doctor McDonald and NP Carissa is truly amazing! I have only met him couple times and he is so kind, As a first time parent, Dr. McDonald ensures that everything is going the way it should! I am 33 weeks pregnant and have been seeing Dr McDonald since about the midway point. I will be honest, I was skeptical about seeing a male dr. I m modest and have always preferred female. I could not be happier with the care I have received by Dr McDonald at every appointment. He always takes his time to answer my questions (I show up with a list sometimes). I feel blessed to have found him and his team.

Dr. McDonald is a true pro-life doc, with a very good bedside manner. He has tons of experience delivering and is also a skilled surgeon, should a C-section be needed. He & Dr. Wilson do their best to see their own patients 99% of the time... so that lends itself to a more personalized experience. And the ladies at the front are very clear when explaining all of the billing or financial side too. Great practice!

Dr McDonald is one of the most personable doctors I have met. I ve been through a few OB s and Dr McDonald has by far been my favorite. I had a biopsy that I was absolutely terrified for (I m a huge baby) and he made it almost painless. Grateful to have found a doctor like him!

I have been seeing Dr. McDonald since 2004. He is a gem. He is caring, smart, thorough, and an all around expert MD. He takes time to listen to his patients and makes all of them feel like they are the most important person he has ever treated. In my late 20s, I had a hard time maintaining a pregnancy. Dr. McDonald walked through that with my husband and I and we now have 2 beautiful girls (that of course he delivered)! I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. McDonald!

I have written reviews before in gratefulness to Dr Mc Donald, as he helped not only myself but my daughter as well, solving an issue for her that had been a problem for over 10 yrs. When no one else could find a solution -he did. I will never be able to express my thanks enough. Recently I was helped again by Dr McDonald and Nurse Carrie over possible medication issues. Carrie the nurse was exceptional at getting all my needs met on the phone and listened to me carefully. She was an excellent communicator between me and Dr McDonald. She was very thorough in her care and I cannot appreciate her enough. Dr McDonald as well checked in on me personally to ensure things were good. It is hard in this day and age to find a Dr and staff members that are this pleasant to work with and as caring. Always a pleasure.

Dr. McDonald is extremely caring, personable, and professional. Everyone that works with him is super nice. Im very pleased by the amount of care every single person showed me through my entire pregnancy. This was my third pregnancy and even before anyone knew there were complications, I still felt like the staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for... more so than any of my previous 2 obgyn offices and doctors. Once we discovered I had a high risk pregnancy, I basically had 2 doctors, a specialist, a team of nurses, and nurse practitioners all constantly communicating with each other, even after hours and over a holiday weekend, trying their best to figure out how to give my little guy, who was gifted with some extra chromosomes, the best fighting chance. It was a rollercoaster but they made sure I had a familiar face by my side every time I had to go to the ER, whether it was Dr McDonald or his partner Dr Wilson. Unfortunately, in between my many appointments, we had a rough day and I lost him. I was very surprised by all the support I received from both Dr. McDonald and Dr. Wilson that day. Also, when I went in for a follow up appointment a week later, Dr. McDonald said a lot of sympathetic and supportive words that I apparently really needed to hear at that time. I think I may have found myself an obgyn office that I will want to continue to go to for as long as I possibly can... and its pretty rare for me to be comfortable enough with ANYONE to feel like that.

A great visit. The office was very clean and the staff was very professional. I recently moved and needed to find a new GYN. Happily my daughter has been given EXCELLENT care by Dr McDonald for some years now and I was able to feel confident in my choice to seek care from him. Edit... I am currently going here for Ob care now and am still very pleased with the care I receive and the staffs professionalism and kindness. Dr. McDonald continues to be very thorough and kind. The sonogram tech they have is amazing at what she does and is very kind as well. All together, great staff and Id still recommend this office for Ob and gyn care!! I went in for a new patient appointment and was very pleased with my visit from the time I checked in to the time I left. The staff were all very nice and professional. Dr. McDonald was absolutely amazing! He explained things very thoroughly and was very personable. I had a lot of anxiety around picking an OBGYN due to so many bad experiences in the past as well as watching my sister go through her pregnancy with a Doctor that was very harsh. The reason I chose Dr. McDonald was because of the reviews I read online and I have to say I have been blown away by the way everyone at alliance OBGYN has made me feel comfortable, and cared for! When I moved to the DFW area in 2014, I googled pro-life OBGYN and Dr. McDonalds name came up. Since that time, he has been my doctor, and I drive 25 minutes one way to see him. My husband and I appreciate his pro-life practice, his pleasant personality, and his natural approach to family planning and pregnancy. As a first time mom looking for a doctor I wanted the best that I could have. Dr. McDonald is wonderful. I moved up to Denton from Houston a couple of years ago and was on the hunt for a new OB. My now sister in law recommended Dr. McDonald and I was very happy with my well woman exam. He made me feel comfortable and most importantly, not rushed. I am now pregnant and in my third trimester, he has listened to all of my concerns and handled each one with genuine care. the doctor and nurse and all the staff is nice, is just front desk is really rude and discriminate me, she is always very bossy to me since when my first time came here. after I born my third baby, I need to do ask some question about IUD, because I being experiencing no period for over half a year and other symptom, so she said said I will let nurse call you back. the nurse did call back. after the nurse call back. after done with conversation with nurse, I realize I forgot to ask a very important question:I feel nauses and belling cramping and urinate frequent at night and weight gain is it because of the IUD as well. do I need remove the IUD now or can I wait is that urgent.and what kind of IUD they put inside of me. so I called back again to ask can I talk with the nurse I previous to talk to on the line. she said :no, she is busy. I said can I request a call back. the front desk said :no. how rude is it. completely ignore patients needs. and I know who is it, she is always this kind of attitude since the first time I being in this clinic. who give her that much big power can decide what patient needs what patient doesnt need. she is always being like that attitude, since i being in this clinic. I came here is because my friend recommend me there. she is always very bossy ,very arrogate and rude. the nurse here and doctor here is fine. they are very polite and humble.who give her that much power to decide everything.her decision for patients could be wrong. her decision could be bring patients lots of trouble. now remind me so much back of what she mistreated me and all my babies back 2 year and half ago.

He has provided excellent care for me over the years first with pregnancy and delivery and now almost 12 years later for monitoring now that I am most likely through having children. He is helping with the next phase of my life. He listens to all of my concerns and together we figure out the best course of action. He doesnt push you toward any one type of treatment without your input. Dr. McDonald knew my daughter had a 3rd degree tear and her uterus was hanging outside her body. Didn t tell us anything. McDonald gave no pain medication or instruction after she had her baby .i found her bleeding with her uterus torn out. How is he doing this and nobody is speaking up. Could he have this done to him without pain medications or medical help???

This is the best OBGYN ever! I drive 45 min from Frisco just to keep him as my doctor (and there are no lack for options in Frisco!). I was having the worst abdominal pain for weeks and my primary care ordered a ton of labs and tests, with no diagnosis or insight as to the pain - not kidneys, not ovaries - they were stumped. Dr. McDonald was not only able to identify the issue within minutes - he was also able to resolve the issue! Right there on the spot. Turns out it was nerve entrapment (yes, it s a thing - I googled it - haha - I never had heard of it before). He was able to give me treatment right there and the pain was gone within minutes. And has stayed gone and it s been several weeks since. Also, he s a darn good GYN. I literally trust him with my life. And he s personable, professional, and explains sensitive things with compassion and understanding without being awkward.

I met Dr. Daniel McDonald because he was my sisters Gynecologist. He took care of her during two pregnancies and a cyst surgery. He was great every time I accompanied my sister. I got pregnant with my second baby and I did not choose him only because he was a male doctor. I went to a female doctor and she was great at the beginning but she messed up when she told me the baby sex even when she knew I wanted to be a surprise. She was there for my due date, but when I was in labor the hospital staff never found her, so I was alone with another doctor. I went back to Dr. McDonald for my third pregnancy and he took the time to hear about my experience with my female doctor. He promised me not to leave me alone. The last week previous to my due date he was planed to be out the town for the weekend and he said; I will see you next week. After my appointment with him, I started to have contractions and I went Friday to the hospital, I was so scared because I knew he wont be there for me and I felt alone. I remember, I prayed to God. I also, I asked Saint Raphael Archangel to be my doctor behind the person who would be taking care of me. Next thing I knew, my baby was coming and heard the nursess saying: your doctor is here. I turned my head around and I saw Dr. Daniel with some angel wings behind him and telling me your are going to be fine. I knew he was right, I knew I was an care and I knew I wasnt scared because he was there for baby and for me. I named my baby boy Rafael as an honor to Saint Raphael Archangel. I took the time today to write this review about Dr. Daniel McDonald because he accomplished his promise not to leave me alone when I needed him the most. He is amazing person in so many ways and this is a way to say thank you. Thank you Dr. McDonald is been a blessing to have you as my Gynecologist. Wonderful experience! Made me feel at ease and heard. Not like other obgyn offices who push an agenda. this place is pro life and values the dignity of every human being. This office feels like a family atmosphere. The wait time was a little long but that is because the doctors take their time with you and do not rush. They answered all my questions and concerns thoroughly so I didnt mind the wait too much. Additionally, they work with health share plans which can be a little tricky to arrange. They made that process painless so far. Hopefully as visits continue, I wont have any problems.

Went in for my new patient appt and birth control consult, Lindsey Council Nurse Practitioner was simply perfect. She works with Dr. McDonald and Dr. Wilson. She has a calm disposition, is sweet, knowledgeable, and professional. I had lots of questions and she gave me the quality time and answered them to my satisfaction. For those squeamish about seeing a nurse practitioner instead of a doctor or seeing a young clinician...well, you can leave that at the door! Highly recommend Lindsey FNP

I have moved an unfortunate number of times in my life and lived in many countries and many states. I have therefore seen many obgyns. I will say, without a doubt, that Dr. McDonald is by far the best OBGYN I have ever been to. I have been going to him for years, since we moved to the area. I only went to him after family and friends highly recommended him to me. I was concerned about having a male obgyn but all of that changed after my first appointment. He is so warm, calming, caring, and humble. He has high morals and values and is understanding, gentle and always conscious of what he is doing. He always warns you before he has to do something that may cause discomfort such as checking your cervix dilation. I have never felt uncomfortable, rushed, not taken seriously, or anything negative with him or his office staff. He delivered my 3rd son and it was the easiest and most comfortable delivery I have ever had. He is encouraging to the point of uplifting and I am so grateful for having been his patient. Unfortunately I got a new job and my insurance changed. I am not able to go to him as of yet, but I am in the process of changing health insurance so I may make my way back to his care. I have missed him ever since Ive had to leave and just cannot find another OBGYN who even remotely compares, Male or female. I absolutely LOVE Dr. McDonald. I highly recommend him.

I started going to Dr. McDonald because he is prolife, but after the first visit I knew he was the best OBGYN I have ever been to. He has always made me feel very comfortable, especially for a male gyno. Now as my OB doctor, both my husband and I are very happy with the tine and attention he gives us at each visit.

I chose Dr. McDonald after a friend referred him. I couldnt be more pleased with him or my experiences at his facility. I wanted a pro-life doctor and thats exactly what he is. He really listens to his patients. His office is calming. His staff is wonderful. Hes by far the best OB-Gyn Ive had.

I was looking for a pro-life GYN to take over my care and am glad I put aside initial concerns I had about seeing a male doctor. I am a new patient (2018) but find Dr. McDonalds approach and commitment refreshing. He and his staff are caring, professional, and responsive. Most doctors today focus on profit above care. I dont feel like that with Dr. McDonald. I feel like he is going to help me get the answers and care I need and will be someone I can rely on going forward. I am excited to recommend him to my family and friends. Thanks be to God for Dr. McDonald!

My wife uses McDonald he has always went out of his way for our family, and seems to be very encouraging and attentive for my wife. We lost our son a few years back and he was there every step of the way as personal and medical support. He now will be delivering our third child. I wouldnt trust anyone else.

DR. McDonald is a wonderful doctor. Very sweet and Listens when I am worried or have any questions. He has been my OB with all three of my little ones, I cant imagine going to anyone else. I refer him to everyone and he has cared for many of my friends and family members as well. The office is always very friendly and welcomed you with a smile. Wouldnt go anywhere else. Keep up the good work, its hard to find a good doctor!

He is the worst. He didnt even ask me any questions when we first met, like introductions or anything, he just looked at me and said birth control is garbage and I dont do it and he walked out the room. I had run after him and get him to talk to me and explained Im on birth control because my uterus has issues and my previous gyno told me it would (which it did lots!) and he told me thats garbage and that he doesnt believe in it. So he told me to stop taking it so we can find a more natural way but Im in constant pain, but I guess that doesnt matter as long as Im taking a more natural route.

Dr. McDonald was all right at first . Didnt really help me but Seen me every so often . About my third trimester he started to back off . That is when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and diabetes . Asked to be on light duty because I work for Denton state supported living Center, and was afraid that I would get hurt . He refused to even consider it and told me that I was perfectly fine . Went to hospital 2 to 3 times for heat exhaustion. I practically begged him for light duty but he would not have it . After that my husband and I called him and asked him why he wouldnt put me on light duty. Things got heated between my husband and him because of the frustration . After that I only had a few weeks left before I was to deliver . We set up an appointment and in that appointment he told us that he can no longer be our doctor . He told me that he would only provide me one month of care before he lets go completely ! I was so shocked and scared because I only had a few weeks left before baby was due . So now I only have 2 to 3 weeks left with no doctor . Worst doctor by far I have ever experienced !

OMGOSH! If you are near DENTON HANDS DOWN best OBGYN Ive ever been too! The office could use an update and thus threw me for a loop. BUT I have a prolapsed uteris and was afeard of the visit. Nurses were nice, and PERSONABLE and never judgmental cuz thats what we all hate right?! Dr was very down to earth and polite and I felt the most comfortable in one of those type of visits ever. And After the shortest examination ever I sat up and asked if they couldnt do the pap-smear due to the prolapsed utirise and I was told he had. NO PAIN!!!! LIKE DIDNT EVEN FEEL IT! THAT NEVER HAPPENS! They always brace you for a pinch. Never saw it coming never felt it happen! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Does not listen my wife works at state school with violent individuals and should be on light duty but he refuses to do so she has gestational diabetes and high blood pressure that alone is enough for light duty and is mandatory according to state law.

He absolutely refused to listen to me or get to know me after I said I wasnt happy to be there. Was not interested in building trust - apparently a person is just supposed to trust the random old man tasked with shoving things in their vagina, the first time they meet him, no questions asked. Sorry, not how I operate. I didnt even get a first appointment. He kicked me out, for trying to be honest with him, the second I opened my mouth. Im high risk (multiple miscarriages), and it took me 3 weeks to get in, only to be refused? So much for being pro-life. Worst experience ever.

Ive had PCOS for 10 years and had difficulty trying to conceive. Dr. McDonald helped us in the most natural and moral way possible. I am now pregnant due in 2.5 months. He is freidnly, funny, knowledgeable, takes time to answer questions and I have complete faith that he will always keep mine and my babys best interest at heart. The office staff and nurses are also great. The wait time is a little long, but its worth it bc I know he is being just as thorough with everyone else, too. I wish 10 years ago before moving to TX I couldve had a doc like this.
