First time having the burrito and it was AWFUL, go back to the drawing board!! Its like if someone threw in a bunch of rice, beans and guac together and a few pieces of chewy steak in there. It was so sloppy and messy I had to open it up and pick at it like if it was an appetizer with my chips because the consistency of the tortilla was so overwhelmingly soggy. Just a terrible excuse for a burrito period!

Ive never really liked Torchys Tacos (over-hyped, over-produced, over-priced) but it was open early and on my way and it was advertising breakfast tacos and I had a half hour before the UPS store opened and...he doth protest too much, I know, but there were circumstances! Anyway, I stopped in for the most basic thing on the menu: two breakfast tacos with bacon, egg, cheese, and salsa. Cant mess that up, right? Au contraire, my brother! What I got was some flat, dry scrambled egg on an undercooked, chewy tortilla, sprinkled with some chopped up bacon bits, a bit of obviously packaged shredded cheese, and a drizzle of tasteless mild salsa. None of the ingredients were cooked together or integrated or even hot enough to melt the cheese. Assembly-line tacos, for sure. The whole mess was a cold, dry, bland ghost of a breakfast taco. Eight bucks for two rolls of sadness. Oh, and they dont serve coffee--with breakfast! Why even open the door? Never again. p.s. re: the owner response: I am literally hitting up your team right now!

Torchys in Denton automatically charged me for tipping on my credit card. After I order my food, I sat down, and I happened to glance over my receipt and noticed the extra charge. I was not asked if I wanted to tip. They just took my money. Why would I tip when all of your employees are being paid an hourly wage? I order my own food, get my own drink, and clean up my own table. From what I read, in the state of Texas, if a restaurant is going to automatically charge a tip, then that needs to be clearly posted for the customer to see, and it absolutely is not in your Denton location. I will not be coming back.

This was our first time to Torchy s Tacos. Maddie took our order and was extremely helpful! She gave us great recommendations and we loved everything! Emma came around and checked on us and gave us a coupon for a free 1/2 queso the next time we came. It was a very good experience, and when we are back in the area, we WILL be back!

I had a really disappointing experience at this Torchys Tacos. I ordered in-store, but they got my order completely wrong and didn t even include the drinks I paid for. When I brought it to the managers attention, they were incredibly rude and unhelpful, refusing to correct the mistake. I left feeling frustrated. The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive instead of fixing the order. They refused to acknowledge the mistake and offered no solution. This level of poor customer service is unacceptable. I wont be returning to this location.

5 stars across the board! This is one of the better, if not best, Torchy s locations. I ve been traveling all over Texas these past couple of months and I have found myself eating at a Torchy s at every stop. Torchys Tacos 07-15-24 The restaurant was clean. We had no wait for lunch. The employees were friendly and helpful. We started off with an appetizer of Guacamole & Chips. It was flavorful and fresh. It was a little spicy but not too spicy. We had two Street Tacos 1 Fried Avocado on a Corn Tortilla and a Baja Shrimp on a Corn Tortilla. 2 Beef Fajita and 1 Chicken Fajita on Flour Tortilla. 1 Beef Fajita Grande Burrito. Service was quick. All the food tasted fresh and served hot. Except for the Guacamole which was cold. We will be back.

I have been a customer for over 10 years, I LOVE the queso and chips. I have experienced in the past few mi the the amount of chips I get in my to-go order is less than half a bag. I just called and asked why they are skimping on the chips, of all things. Manager told me they are cutting cost a giving less chips, the funnel thing is the manager told me they give the same amount of chips for a full order or a half order. I m trying to wrap my head around the fact that if you order a larger size of queso you get the same as a small order???? Now I know it s just chips but Torchy s it s literally pennies in the profits so cutting cost on chips???? Come on this is not good business sense!

Food was decent, but is insanely overpriced. This was my first visit. I ordered what I thought was a taco plate for $6. She then asks how many tacos I want. I asked how many it comes with The $6 is for one taco. No side. No drink. I spent $15 after tax and a coerced tip and left hungry. Two tacos alone aren t enough for lunch. I don t understand how this place is rated so high. The tacos are slightly above average, but 3x the price most places charge for a similar size and quality taco. Won t be back.

Torchy s is my favorite place to enjoy delicious spicy quality tacos. This was my first time to visit the Denton TX Torchy s. The building is clean and fairly spacious. It has a large outdoor patio that many seem to prefer. The bar was spacious and the staff friendly. My favorite taco is the grilled salmon taco on a corn tortilla. I struggle to order anything else as it s so delicious and satisfying. The staff was exception in their friendliness and desire to please. Especially Chrisey. She made sure my table was clean, that my food tasted exceptional and was hot. My order was taken quickly upon my arrival and my fresh hot salmon taco was delivered to me quickly. Torchy s chips, salsa and queso are legendary. Definitely the best I ve ever eaten.

We had a catering order for 40 people. We dealt specifically with Bailey and Will, both were very knowledgeable and helpful. The ordering process was very easy, our food was ready on time, brought out to our car, and was absolutely delicious when we served it to our guests. We received so many compliments on how great everything tasted. Our family loves eating at Torchy s and this experience exceeded our expectations.

Jayden was so helpful and sweet. This was my first time visiting and I loved it. I had the wrangler breakfast taco with queso on the side. Seriously one of the best breakfast tacos I ve ever had. Kid-friendliness: They gave our kids crayons and coloring pages and no one cared about all the happy chaos. :)

At Torchys Tacos, not only did I enjoy their delicious food, but I also experienced exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond. When I unexpectedly needed assistance, the cashier, Neeka with quick thinking and professionalism, performed the Heimlich maneuver, saving my life. This act of heroism speaks volumes about the dedication and care Torchys staff have for their customers. Kudos to Torchys for not only serving tasty tacos but also for having a team that is truly there for their patrons well-being.
