We went for brunch and it was awful. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart and we could tell she was stressed at all of the issues going on. I ordered 12 oz ny strip (medium well) and eggs (which the menu said came with breakfast potatoes and fruit). My friend ordered the crab cake Benedict. The food took a long time to out and when it did, I received a salad size plate with scrambled eggs and completely chopped up pieces of steak that was burned on the outside and was purple/red on the inside. (My friend didnt receive her food. ) when our waitress returned I asked about the potatoes and fruit that were supposed to come with the meal and she looked confused. I showed her the menu and she went to check. When she came back and said they would be out soon I told her about the steak and we asked about my friends meal. I ate my eggs and another 15-20 minutes went by. She came back with my breakfast potatoes which were just frozen hashbrown patties like from McDonalds, and the fruit was a few blueberries and 2 small strawberries. My friend still didnt get her food. After another 15 minutes the waitress brought us out complementary bagels with cream cheese and said my friends meal was still a few minutes out. (No one around us had food... they had been there as long as us.) Finally, my friend received her crab cakes that were severely overcooked and were mostly crumbling bread. She later brought my steak back out but it still wasnt cooked. I only has to pay for my drink but the food and experience was so bad. We were there 2 hours and both left hungry.

I was so excited to come here,I had seen the drink and brunch menu and everything looked amazing. We walk in and immediately felt a bad vibe everyone around us looked upset and then we noticed no one around our area had been serviced since we had sat there in over 20 min including us. When the couple next to us asked for the check because they had only been served there drinks and nobody ever came back and the family on the other side of us waiting patiently as well to order their food and the waitress walking by never came to them or the other 4 tables in our area. We immediately got up and left.

What a great find! I would go to this bar in any city. Great ambiance and even better staff. Sat at the bar on a Saturday night, chatted with the staff, cycled through great music on the playlist and enjoyed their creative and delicious drinks. We tried the April in Paris, a mezcal old fashioned, the pickle marg and Can I Call You Rose. All fantastic!

This restaurant is decorated very well and has a nice atmosphere. We had a reservation for 12. We arrived at noon and ordered drinks fairly soon after. Everyone didnt have their drinks until almost 12:40. The drinks were pretty and they tasted good. However, we waited almost an hour for food. We thought they were waiting to bring the food out until everyones was done, but One of us got our food twenty minutes before everyone else. Then only half the table got their food (all of which was cold. Yes, it is supposed to be warm food). We had no silverware, and when we asked for some (because not all of it was finger food), they told us they needed to roll more. We waited as one of there servers sat at the bar and preparing silverware roles instead of just handing us the silverware so we could eat the food that had already taken an hour to get to us. When the second half of the table got their food, some of it was missing and a few of the orders were incorrect. (We did get a free plate of food when they accidentally made an extra I under that we had a large table and that there was a second large table that arrived before us, but it was a very disappointing experience. Everything is decorated nicely. The drinks taste good and the food LOOKS pretty. I cant speak for how it tastes because it was cold and cold breakfast food is not something I enjoy. The staff was friendly and the young man behind the bar of was kind enough to take a photo of the group for us. However, It feels like a place that cares more about the aesthetic.

This is such a cute and cozy spot! Everything we tried was delicious, both food and drinks. The staff was extremely attentive and provided great recommendations based on our tastes. I will definitely be coming back!

Stumbled upon this and I m so glad that I did. Been there a few times and it s a cute little diamond in the rough. The atmosphere was pleasant. Food was great. Service was amazing and all in all play one of my favorite places. The drinks were delicious. I recommend going there sometime you ll love it.

I only bought draft beers but watching the bartenders at work is entertaining in its self. I don t think I have been to a more professional yet welcoming bar in Midland. The gentleman bartender was very courteous and putting in hard work looking like Tom Cruise in Cocktail. Very reasonably priced. A nice classy yet relaxes establishment I will patronize again. Adding to my review. Waiters seem to working very hard. Music is awesome. Hoop & Barrel knows their clientele. Nothing but 90s rock. Matches the atmosphere and patrons perfectly.

Went to Hoop an Barrel and had a few beers and drinks. Plus a charcuterie board. We sat at the bar and had a great time. Good atmosphere good bartenders and waitstaff. Parking: In a strip center wit good parking.

New favorite bar in Midland. Have tried about half of the drink menu and have yet to find one that wasnt good. Food is fantastic tapas style and delicious. Bar staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Will be back!
