Delicious food and fun atmosphere and our server was super friendly. I saw a review that said (quesaberria was delicious, but be prepared to leave hungry) so I ordered a side of Rice and beans to go with them it definitely was not needed. They give you three tacos stuffed with meat I was super full and couldnt finish the rice and beans. My husband had the ceviche molcajete he loved it I am not a fan of seafood but even I thought it was delicious not a super fishy and everything tasted fresh. I definitely recommend you check it out if you havent already

Some of the food is very good and some is very bad. I went the other day with my wife and the tables were all dirty. We sat down regardless because I was at my lunch during work hours and we sat at one with the least amount of leftover food particles on the table. This is like my third visit and the barbacoa burrito was just very bland. My wife however ordered a different burrito and it was spectacular with a lot of flavor. I think it was the California. Edit 9/6: it was the fajita burrito not the California. My previous visits were much like this where we ordered more than one dish one would be good and one would be bad. Ill be back again to try other dishes in the future but Im giving the location a three at this time. That California burrito is the one I plan to order for myself next time.

Honestly one of the best meals I ve EVER eaten. Definitely THE BEST Mexican food I ve ever eaten by far. 5 stars is an injustice, they deserve 10 stars. The first bite is almost a religious experience, I would have happily paid double my bill just for the sheer fact it was so good.

All around great experience, great food, great customer service. I was in town for a few days and it was nice having a place across the street to get a big, delicious family meal, with a variety of tacos and fajitas. I will definitely visit again, because everyone was satisfied.

It was very loud for such a small place. For as many employees as there were, it seemed that there was only one server handling all the tables. Things that were ordered never came to the table. They opted to hit the mandatory tip for a table of 6, but the service didnt warrant it.

Just ordered for takeout. Everything was packed nicely with plenty of condiments with great flavor. Fajitas and Nachos were excellent. For the beef fajitas i would suggest using the salsa verde as it added a great flavor. Nice atmosphere and will definitely return to dine inside.

Horrible service! Don t bother. The food was OK. But the service was really bad. The ladies who work at the Front counter and serve were extremely rude, would not help the person in front of me. nor.me. completely ignored both of us. My food sat there. I could see it in the containers. They helped the dining-in people and took out several orders while mine sat there. The lady in front of me got hers finally and left. I stood there, and I asked the ladies (when I could get one to pay attention to me) to please get my order and bag it up. She said they had to take care of the people in the restaurant first. But my order was already ready and sitting there in the Styrofoam containers. My order was placed before the new people walking in . It took them probably another 5 to 6 minutes of serving other people and ringing up orders for paying customers before she bagged mine up. I was really shocked. By the time I got home with my lunch, it was cold. I would never give them my business again. They made it clear that to-go orders are a low priority.

We picked this restaurant on line as a good place to meet family driving from Oklahoma for a birthday dinner. We arrived at 5 pm, and by 6 the place was full. Service was excellent; 6 adults and 3 kids and all orders were perfect. The food was delicious. We live south of DFW metro, but I would eat here often if we lived closer. A nice little out of the way place in Denton.

Small little hole in the wall Mexican food restaurant. Has a huge television hanging on the wall. Soccer was on when we visited. Fair prices. Located in Denton. Seems college students attend as well . Small bar as well. Fixing up adult beverages. Margarita was one seller. Good came out surprisingly quick . Staff members were very nice and friendly as well. Stumbled across LA Fondita during a stressful day of house hunting and was perfect spot to relax. The staff was so nice, the food was amazing, Golden Burrito was a surprise. Very good salsa and their verda sauce was great. With their full bar and small entertainment stage, we will be back with friends for more than food. Great hidden gem in Denton, highly recommend. This place is about a 12 minute walk from my house. I stepped inside for an order of chips and queso (bowl) to bring home with me. It might be the best queso Ive had in a long time. The chips were great as well. Even their salsa was good, and Im not much of a salsa person. The lady behind the counter didnt say much, but she wasnt rude or anything. I liked the atmosphere of the place, and even after the 12 minute walk back to my house, the queso was still nice and hot. Im definitely going to be going back to try more things in the future.

If i could give this place a half star i would. Only because of the staff, otherwise, the food was decent. To begin the food came out cold. We ordered the carne asada with corn tortillas and they didnt bring the tortillas until we almost finished the food. We kept trying to flag down the waitress for a very long time and got no response. They just hide behind the counters on their phones and talking amongst each other! And dont let me get started on the drinks, we ordered margaritas and they served us juice and ice basically. It was so watered down, they were disgusting and what upsets me the most is that they refused to make it right for us. They insisted the drinks were perfectly fine when they were not. If I am paying for something I expect to get what I ask for! We wont be returning.

I was craving egg and chorizo breakfast burritos. I got two for less than $5. They were still hot by the time I got home. Try the horchata or fresh hibiscus drink. Needed a Caldo de Res, TexMex beef soup to get Ragweed out of my sinuses and throat. I KNEW I would find my medicinal liquid at La Fondita. The guacamole is spicy and did the trick! If I cant have El Paso menudo or caldo, La Fondita is also ¡Sabroso! I can breathe and climb 40 steps without stopping! To celebrate I stopped for hot chocolate from Starbucks. My cup and mountain of whipped topping. Went for a weekend Pozole. This is not exquisite New Mexico Pozole, nor El Paso Menudo. Disappointing. Too much fat on meat. Something is missing...not equal balance of hominy and TexMex spices were not included. I believe I will head to El Paso SOON. Fondita is overpriced and does NOT offer Veteran discount. Had some enchiladas that were mighty dry. They were corn tortillas with NO ENCHILADA sauce. La Fondita does NOT serve TexMex. I have no clue where cook is from. Not Texas. I will make my own enchiladas from now on. La Fondita just doesnt cook like Tejanos are accustomed to. The ONLY enchiladas for me are from EL PASO TAMALES. I ve only sat at the bar to eat but always have a friendly bartender, Marty to be exact, that pays attention to you, has good conversations. Last meal was the chicken chimichanga with sour cream sauce. STUFFED with fajita chicken. *chefs kiss*. Their sc sauce has the tang of sour cream. Such good flavor. Rice is seasoned well. I don t know how I haven t reviewed this place yet as I have been going here for over a year! They rock! I don t even know how many breakfast burritos I have bought from here. The owner is an awesome dude. It is a pleasure to watch his success and business grow. Plus he is a king of sauces and a master of his craft. All of the other members of the staff have always been lovely as well. Come support these guys!

This is a nice hidden gem! Had the menudo Sunday morning. It was very good! I found it strange they didnt have any other flavor of jarrittos besides pineapple and fruit punch but it couldve been a communication gap. The place was lively early in the morning and loved that you could buy sweets from a local bakery!

Great little hole in the wall restaurant. I really loved their short rib fajitas, but I haven t seen them out it on their menu lately. My mom loves the fried fish.

Been eating there since they opened. Came in today and was told it s now .50 per hot sauce. Each container is about a tablespoon. I ve never had a Mexican restaurant charge for hot sauce. They have always just included a few of each kind. I just canceled my order and will find another place.

First time here. The food is good, I wanted Menudo for breakfast. The menudo was almost perfect, the size of the bowl was a little small for the large size. I will be back for sure.
