I highly recommend Dr. Andrea Cummings! I have been seeing her for almost a year now and I have had a pleasant experience every time. I ve had many doctors that aren t willing to hear what I am saying and take into account what I want to get out of my appointment and what treatments I am open to. Overall, the office itself is very responsive and accommodating as well as the nurses being kind and attentive.

Very disappointed when you try to get a prescription refill. I was constantly told it would be sent and each time the pharmacy never received it. This is very poor service and should be considered a priority. The medical assistant Bryan is extremely poor with service, always fails to listen to the customers problems and concerns. I would not recommend this location for care.

Dr Brodnax is great, but everything else about this office is horrible. My wife and I both come here and getting refills is horrible. We call multiple times a day and leave messages with no return response. Our pharmacy also send in requests with no responses. We have both had appointments scheduled for the Denton office and when we arrive they tell us it was changed to the Keller office. We have sat in the waiting area and overheard the staff loudly talking to patients on the phone repeating names, DOB s, SSN and other private information. We have also had a horrible time getting lab orders sent in. They keep telling us it is our responsibility to make sure the lab orders are sent over. I am not sure how it is our responsibility for them to do their jobs, but it seems like it is.

I have insurance and for some reason they want to charge me $25 for a urine sample. I tell them to charge my insurance company and they tell me that they don t charge the insurance company. This does not seem right, why are they collecting internal $25 and not charging my insurance?? I m going to get to the bottom of this.

I am a new patient even though I think Dr. Broadnax seems to be attentive and has taken care of my needs however there seems to be a problem with the staff...Noone ever answer the phone unless youre scheduling an appointment when clearly there are other options if youre calling for something else for example refills or referrals the problem is your always instructed to leave a message but Noone ever calls back there was a time I left several messages and someone finally called back a week later...this is becoming a problem for me and I may have to find another doctor who can tend to my needs again im Not blaming the doctor.

I ve been trying to get a prescription filled for 2 weeks. Their process is to leave a message if you need a RX refill. I did that, then when I didn t get a response for over a week I have my pharmacy put in the request, again no response. Then I call the number and get through to the receptionist and she was beyond incompetent. She stated that my RX is a controlled substance and I needed a drug screening and haven t been seen since May 2023. My response was isn t that a good thing means I m healthy . She said I needed to be seen. I do an annual physical and if everything s good then there s no need to be seen more than once a year. Going back to the RX. I said my RX is NOT a controlled substance and she was wrong. Then she put me on hold to hopefully talk to someone with better knowledge and not to my surprise another incompetent person she said again I need to be seen for a drug screening. I called another dr office. Got in the next morning and got my RX filled and no drug screening. I ve had other issues with this office but this is what put me over the edge. I also want to mention that the medication I m on, you cannot just stop taking it. You have to taper off it so that is negligence on their end and they need better people running the office.

If theres a zero, that is what I would give! Dr. Broadnax is really nice and thorough, we were her patient to her prior clinic thats why when we found her again, we went to this clinic. But contacting their clinic number is so hasle! I was back and forth following up my referrals, laboratory and imaging requests. Im trying to connect to MA hotline, the first time I did connect to MA - Wrong information was given to me and no one call me back the next day. So I called the next day and all throughout the day theres no one answering the MA hotline! I tried to connect to scheduling and someone answered, they are not really nice! This is NOT The first time I had problems getting any lab/imaging request from them! Its very disappointing and frustrating how do they deal with the PATIENTS!!!! And I did ask how long is the turn around time for my request to have an update, she answered it depends how busy they are or how many patients they have the next day, DUH! IM ALSO A PATIENT FROM YOUR OFFICE!

I would have given this company a five star review until last week. I was dealing with Dee on account of my prescriptions because I am leaving the country for an extended period of time. I spoke to Dee last week. She was very short and said I should call her to remind her to call the prescription in yesterday. I spent the whole day on the phone, trying to get a hold of somebody and left messages. no one returned my calls. Today a hold of somebody by the name of Carla. She informed me that Dee no longer works there. I had to explain what was happening and why I needed the medication refilled in the quantity that I needed it. she said she would send it to the person that is replacing the Dee. She was obviously in a hurry or in a bad mood, while talking to me. Carla hung up on me while I was talking. I was trying to tell her to make sure she let them know that I need it called in today. I still can t believe she hung up on me after I spent the whole day yesterday, trying to get a hold of them! I called back and spoke to somebody else who told me Carla s name. I told him that I was not happy with the situation and then fact that she had hung up on me. I must say that I normally deal with Andrea Cummings and she definitely deserves a five star rating. However, they need to do something about getting more people to answer their phone lines This was the second time that I haven t been able to get a hold of anybody when I needed and they need to talk to SOME of their people about with clients. Most of the girls that deal with before at the office are really nice. It was unfortunate that this had to happen.

If I could give a negative star I would. Showed up at my appointment on time and no one else was waiting to be seen. Someone comes in 20 minutes after me and is seen before me. 45 minutes go by and nothing said to me so I ask what s taking so long. Get told the doctor is running behind. 5 minutes later get brought back. Talk to the assistant wait 10 minutes still no doctor. Had to leave because I had to go back to work. Wasted an hour for absolutely nothing. It s funny bc if you re late you either get skipped, cancelled or have to pay a fee. Theres so much more I d love to say but will spare you. There was poor communication that the doctor was running behind. When a simple phone call could be made to patients saying doctor is running behind please come a little later or hey the wait time is going to be longer. Then I call as I m driving back to work to see if I can finish the appointment over the phone and told no bc I have to be seen in person. I ask is it because there are test or things that need to be done to me personally. The answer was no we just don t do appointments over the phone. Even though they just saw me in person they knew my name when I called with out me giving it to them. But I forget it s my fault they were understaffed. Thank you again Be Well Primary Care. Beware of bait and switch billing Was formerly a great doctor s office. Most of the good doctors have left and I went in to get an annual physical done and they offered an autonomic nervous system test and assured me it was covered under insurances annual physical. Well the test was a joke and it tells you absolutely nothing of importance. Then they ll bill you over $200 after insurance... probably just to boost profits is my best guess. Also they never answer their phones and they use Quest diagnostics for blood draws who have personally lost my blood draws the last two times. Absolute joke. Stay far far away

The two stars are for Dr. Broadnax only. So far, she has been very thorough and personable. She shows a sincere interest in the my health and did not rush through her initial assessment. She is also very good at explanations in laymens terms. The other three starts were lost because of the front desk staff (specifically Christina) from my initial scheduling call her attitude has been horrendous. I remember her being very condescending and telling me how my insurance and billing works, even after I explained to her that I had just got thorough answers directly from the insurance provider that were in conflict with what she was saying. During my first visit I also noticed how unfriendly and short she was with me and the other patients. This is not what anyone anticipates when visiting a doctors office. It set the negative tone for the whole visit, that was only abated by Dr. Broadnaxs disposition. Most recently I needed to make a follow-up visit because my labs were not available during the prior visit. This was also upsetting because I had to drive 45 min there for a 9:15 appt. My labs were done a week before. While I dont feel that the missing labs were the clinics fault, I do feel that the failure was waiting until the morning of the visit to confirm the availability and not reaching out to myself or the lab prior. Anyways, I tried to reschedule this past Friday and was on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. Today, Monday I was also immediately placed on hold but this time for 30 minutes before speaking to someone. When I finally go Christina on the line. I was basically told oh well...its Monday in her typical condescending tone. While Im excited to be under Dr. Broadnaxs care. The front desk (Christina) is a barrier to that care...and Im not sure that its enough!! I pray that I dont have to deal with this woman and her extremely bad attitude any further!! My blood pressure is high just thinking about it!!

Dr. Andrea Cummings, DNP and her MA are by far the best primary medical team I have been seen by in this area. I moved my care to Be Well Denton after being completely unhappy with my previous medical provider. The staff at Be Well truly care about their patients health. I never feel rushed like I did with other doctors who give you 2 mins to explain your symptoms to then be rushed out of the office. Dr. Andrea Cummings takes time to really understand your symptoms and then discusses with you your options for treatments. My wife and I cannot be happier with our experience at Be Well Denton.

I am pleased with the service that has been provided for me so far. I say that cause I am a 69 year old boy that dont believe in doctors. The only time I have gone to doctors since childhood has been for stitches. Ive always believe the body would heal itself. My provider and everyone working there has been just as nice and helpful as they can be. Ive been to doctors that act like they could care less about you. I really like my doctor, but after waiting 4 days for prescription refills and 3 unanswered calls, I finally got ahold of a television doctor provided by my insurance after my blood pressure was was rising consistently. I was denied medication by the new doctor (Dr. Broadnax sic) at Be Well Primary Care Denton. She couldnt even write a script so she sent the request to the owner Dr. Vayani who confirmed the denial of the meds. I was left in a state of horrible withdrawals and sky rocketing blood pressure. Neither doctor advised me to seek a tapering dosage from ER. They simply abandoned my health and well being. Total medical neglect and severe cause of harm to my health and well being. They should have acted like legitimate doctors and made sure I was not in danger. I am pursuing legal action against Be Well Primary Care.

As a former nurse, I tend to be very picky with my providers. I was forced, due to a change in insurance, to find a new PCP, and this practice, in Denton, has blown me away with how wonderful, thorough, and friendly they are! I NEVER feel rushed, I feel at ease, and comfortable! They are polite, kind, and caring, from start to finish. I hope I never have to find a new place to go again! Be Well truly and genuinely cares! Zero/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! They routinely mishandle and misinform their patients. I went for medication management and never met with a provider. They prescribed the wrong dosage of medication and never consulted with me as a patient. They told me I could get a medication evaluation in the event that I had any issues, and then told me it was basically my fault when I ran out too soon. Horrible communication, zero accountability and lack of patient concerns. Overall, terrible experience and will not return.

Pointless visit. The provider did nothing. It s been over a week and I m still sick, I called to ask if they could do testing and The MA actually yelled over they phone while I was talking and hung up on me. If you re looking for a primary care doctor do not book an appointment here. If you re sick they will see you but it s only bill your insurance to get money, they don t do any testing at all. They have no intentions on doing anything to help you get better. I ve honestly never heard of any pcp that doesn t do testing, instead they were only interested in getting me booked for yearly pap appointment to bill my insurance again for a different reason. It s completely ridiculous. instead of helping me feel better all they want me to come come back in 2 weeks for something completely unrelated after they did absolutely nothing for me in my first visit. Not one test was done to rule out allergy s, sinus, mono, covid, absolutely no blood work, etc. Absolutely nothing! They did no testing, they didn t call anything in for me and I went in sick. It s been over a week, I m still sick. are a waist of money. This clinic is terrible I do not recommend at all!

Do not go here. Pricing is ridiculous and when the issue was brought up I was told they could do nothing. I went in for a new patient visit and paid $337 to get my vitals, height and weight taken and talk to the provider for less than 10 minutes about my medical history. I was then told to go get lab work done and make a second appointment for an actual annual checkup. Ultimately, I waited in the waiting room (with no one else in there) and in the exam room longer than I talked to a human. I will definitely not be coming back and do not recommend this place. I was excited to find a new place to go but it is completely absurd for subpar treatment.

Poor communication - Im sure Dr. Crawford is great, but I didnt get to meet her. I scheduled an appointment and then realized I was slotted with the PA. Nothing against PAs, but I had researched and was excited to see Dr. C, so I called and had my appointment rescheduled with Dr. C for the following week. I showed up, and once I was already called back and had height, weight, etc. taken, they informed me that I would actually be seen by the PA since Dr. C was out. Based on standard doctors office cancellation policies, I didnt think I could leave without being charged so I had a 5 minute visit with the PA where she recommended a treatment (that, upon further research, is not at all the standard of care for the issue I was facing) and my insurance was billed $380. I tried to reach out same day to billing about the issue of not being informed until it was too late that I would be seeing a different provider, but they didnt seem to care. They initially insisted I was notified, but I had the phone and voicemail records to prove that wasnt true. The women I spoke to on the phone talked down to me for not knowing I could leave without being charged once the appointment had already begun. So, Im stuck with a bill for an appointment I would have cancelled if they had just called me. Hopefully this helps someone else know what I learned the hard way - even if the appointment has begun, you can just leave without being charged, if youre not getting what you expected!!

Went for a doctors visit over 30 minutes early to be canceled in clinic. While being sick for over 2 months. For lack of staffing, no on even called to cancel the appointment and acted like I was an inconvenience. Because I tried to be seen on the day of my appointment. So much for pt care. Suggested I just go to urgent care. This was after having me sit down and wait for several mins. It could have been handled by simple saying Im sorry we forgot to cancel your appointment. I went in for an annual physical. However, even though I went in for an annual physical, once I told the nurse during the Q&A period that I had a couple ailments the appointment switched from being a physical to a doctor appointment. No one told me of the change. So I never received a physical as I requested. Lesson learned..... if you go to this place for a physical, dont mention any ailments or they will arbitrarily decide, without telling you, that youre not getting a physical after all. When I received the bill, it was $600. No tests were done, vitals were taken and I answered questions and that was it. $600!! After some frustration with trying to call them I received a call back several days later. The girl quickly backed off the $600 charge and lowered it to $150. I guess they gave it a try at $600 and when that didnt work, they changed the price. I cant help but wonder how many people just pay. Places like this are why health insurance costs a fortune. The doctor and medical staff were very nice but I wont return due to their sketchy business practices. And now I have to go to another doctor to actually get a physical.

OMG. Finally a Doctor s office that care. Their office has the best staff who provide quality customer service. Receptionist was very courteous and helpful. The nurse was friendly and attentive - struck up a conversation. Dr. Caldwell was really easy to talk to in layman terms. She was not condescending - friendly doctor. The whole office was set up nicely and super clean.

I am so, so glad that i was able to meet Dr. Crawford and her entire staff! All of her staff were so helpful, kind, friendly, and competent. Then, i met Dr. Crawford, wow she is amazing! She immediately put me at ease, she was so laidback and relaxed herself. Talking with her was like haveing a good friend come over for a pot of coffee! We even spent a few minutes discussing fried potatoes and onions cooked in a cast iron skillet, lol. She was obviously very competent and knowledgeable. I feel i was lucky to find her, and you will feel exactly the same way if you chose to select her as your doctor!

I m a nurse of 27 years. And now working as a school nurse. I need to be at work everyday for those kids. It s a shame when you go to your primary and all you want is an antibiotic to treat a Sinus Infection (all major viruses ruled out) and you get the it hasn t been 10 days since your worst symptoms so it s not bacterial answer so common place now. Each case should be considered individually, I m not a frequent patient and rarely on antibiotics. Didn t want any cough medicine with codeine! Just need to get well. At nearly 60 years of age, I know when I m sick and after 27 years of nursing I know the difference between a viral illness and bacterial, at least in my body. Family medicine just isn t very personal anymore.

Had to find a new doctor because I moved to Denton from Kentucky,Saw an ad on the phone that said Be Well Primary Care was taking new patients so I setup an appointment,met Dr.Crawford and discussed my plans for my health,and now Im scheduled to see a cardiologist cause I am a heart patient.The staff is very kind and courteous and the wait wasnt long.

The staff was great.....but I was Over billed. Bill at a level 4 and should have been a level 3. Doctor was not clinically friendly. Never mentioned or call me by name. Felt like I was just another patient or another number..$$$$. I was referred to this doctor by one of my by one of my specialty doctors who is awesome..... My first impression and feelings were not the best. Hummm... Just my opinion.

I found my health care home! After 18 months of looking for a primary care provider with whom to partner, I finally found that place with Be Well Primary Care. I explained to Dr. Kristen Crawford that we were looking for a primary care home and we spoke about her health care approach, resources available, and her general philosophy about the Doctor-Patient relationship. She was engaging and truly listened to my questions and concerns. The staff at Be Well was tremendous -- helpful, courteous, and professional, without being stuffy or condescending. The facilities are new and welcoming. Im glad to now be under the care of Dr. Crawford and the staff at Be Well. Im afraid if Id have waited until word got out about how awesome they are, there would have been no room for new patients! Five stars isnt enough for this exemplary practice. The only challenge will be for the rest of the Be Well providers to keep up with the quality of care provided by Dr. Crawford and the staff in Denton.
