I love the fact that this restaurant has a calm atmosphere, i might think of working for this restuarant for sometime when i get the chance...Well..To get that out of the way, The ramen is top notch but will give you the taste of ramen before you can get to japan to try traditional Ramen. Or even South korea for Ramyeon since this restaurant fuses with Korean ingredients, and Recipes; such as the Kimchi Ramen menu item. And i like the presentation of all of the entrées, and etc of what they have. The Curry flavour for the Curry Ramen is delicious and not too sweet, but i love the Takoyaki here. Not too perfect but just exactly right. We would come here again for a perfect all star rating of 10/10, and especially for the food.

Overall this place has good atmosphere and great food. We all really enjoyed our meals and the staff were friendly. The only thing that knocks this from a five star to a four star is the instant gratuity-for a family of six. Two of which is our one yr old and three yr old and myself, husband and two other kids. So five meals total and thankfully my husband noticed as he was about to add in the tip(which was also 20% same as the gratuity)otherwise we would have been paying 40% unknowingly. I get it why they might do this as so many either don t know to tip or how tipping works. Our waiter wasn t the greatest though very friendly. And the fact there wasn t any soap in the ladies restroom or a changing station for our youngest-isn t a massive deal though inconvenient at best. It s the instant gratuity thus taking the option to tip as we might have saw fit. Coupled with the fact that many may not notice this and tip on top of? Or maybe this isn t a common occurrence there and it was just because we had six in our party though only five meals were purchased. Idk overall I d still recommend just be aware that tip is very likely already included.

Wonderful friendly experience, open earlier than similar spots, and very convenient location. Even for just a quick lunch stop I was treated like royalty and will be coming back again for the delicious ramen! I had the Spicy Miso ramen and tuna roll combo, excellent value for the price and taste!

My family of 4 went there last night, we were greeted when we walked in, waitress Melissa T., immediately came to table to get our drink order. Food was outstanding absolutely delicious! We were very impressed, we ordered spicy edamame, tempura shrimp and two orders of chicken katsu rice, salmon sake, a wow roll, and boyfriend roll. All I can say is OMG delicious!!!! The sushi was very fresh, especially the raw, flavors on everything were just perfect! I love eating sushi, and I haven t found a good place in the 3 yrs living in Denton, until now! I highly recommend this place!! You will not be disappointed!!!! Our server Melissa T., was awesome, very pleasant! We will be returning for sure, now that I found my new favorite place to eat! Y all deserve more than 5

So the reason for my three star rating I came to the restaurant two days in a row I order the same meal both times tsukemen ramen with a ell roll the first day the ramen came to me hot packed a lot of favor and was rich 10 out of 10 the second day the ramen broth was luke warm not even hot enough to cook my noodles and veggies and lacked the favor I had go the day previous I couldnt even finish it.

I left crying. I came in and wasnt greeted. I sat down as the sign said and wasnt acknowledged. Another family walks in & sits. They are greeted & directed to a booth & got drunk orders in within 60 seconds. I am still not waited upon. Another family walks in, was greeted and drunk orders given within 60 seconds as well. Tonkatsu and curry are amazing, they have an array of other things that I love too, but it s what I ve consistently gotten over the 2 years I ve been coming here. The owners are extremely friendly and hard working, they always wave hello when I come in. I will continue to recommend people to this restaurant whenever they crave Japanese food. The quality of the food has always been great! Update: this is the location that the owners moved to from Kurume. If you liked the food that they USED TO Serve at Kurume, this is where its at!

LOVED the KatsuUdon dish. Pork was perfectly tender and so crispy and the udon was the perfect chewy and delicious texture. The only thing I had an issue with was waiting forever for my server to get my order and to leave. I was the first person in an empty restaurant and it took 25 min just to put my order in. Also, my menu was quite sticky and dirty as well as the table even though I had just watched them wipe down the tables. If I m paying this price I really do expect better service. But other than that, it s a great atmosphere and the sushi here is phenomenal as well.

This was my first time here, the food is great there but my service was not good. I asked for sake with my drink order, got my drink, ordered my food and got my food before i even got the sake. And when i finally got it, after I was half way done with my meal, its was incredibly hot, so hot I couldnt even drink it. I didnt drink 1/4 of it because it was taking forever to cool. We ordered gyozas as appetizers and they weren t cooked all the way through parts of them were cold. My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday over dinner. After a few minutes we were greeted by two young girls who wanted us to sit at the small sushi bar that had dirty dishes at it. We asked if we could sit at one of the empty tables instead but because they were also covered in dirty dishes it was too much work . They also claimed they would have to move chairs and tables around. Now maybe this is policy here but I didn t see any reason furniture would need to be rearranged. Firstly, atmosphere is amazing. The music is low enough that you can hear your conversation and be relaxed. You seat yourself and each table has sauce dishes with soy sauce. Appetizers: there is a large selection of appetizers. Please see image of menu. We had the gyozas that were absolutely the best. Ive had a lot of gyozas from hanabi, gens korean BBQ, and others but hanasato takes the cake! Meal: they have 4 pages worth of sushi and ramen. We had 4 sushi plates. The Las Vegas, the smokey bear, shrimp tempura, and the tornado. All of which were absolutely divine! The price is worth every penny and you will leave more than satisfied. Desert: we had a fried ice cream. Absolutely delicious! Try it and you wont be disappointed! This place has been on my radar for a few months now and I regret not coming sooner. This will be a repeat visit going forward!!! Please, if youve read it this far, spread some awareness about this restaurant so they can get more business! She did not keep us waiting with drinks and questions about the menu. Our food was served relatively quickly which we liked. The Udon was fantastic, with flavorful broth and soft noodles. The shrimp tempura was also crispy and fresh. The volcano roll to me was slightly disappointing hence the 4 stars instead of 5. While the roll itself was good, the toppings to me were a little overwhelming. I love onions, but there were so many I had to scoop some out. Also, the taste was not as fresh as I expected. Putting that aside, it s a nice place to eat with great staff and fantastic noodles.

I hate 0 stars isn t a option. Got my order wrong three times in a row ordered for three people like 6/7 items ordered. Each time order it came back with 1 item and cold. Pitiful. Would blame delivery app but all different drivers said the same thing that the restaurant told them to go and that s all we order. I m done

Food was great! Wish they had more waiters we got there right before a rush and werent able to get refills on our drinks cause the poor dude was slammed with a large party and a couple other tables. No knock though he did a great job other than the drinks and we will definitely be back.

Really enjoy this place. High quality sushi and stylish classy atmosphere at a decent price. Cali roll is only $7, but some of the special rolls are in the $14-15 range. This is my second time here, and I ll be back.

Not coming back. Never has the Salmon collar (please take it off the menu). Can you believe the pic? Its supposed to be Katsudon! Omg the waitress asks if youre doing Ok .... but is already gone before you have an answer. So annoying. Please dont ask if you didnt care...... Researching other Japanese restaurant to go to as you read this.......

I am not the one to write reviews, or really complain about a restaurant so take this strongly. The food is great and the place is always clean. However, the service is horrible. Have to ask for things more than once, repeat your order while they attempt to remember instead of writing it down, have empty drinks, and they messed up how we were paying. With the payment, they didn t apologize, and basically said you must pay in full using a different card after running four different transactions and voiding them out. They did not offer to make it right in any way rather than it ll be refunded brother. We love eating here, but after several issues reoccurring with service we would officially rather go somewhere else.

Expensive let down. This place was horrible for sushi, fish looked okay but the was super fishy. The imitation crab was the worst part and it was in everything. All rolls tasted the same never again. To be honest I m not sure why the reviews are so good very misleading. It s like they never tasted fresh sushi.

Maybe I went to this place on an off night? Our service was horrible, the roll I ordered was inedible - nobody at the table could eat it. Horrible food. The table wasnt clean, the establishment looked run down.

We have been here a few times now. The sushi is fresh. We like it...BUT we just left there and the wasabi almost tasted like nothing. I kept adding more to see if it would ever kick. It never did. I got a Diablo roll which was good and spicy so i know it wasnt my taste buds. The wasabi just had no flavor. I have had pure wasabi before and it is less spicy but more flavorful, this was not that. It was just bland. Like maybe they were trying to make it stretch and just added a whole bunch of corn starch and water or something. Idk what they did but whatever it is just stop. Do it right please!
