Vegetarian options: I like panner mandi more then any other place but atleast for every two weeks I went to eat but bad reality is changes of food quality worst food is masala dosa, gobi manchuriya which I got hair in it..but they make argument with me it s cilantro like that they think I m the fool..hopefully they get improve atleast next time and just requesting you please give respect and explain them with peace of mind because we spending lot of money

I had a great experience at Namaste Denton. The ambiance was warm and authentic, and the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the chicken and paneer Mandi , both rich in flavours and beautifully presented. The portions and prices were generous. Highly recommended for a delicious Indian meal!

Really good food. On a mission to try all of the new Indian restaurants in Denton, and this one is SO good. Gobi 65 is delicious, plenty spicy (spice level 5), perfectly cooked. Saag Paneer is also very good. The veg Momo looked just like the KL veggie gyoza...and my friend said they were excellent. So far this is one of my favorite new places to go. The restaurant wasnt too crowded at lunchtime on a Tuesday, but they seem to be doing a booming takeout business. Try it - we want this one to survive!

I have ordered Mutton mandi I had the worst mutton Mandi in my life mutton is not cooked well and it tastes different meat rather than mutton when I ask the server to replace it for redo the dish she said we won t replace or redo . She is very rude she is like eat if you want or leave from here worst experience in my life don t go to this restaurant. Server is a student I think owner is not there at the restaurant so she behaved very rude don t hire this kind of people

Food is generally really good. The help that the manager assisted in with delivery from UberEats was very fair and very honest. On that point alone, I will be loyal to this place. However, avoid the vegetable korma-packaged pre-frozen mixed vegetables. Butter chicken and Chicken korma-really good! The butter garlic naan is great, too, as well as the mango lassi (though a bit pricey).

The cauliflower used in Gobi Manchurian was stale and rotten. It had fungi on it and they dont even have a return or refund policy. Either they are too sure about the food they make or they dont care about the customers at all, according to the food they provided me, the latter seems to be right. I dont recommend this restaurant at all.

So my wife tried to order online and tried at least 6 times to order food but multiple cards were declined. So then she tried calling several times and it went unanswered. Finally she decided to go in and order the food because I was craving Indian food and there was no one in the restaurant so she had to go into the kitchen to call someone. There were only two people dining (but they were not eating so not sure). Anyway he comes out when she calls out and ordered the food and specifically asked for medium spicy as she s a white American girl ordering and guess what they made the food so so spicy that me as an Indian couldn t eat it. She did tell them that they wouldn t answer her calls nor was our cards accepted on line so perhaps the cook decided to be revengeful and make it so bloody hot that we couldn t eat it. I tried adding boiled vegetables but it was still hot. I m really disappointed in Namaste. They have competition around town now so we will try another Indian restaurant. As a business owner myself in Denton that was a pretty awful thing to do.

Update 14 June 2024 Ate Indo Chinese Szechuan veggie noodles and it is very good. So are the samosas. Service good...noticed they dont sell beer now. What is the reason for that? == == === Update 17 November. Went back again, tried vegetable korma and garlic naan...wonderful! Very tasty and they adjust the heat based on your preference. Will take wife there and daughter plans on going too! Glad they are here, nice to have another option for Indian cuisine. ========================= New Indian restaurant... I had samosas and Hyderabad veggie biryani. Ok for me but wife who isnt South Asian found it a bit spicy... Theyre just starting out so the usual settling in. Good selection and they also sell beer which is a plus for me. Personnel are very friendly...I had to switch from dining in house to take out and she was very accommodating about it. Only issue is parking but thats downtown Denton...nothing they can do about that, just be aware of it. Definitely going back again. Vegetarian options: Usual veggie versions of dishes.

I just ordered Hyderabad Mutton Dum Biryani. Taste is too bad and goat is not cooked at all and spice level is too low. They dont even know how to handle a customer who complain about the food. Instead they keep saying this is our taste and no one ever complained about it. I guess no one would have tasted the food here at Namaste Denton. Worst food quality, worst food taste, and worst customer service. I recommend not visiting this place. Not worth your money. I am absolutely sure that they dont even eat food at their own restaurant.

It took more than 30 minutes to bring the order only for appetiser and also after 30 a few minutes they brought Mandi and its not hot even the appetiser and also the Mandi I felt like they were using the old or Morning rice got bad smell with the Rice its not fresh ,I think they were making all the rice once at a time for a week and even for the extra raita they took 20 minutes to bring it worse experience ever never gonna come again and even for the Billing they took a longer time worse management ever .

The food was my favorite part of my dining experience. So tasty! I shared the Korma, samosa, and vindaloo with a friend. We both preferred the chicken korma, but both were delicious. The waitress warned that the chicken korma had chicken bones in it, which was fine. The vindaloo also had bones in it, so it was odd she didn t warn about that one as well. They both tasted amazing, but felt skimpy on chicken. The samosas were okay; much better with the green sauce (I ve forgotten the exact name). Without the sauce there wasn t much flavor to them. I loved the dishes used to serve the food, however, the odd mixture of plastic and paper serving dishes tainted the overall vibe. The samosas were served in a concession stand style paper basket, and the sauce was served in a to go ramekin. Our friends fried rice, which was split, was served in a plastic to go container while the curry and rice we ordered was served in these beautiful and unique serving dishes. The mix was weird. Water was served at room temperature and in bottles at the table; I would ve preferred chilled water at the very least. We dined with two other friends, who received their fried rice about 15 minutes after the curries and samosas were served. They sat and watched us eat since we had a hot food item. I didn t like that at all. The service overall was rather slow; we had to go up to the waitress to request the check after we were very obviously done eating. The bathroom smelled awful. There is a sign requesting to keep the door closed, and I m sure it s to keep the smell of sewage from wafting into the restaurant. It didn t smell like a temporary thing from someone dropping the kids off at the pool, it smelled like a plumbing issue. I m glad I didn t go to the restroom before eating as that may have spoiled my appetite. I ll definitely be returning for the food, likely just takeout next time.

I had a wonderful time at Namaste Denton in Denton, TX. Their veg and non-veg appetizers were both soft and crispy, and they tasted great. The butter naans and curries were delicious, but the chicken biryani could use a little improvement. The service was really good, and the staff made us feel welcome. Keep it up, Namaste Denton! I dined here on 3/24/24 with my 2daughters and had a HORRIBLE experience. First and foremost we were served the curry without the rice and the waitress promised to bring the rice shortly. Waited about 10min and I could see her standing at the counter unbothered. Waved at her for reminder and 10min later she brought the rice with no apologies. By then we were done eating the curry alone. I then ordered a beer and a different waiter doning hospital-like gloves brought it with no opener, I had to call for her to come open it, and again, she came doning the same soiled gloves and popped my beer open with her hands, no opener. We requested for 3 take-out boxes and were questioned why we wanted 3.There was 3 of us. Waiter brought 2 anyway and had to request for the 3rd which she brought with an attitude.I have never felt so unwanted in my life and definitely NEVER going back there.

If you come for dine-in in the evening, it will take 30 to 45 minutes to serve the food. The food is also not good; theres too much salt in the appetizer. The best Indian restaurant in the denton I noticed the girl Neha is excellent in managing the things in the restaurant. She has treated me in a polite and respectful manner. I am a vegetarian. I can say this is the best place for vegetarians as well as non vegetarian s The atmosphere is also beautiful with good Bollywood songs. Best place to for dine in/take away in denton, friendly staff.. almost like my second home there are days where I almost ate here a whole month, keerthi, neha and the chef are always friendly whenever I visit them, thank u all and best food in denton, when compared with other restaurants, 10/10 evrytime and would 100% recommend it.

This place is a huge mess, the restrooms and the atmosphere is not at all worth going there. The food sucks. Today in the buffet all the food items were very disgusting. they need a way better chef. This restaurant is not even worth of giving 1 star also.

Will not go again, highly encourage nobody else to go. One of the customers changed his baby s diaper on one of the tables in the dining area after eating while the wait staff watched. Very unethical and disgusting. Made me wonder about the hygiene standards in the kitchen. Avoid this place.

Ordered Chicken Tikka Kebab, a bullet naan, and a chicken. Saag off of DoorDash. Normally, you expect that Chicken Tikka kebab is normally boneless and chicken tandoori is typically bone in. It was bone in, but tasted good and was well cooked. The Chicken Saag had been substituted for a bone in chicken curry full of bone shards, cardamom pods and other inedible things and at an extremely high spice level - and I love very spicy food. It was also extremely greasy. The bullet naan was good. Plus points for the naan and the chicken kebab. Downvotes for the wrong curry arriving, the silly spice level to it and how oily it was. They should also declare what is bone in and what is boneless.

I ve taken out a namaste boneless chicken biryani from them. First of all , Food isn t fresh, they have only reheated and given the biryani ,in addition food is stale and unable to eat at the bottom of the container. To conclude, the biryani isn t worth of the money that anyone can spend here. I wouldn t recommend this restaurant to anyone Parking: Parking is horrible here

I wish this store was not allowed to accept doordashes. My rate goes down if I decline a pickup from this restaurant, but the customers that order from here NEVER tip. I am spending more money on gas than I am making. And the food always takes a long time to be ready, it s NEVER ready when I get there. That s 10-15 minutes of my time in store. I m working 30-45 minutes for $2!!! And the staff is not friendly or helpful. One time I went to pick up and they literally IGNORED me. And when I tried to talk to one of the employees, he walked back into the kitchen and never came back out. Please remove yourself from DoorDash!!!! I am trying to make a living!

Me and my family are not from Denton and we decided to come eat here and we are glad we did! We have had our fair share of Indian food from lots of places and this place did an amazing job! The food and staff were both amazing. I got the butter chicken which I would say is 8.5/10, my mom got the chicken korma 9/19, my dad got the biryani 8/10. Overall very good and yummy and I recommend :)

Namaste Denton is a go-to place for all the students in the Denton area. The food quality is pretty nice but I have been facing late service the last 2 times. We had to wait almost 45+ minutes to get the first biryani out of the four we ordered. The server brought each biryani at a gap of 10 minutes. All of us had to eat separately as the server didnt place the order in the first place properly. I would go to the restaurant again but will not appreciate them charging the service fee if proper food service is not provided. Vegetarian options: You have paneer biryani, veg pulao, chilli paneer, butter paneer, mutter paneer, baby corn Manchurian, garlic Nan and a lot more for vegetarian choices.

I am just a white girl with almost nil experience with Indian food... but it rocked my world last night! The flavors were incredible and the spice levels had us sweating happily. The portions were perfect (I just finished off my leftovers for lunch). We tried the Goat Curry, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikki Masala, Garlic Naan, and Samosas. We shared and there was nothing but praise all around. The place is quaint but I could see they are working to elevate the ambiance of the place. Plans to come back were made before we left.
