Not too impressive from the outside, but, stepping through the door, I knew I was in the right place! A bustling lively crowd taking every seat around a huge, two sided bar all with food. I cant say enough about how pleasant and attentive Amelia my server was! She guided me through picking a fabulous lemon drop martini, prim rib and shrimp crustini apps. The seared, Ahi tuna was a fantastic change of pace. Amelia was ever attentive, fun and pleasant. I highly recommend Kennys for a change of pace!

We are from Wichita Kansas, every time we go out of town we always want to try somewhere different. Especially something we don t have around us. We googled great places to eat, I noted a couple things I read about this place to my partner and he was all in, we got there pretty late(after traveling all day) I would say about 9:30-10pm. We didn t have reservations(def suggest making one on a Friday night) BUT we got to sit at the chefs table and I would def recommend to anyone coming from out of town or even curious about all the different meals they serve. Our eyes were so big from all the beautiful things we witnessed. The servers even took their time to make birthday messages on a dessert plate with their own creativity! Kelsey was awesome, she was so nice & welcoming from the start she made the experience the best. Y all are doing great!!! We WILL stop by everytime we are in Dallas!

We went a couple weeks ago to celebrate a homecoming/birthday and it was fantastic. Starters were great, steak was to die for, and dessert (piña colada and sopapilla cheesecake) was fantastic. The service was fast, attentive, knowledgeable and a charming conversationalist when asked which helped as we were new to the restaurant. Definitely will go again, I am living for more special events just for a reason to eat here.

We arrived at about 7:45 on a Monday and it was packed. The bar seemed to be full of regular guests. We had about a 15-20 min wait. The hostess made us feel special, and the food we saw coming out looked delicious. Everything about this place is classy. Our server, Brandon, knew exactly how to make the night special. This place is our new favorite for special occasions. Everything about the food was perfection. I had the carne aside special. Wow, Ive never had a carne asada steak that I could cut with a butter knife! My husband had the ribye and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything from the cesar salad dressing (properly & freshly made) with freshly baked croutons that had a soft center (crazy!), was magnificent. Soft, light & fluffy popovers! You should come just for the popovers. They ended the night treating us to a sopapilla cheesecake with Happy Anniversry written in chocolate on the edge of the plate, then topped it with an anniversary gift, a $20 gift card to come back! Wow. Great place. Cant recommend it enough. Loved Brandon. Will come back when he is working. Wish I had taken pictures of our entire meal. Go forth and experience it yourselves.

Insanely good food! I had visited here maybe 10 yrs ago and every time I was in town, they didn t have availability. On a recent work trip, I planned ahead and took a few coworkers out. We sampled the entire menu and they too were blown away by how good everything was. The drinks were strong and everything was cooked perfectly. We came here a few times in the past, but we came recently for my birthday and we had a great dinner. We had the oysters, dynamite shrimp, Hubs had the bacon burger, and I had the short ribs and it was all delicious! Honestly, I wish theyd do some type of half off oyster happy hour because the oysters really were the star of the dinner. Our server, Maria, was attentive and very friendly. The best filthy martini I have had in a very long time. To rival Charlie Trinkles (Allentown, PA) filthy martini is a compliment as Charlie spent the better part of his 75 years on earth perfecting all sorts of martinis with the filthy being his specialty. Kennys setting is dark wood with bright team members: hosts, servers and bartenders. My party of two went to Kennys for a post-work conversation and cocktail. We sat at the bar and Nikki took good care of us with the Grey Goose on-tap vodka and the outstanding filthy martinis. I went with the jalapeño stuffed olives - WOW! I am eager to get back for a sit-down meal at Kennys. If it is anything like my bar experience, I cannot get back here fast enough.

First visit, so glad we tried it! Service great- attentive, friendly, professional. Regional manager even came over to say hello and ask us how we liked our first visit. Restaurant is very clean (no greasy table, bench, or menus) , candle on the table, nice bar, open kitchen so you can see them cook, waitstaff is professional and they actually watch your table from afar to see if you need anything, staff opens the front door and welcomes you/thanks you for visiting. The food was delicious. We had onion soup, filet mignon, crab cake Benedict, iced tea. Everything fresh, scratch made, well seasoned, steak cooked medium rare as requested. Crab cake was fresh lump crab. We enjoyed the entire experience and will definitely return! Prices reasonable to us for the quality. Thank you!!!

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants! Not only is the food amazing, but the service is incredible too. The service was ok. Also didnt really like that there dont appear to be many private booths, if any. The place is tiny, and the table/chairs are packed very close together. There is not much privacy for conversations. With that said, the food was phenomenal. Between us we had steak, soup, bread, fries, a sandwich and mac n cheese at the table. Every single item was cooked to perfection. We will most definitely be back. Kid-friendliness: I visited with my 9 year old. He definitely enjoyed the food but I wouldnt say the place is kid friendly. More adult vibes.

I recently revisited this establishment, having had a great experience in the past. Unfortunately, this time, the food did not live up to my previous visit. I ordered the steak sandwich, and my date had the grilled chicken along with the Tenderloin Crostini. Sadly, the dishes were subpar and didn t meet the expectations set by our previous experience. On a positive note, the waiter provided excellent service, and the ambiance was as lovely as I remembered. Despite the disappointment with the food, I m considering giving it another try in the future, hoping that this was just an off night.

Kenny s is one of our favorite places! We love it for a date night and also order to go for date nights at home. Peggy went above and beyond tonight! She took great care of us with our to go order but then called me as I was driving home to notify me she had found my credit card on the sidewalk outside and that she was keeping it safe for me at the hostess stand. I am so, so appreciative that Peggy found it and that she went to the trouble to locate my number and let me know so I never went through the worry and stress of realizing I had a missing credit card. This is a great place. Be prepared - its small. 20-25 tables maybe. The food was awesome. They bring yorkshire puddings as the bread starter. I was there on a business dinner. We had crab cakes, oysters, rare tuna salad, short rib, fish, and more. It was all really great. The atmosphere is noisy. Half of the restaurant is a busy busy bar - so dont go here for a romantic or intimate quiet meal. Our servers were great. 10 out of 10 we will be back.

Kennys is ALWAYS consistently amazing, however, tonight was exceptional. Our server, Aaron, was beyond awesome! I ordered two martinis and had mentioned that I love a very chilled martini and Aaron made sure that my glass was chilled and kept chilled by bringing me a new glass mid-drink to keep it cold! He had the perfect timing and wasnt over the top, just great! My sea bass was cooked to perfection as was my husbands salmon. It was packed, so packed that we had to make our dinner reservation at 4:30 p.m. lol. Well worth it! This is for sure a hot spot and is worth the drive no matter where you live in the DFW area! Side note, Quinn makes a magnificent espresso martini!

Brought a friend here last week and enjoyed the experience! Sat at the chef s table (which really only allows patrons to see the server alley/food window and not the actual kitchen) but the food and service was fantastic. We ordered a coconut shrimp appetizer, the surf and turf with the ribeye and crab cake, as well as the redfish. Everything we ordered looked great and tasted delicious. I went here for the first time for a special occasion and was very impressed! Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, explained the menu to us, and had no issues with us asking for a few modifications. Everything we ate was incredible, especially the portobello fries, the filet mignon, and the creme brulee. Also the Leisure Time cocktail was incredible, so fresh and tasty. Had a bit of an experience taking out an order here. I called in an order and went to pick it up. After reaching my destination almost 15 minutes away, they called me on my cell phone and stated that they had forgotten to put the Cobb salad and steak sandwich in my to-go bag. Already being almost home in Lake Highlands, I was a bit perturbed. I had to make the journey back to Beltline and the tollway. They comped what they forgot and gave me a $20 gift card. It was def a nice gesture. Only issue was my filet had gotten cold so I had to put it in the microwave and my stepdads steak sandwich was just OK he said more than likely from the long time it had been made and me finally bringing it to him. It was my first time getting food here, and although my stepdad enjoys it, I highly doubt I will be back. Its sad when I place completely fumbles a first impression. Oh well, such is life. The filet, when finally at an eatable temperature, was quite good. The ham mac and cheese was also good. I did like the popover as well. I have a brownie that I will eat later.

We came here on a Wednesday night after 8PM and the entire place was packed - which was a good sign! The bar was full, but luckily we had a reservation and got to our table within 5 minutes. They specialize in martinis here so we tried a couple different ones and Wow! Definitely could see why almost every table had one. We decided to get the 16oz NY strip with adult mac and cheese & also the potato cakes. The steak here is phenomenal! What really blew me away from our experience though is the service. Our server was the absolute star of the show. Ive never had someone bring a frosty martini glass every half hour to help keep my cocktail cold - that extra step he took really was the cherry on top. Absolutely LOVED this place! My husband & I went for our honeymoon & our server, Devin was absolutely amazing. The manager was extremely friendly and kind. Hands down the BEST STEAK we have ever eaten. Crab cakes were phenomenal. When we come back to Dallas, we will 100% be coming back here.

Ive been to Kennys Wood Fired Grill a few times when Ive been in town. I have had the best service and every time the food is amazing! My favorite is the 1/2 lb Crab Cake... I eat it as a meal. If you like crab, this is like a pile of lump crab with a hint of some spices and other ingredients. And the sauces they serve it with are also scrumptious! You cannot go wrong with this dish. My husband had the redfish and to his surprise it had some shrimp & lump crab on top. He wanted more sauce, but if we would have asked Im sure they would have brought some. The redfish dish was very delicious! I also enjoy the drink offerings here. Im typically a wine drinker and they have a great selection of wine by the glass to choose from. They also make a bunch of drinks served in martini glasses that look fabulous and honestly everyone Ive seen order 1 is ordering a 2nd soon after so they must be good too. Parking: They are in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The strip mall has valet as an option for a fee.

I can only speak for myself here as my family had a great time and really liked their food. Personally, my ribs could have been a lot better for that price. They were well secured to the bone, And there was lots of extra bone still attached and ready to surprise me mid-bite. Spent a lot of effort working my way around bone to find the meat. But thats really just a stock issue and not a cooking issue. The sauce was quite good. The service was excellent. But it was very crowded and extremely loud. Like The staff that works there all day? They should definitely be wearing ear plugs. But nothing that couldnt be fixed by some vigorous baffling in the ceiling. We were there for a belated fathers day lunch so he had a great time and thats all that really matters.

Best dinner weve ever had in DFW! Every single thing about this evening was fabulous. We started with cocktails at the bar while we waited to be seated for dinner. The Pear Martini was amazing and the bar tender even poured my drink into a freshly chilled glass when it looked like my glass had warmed up. Then, we ordered the chicken and roasted Brussel sprouts. Phenomenal! Hands down best dinner in ages. We will definitely be bringing friends here and cant wait to try the other Kennys restaurants!

All of the Kennys restaurants are great and this is definitely the best date night restaurant out of the lot of them. Honestly it should be called Kennys Steakhouse because the atmosphere manages to provide that experience despite being in a retail location. They keep it nice and dark in there which is impressive given the amount of light that should be coming in.

So glad I was able to finally twice try this jewel in the fine array of Kennys restaurants. I tried most of the fine dining places in DFW area but this is the place I like the most. No order can go wrong here. Food wise I absolutely love it. As I tried everything in menu and exhausted the option, I always go with chef s special for the day and it never disappoints me. Multiple times I thought of leaving a review but never had the time. Today they showed they are hospitable too. Mariola was very good and attentive. There was a simple mistake in my order but they sincerely apologized and fixed it. I was very impressed by their customer service today. They could have easily brushed it off like most other places but I think they value everyone who dines in there and strive to provide good quality service.

I am sooooo done with this place! The first time I went 10 months ago there was a hair in my food and they apologized and gave me a gift card to make up for it. We were traveling through from Alabama and stopped in Dallas. We googled good restaurants and decided to pick Kenny s. The bar was Full so we sat at the chefs table. The food was so so good. And our waitress Felicity made us feel at home. Felicity even suggested some off menu items in which we ordered and took back to our hotel.
