We went there for a wine tasting. Our daughter recommended this. You bring your own food for these tastings, so we didnt eat any of their food. There was live music, which was nice. Had one TV showing all things in Texas. Very informative and interesting. A small place but has enough room to be comfortable. Has craft beers available besides wine. Will go back.

Beyond thankful I found Steves Wine Bar. It is the ONLY wine bar in the 20+ miles and well worth a visit. All the bartenders were very knowledgeable, I gave a profile of what I wanted to drink and they absolutely nailed it. Steve the owner was working as well, its always nice to see an owner actually involved. Live music was a cherry on top of a beautiful evening.

Holy cow. Talk about knowing their wines. The ladies knew about anything I had to ask them. Great recommendations were offered . Really cozy place. Nice leather couches to sit on in one area. Live bands play on the weekends at night. Small outside patios . Cigars are sold as well. Smoking outside only.

Steves Wine Bar is a Denton treasure. We just discovered it this year and understand he started it in 2016. We sure missed out on years of good times, but better late than never. Great live jazz, blues, awesome selection of wines, cozy, great atmosphere. Steve, his wife and his staff are very friendly, they get to know their patrons and its just a wonderful experience. And talented musicians. We love going there.

I ve only been twice, but I ve enjoyed both times. This afternoon, my husband and I enjoyed a bottle of viognier while eating Thai food. The owner (Steve) spent time talking to my husband and I, and the wine expert (Bryan) also came to discuss the wines. They were very friendly, and my husband and I really enjoyed our date here. It wasn t very crowded around 4:30-5:30, but the band was setting up. We were sorry to miss the live music!

My friend and I stumbled upon this gem when walking around downtown Denton. I recommend going and doing a wine tasting and get some dark chocolate We had so much fun talking with the wine gurus and getting recommendations on where to go next. One of the employees recommended the speak easy down the street. That is another for them!

Very relaxed atmosphere in which resides a knowledgeable, kind, and attentive staff with a superb selection of wine. I cannot recommend this location enough for anyone looking for a casual venue in which to explore a variety of wines. Additionally, this business is named Steves Wine Bar for a reason. Steven, the owner, was present during my visit and it was apparent that he is passionate about both wine and his clientele. It was my first time visiting, and although he had plenty of apparent regulars vying for his attention, he still spent time speaking with me and even recommended and poured a tasting of wine for me. I cannot recommend this place enough. As a young man, I find that most wine bars in the Dallas area are either pompous or not accomadating based on misconceived preconceptions of what I represent as a potential client. You will not find that here.As a plus, the live music is also great and adds to the experience.

I cant believe I have not been in Steves Wine Bar before in downtown Denton! My niece graduated from North Texas (4 year degree in 2!) and we had her graduation party there last week. What an adorable place! They had the back room reserved for the party, the room was colorful and had nice artwork and seating options. Perhaps it got a bit cramped with as many people who came to the party, but that was ok, still cozy. They have a really nice patio with string lights and had the interior decorated nicely for the holidays. The wine selection in the front room was good, they had a variety of options available at different price points. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The band that played that night was really good, I wish I had more time to sit and enjoy the environment, will def be back in the future! Great experience, I highly recommend!

You dont get friendlier staff (and owners!) than here at Steves they genuinely care about their customers and get to know people. Steve and his wife are the sweetest and youll catch them around often. I always have the best time here with friends, family or my husband and enjoy the live music they have weekly. Plus, they always have a great house wine option that is cheap for all budgets to enjoy (and good prices in general)! This has been and always will be my favorite wine bar, and so glad they expanded to the new location its huge!

Came on a Sunday when it was slow and quiet before a football game. Staff was so friendly and helpful (Wendy and Steve) that I ended up talking to them about hosting my bridal shower. We re planning on renting out their tasting room for the shower in May and I absolutely can t wait! The wines are excellent and so are the prices.
