Had an awesome time there Saturday night. Good football games on, on all their TVs. Outside the big screen was awesome. Plenty of seating. And the food trucks were delicious. My wife and I ate at the pickled carrot the food was delicious. We will be going back again Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food options for kids. It is a bar scene but didn t seem to crazy atmosphere wise very family friendly

Came to Eastside to celebrate my upcoming wedding. We had an amazing time until my friend was cut off, and kicked out almost immediately after arriving, and after only having one drink. I tried to implore as to why, and the only reason I received was the bartender just decided the guy looked drunk. I assumed it was because my friend looked eerily similar to my fiance, who was, in fact, a few drinks in. When my fiance and I went inside to close our tab, we asked the bartender why he cut off my fiance, he said because hes drunk while pointing to my fiance, who had NOT BEEN CUT OFF. He clearly couldnt differentiate between my friend and fiance. After I told him the truth about how he got my friend and fiance mixed up, he huffed and said not my problem. Have a good night and stormed off. Working as a bartender, I can understand cutting people off when they are clearly inebriated, but unable to rectify a poor call in judgement is callous and unseemly. Sad that what was supposed to be a good night, ended in such a sham.

The barehand with black bangs assumed my friend was drunk when he had only one drink and kicked him out, very unprofessionally. He was not at all intoxicated compared to others of the group. I will be letting everyone know about east sides discrimination.

Quiet is not the pervading theme. This is a bar with little to no wait staff- you que up at the bar for service. A LOT of beers with somewhat circumspect selection of better liquors. For beer drinking at the outside picnic tables in back, nails it.

Very interesting place. Tons of beer options. Well staffed, only time you wait for drinks is when they are busy. Staff is constantly clearing empty glasses. No wait staff you have to go to the bar for your drinks. Family and pet friendly. Food trucks out back usually 3 or 4 options.

Came here from South Dakota for a wedding excited to have a fun night. Got to east side got a drink and sat on the large patio. Went back in almost an hour or so later with my girl friends trying to get a shot and a beverage. Out of no where the bartender decided to cut me off. I asked if I did something wrong like falling or yelling (which I knew I didnt) and I was insecure that I did something wrong since Iv literally never been kicked or cut off from a bar. They explained to me that one bartender decided I wasn t ok to be served again therefore I couldn t ask why I was being cut off to be so honest I m writing this review as I got kicked out. As it was embarrassing and unnecessary. I was a good tipping and paying customer. They can show the records. I m not one to get drunk to the point where I get kicked out. There were MANY people in the establishment beyond drunker than I was. I asked coherently about why this was happening to me and they made me feel beyond stupid for asking why I m being cut off. He told me well your eyes are red I explained, well of course they are I woke up to travel here at 4:30AM.. I would never write a review if I didn t feel so strongly about how this bar treated me.

Awesome staff very friendly and chill. Plus our table accidentally got cleaned while we where at the bar and my wifes food got thrown out. They immediately asked her where she got it and grabbed her another really polite we didnt even asked them to do that just said it happens occasionally and grabbed it for her. Amazing place with solid drinks. The food trucks are great had bulgolgi burrito made my night.

I love taking friends here when they come visit from out of town. It s always a hit! El Cucuy Burrito, The Saucy Hibachi and Munchies are my favorite food trucks so far. I love the backyard atmosphere and not being stuck in a stuffy bar when I m hanging out with friends trying to chat.

Mexorean is the reason I visit east side and let me tell you, this is a top notch food truck! Everytime Ive gone I havent been disappointed, Id recommend the bulgolgi quesodillas and the kimchi loaded fries. This is a really cool place. Very expansive so you can bring large groups of friends. Excellent variety of on tap beers. I had a sour that was really good. I wish I could remember the name of it. It has a cool atmosphere with a fairly young vibe. I definitely recommend it.

Had a rare night out with my husband this evening. Wanted to try an establishment we havent been to before, being long time Denton residents. We both had one beverage a piece and when my husband went to order us a second round he was told we were being kicked out. Without explanation other than we have a bartender group chat and we determined we would no longer serve you.... My husband was upset, but we left cordially. Have absolutely no idea what happened. But will without a doubt never be back or recommend this establishment to anyone. A rare night out ruined without explanation. Q

I came here after work on Monday night, around 1 am. I had ordered food at the Saucy Hibachi food truck and went inside East Side for some drinks. I enjoyed their Yoohoo On Tap Cocktail. It was very enjoyable. Also, I tried their on tap green tea shots, but I couldnt tell a difference. It tasted fresh. Bartenders were very inviting, I sat at the bar and talked with them for a while. I will definitely be back.

Within .5 seconds of walking in everything was perfectly fine until a cracked out deranged white man with his hair tied back black hair was aggressively taking our orders immediately I knew he wanted us out and didn t like how we looked maybe he was projecting himself who knows but after hitting my delta pen (perfectly legal) he assumed it was weed without politely asking screamed for us to leave like we hit his kids even the other staff was shocked bro was acting out maybe he was itching for power or maybe he was doing it to impress somebody who knows we acted cordial about the situation even with the amount of rage he had maybe his dog died that day maybe he just got heart broken that day and his boyfriend looked like one of us who knows but it was terrible service from him alone everyone else was cool Ig.

One of the best bars in Denton. You can tell by how absolutely packed it is on a Friday or Saturday night. Yet they usually have more than enough bartenders to keep the lines moving when ordering drinks. Huge draft beer selection with your usual shots and cocktails as well. East Side has a TON of outdoor seating that is dog friendly. The outdoor seating is also surrounded by some amazing food truck options. Great place to come and try something new and enjoy a cool evening.

This was a nice place, we were here at 1 pm on a Saturday. The inside atmosphere was really nice. They had so many beers on tap. However most of the cocktails are pre-made. I dont know if that is a good or a bad thing. The outdoor space looked amazing but it was too hot for that on a Saturday at 1pm. They did have fans out there so it def would have been tolerable for most at night time or dusk. There was lots of seating in the back patio area with plenty of picnic tables. We didnt get to try the food as we had just eaten but everybody else seemed to enjoy. They did have live music that started at 3 and 7pm. We didnt stay to wait for it. This is def someplace we would visit again if we were close to the denton area. Parking: We had to look about 5-7 min for parking on a Saturday at 1pm.

Great place for beers and food trucks, just right off the square. It will get crowded, and smoking is allowed outside at the tables. The food trucks are great with some delicious choices. There were almost 80 beers on tap, which is a blessing and a curse - definite option anxiety. There is an outdoor bar setup with limited taps as well. East Side is definitely one of our favorite places to swing by for a beer when were in Denton.

While searching for a dog friendly lunch spot we decided to try East Side. The chill vibe was perfect for us and our Yorkies. We were welcomed in by Patrick who was awesome. Offerings include a huge variety of Whiskey, Beer & Scotch. There are several Food Trucks with more to come and a huge pet friendly patio equipped with TVs, games and heaters for those chilly days/nights. We were impressed by the service, The Pet of the Month Contest held on Sundays (sounds like so much fun) and the good quality food. The location is great for the college students in the area. Parking was easy and convenient.
