My favorite game at this location of Cidercade is POLE POSITION. If this game should stop working, I have my hopes held high that it will get repaired as a top priority, or have another well working unit just like it ready to take its place right away. Also hope it will not get taken away to another location or offered for sale. I will not take it very well if this should happen. POLE POSITION is a very hard game to find at a vintage video game arcade. The last arcade that once had this game happens to be a Cidercade competitor that I dont care to ever go back to. There are other reasons I will not go back to this other vintage arcade, but will not get into that here. This Cidercade has 2 other games I like. I would be delighted if they had POLE POSITION 2, SMOKEY JOE from 1978, HANG ON, the original red motorcycle ride on cabinet design from 1985, Wave Runner from 1996 fully functional by a commercial air compression system, or MOTORCROSS GO, a dirt bike riding cabinet simulating riding on a dirt trail making laps within a time limit. Another of my favorites is KENTUCKY DERBY, a mechanical galloping horse racing game with a realistic english padded saddle for the game player to sit in. I am being unreasonable, and unrealistic, because these games are either hard to find, or difficult and expensive to maintain and repair. Just want to be heard by the owner what my dream arcade would have. Cidercade is my favorite vintage arcade game place, especially since the incentive of earning points on every visit, that can add up to a free admission someday, or other incentives. Again, PLEASE DONT TAKE POLE POSITION AWAY.

The dallas location has really fallen off. I dont know if its a general change in direction or accidental. All the good arcade games have been replaced with interactive lousy games that cater to young children I. Would be appealing if they gave tickets or coupons like fruit ninja but without a reward it feels pointless. A bunch of things have been removed to make room for more inside seating so parents can get drunk and let the rugrats run wild. I used to love this location it was my favorite pass time had membership for almost 2 years, one 3 month gap in between visits everything has changed for the worse and memberships canceled wont be returning until it becomes focused on adults instead of trying to be chuck e cheese without the food and prizes.

Not a bad spot! Does get a little cramp in there with the way they have the set up. Alcohol and entrance is all one counter. Game selection wasn t bad. The food truck outside wasn t the best. Bought a burger and fries for 11.99, said it would be a 1.50 to add bacon, and my total came to 17 and some change. Wasn t the best food. In my opinion Freeplay is a much better choice! They have a kitchen, beers and mixed drinks! And a better layout!

Decent selection of games and great ciders. Only complaint is the entry fee being rolled in with the Drinks, which in turn leaves higher tip-out options. Therefore making my %20 tip $8 instead of $3 for the $14 in drinks I ordered. Otherwise the experience is always great as usual.

We were so excited to come back - last time we were here it was a clear 5/5, but they got rid of atleast 2/3 of the classic games and every non stern pinball game. It went from an awesome spot to something you could build from a catalog of new imported games and average racer games. Kids seemed to have fun, but the place had no spirit as a bar and arcade anymore, more like Dave and busters. The small ciders that were 2/3 full that cost $8 wasn t ideal either. If you are a pinhead, the sterns they have are all set to a very low level, the ball floats a ton. Quit after first ball on jaws because watching the ball hit a target and roll down the playfield for 3 seconds to the flippers every time is rough. No dmd games, no classic pins at all - new stern pros all the way down the line.

Used to be my favorite arcade in town but they restructured the machines and took out so many great machines to put in more Main Event style games presumably to appeal to a less hardcore crowd. So many of my old faves are gone. :( It feels a bit sanitized now and it sucks. The value is still amazing as well as the cider. Just wish there was less basketball/racing games and more to the older machines.

Wow what a nice little gem! My 3 boys 10-11 had alot of fun here for a friend s birthday party! The place is super spacious, clean, friendly staff. And best of all all the arcade games are free, included with the admission!!! These are newer games that you find in Dave n busters etc where you would pay $1-2 per round. I love it! And I really appreciate the bar for waiting adults!!! We had an outdoor area for the party. Would use a few fan out there because it got really hot and stuffy. Other than that. 2 thumbs up for all the busy boys and girls on hot summer day! If you have little kids I would recommend avoiding Saturday night, they open till 12am however after 8, this place is full of teenagers and young adults who s looking for a place to date, party, drink and hang out. With a full bar environment it s not the best place to bring your little ones. (Unless you need that drink )

A Night at Bishop Brewerys Cidercade Dallas has always been a city that knows how to do leisure right. Its a place where tradition meets innovation, and nowhere is this fusion more evident than at Bishop Brewerys Cidercade. Tucked away in a nondescript warehouse district, Cidercade is a cathedral of nostalgic indulgence and modern hedonism. For twelve bucks, you get a wristband granting you unlimited play on over 170 classic arcades and pinball machines. Its an oasis for the inner child in all of us, and a sanctuary for the adult who knows that fun doesnt come in half-measures. ### The Games Walking into Cidercade, youre immediately hit with a wall of sound: the beeps, boops, and clinks of arcade games that whisk you back to the halcyon days of your youth. The selection is a greatest-hits album of arcade history, from Pac-Man and Galaga to Street Fighter and NBA Jam. The pinball machines lined up like soldiers ready for battle gleam with the promise of tactile satisfaction. There s something delightfully analog in this digital age, a reminder that sometimes the old ways are still the best. ### The Cider But this is not just an arcade; it s a brewery, and Bishop Cider s artisanal beverages are the fuel that keeps this engine running. The ciders are a revelation. Forget the saccharine, mass-produced nonsense you ve endured before this is cider with soul. Each glass is a crafted experience, with flavors that dance on the palate. From dry and crisp to fruit-forward and aromatic, there s a cider here to suit every taste, each brewed in-house with the kind of passion and care that would make a sommelier blush. ### The Vibe Cidercade is a place where pretension goes to die. The patrons are a mix of grizzled arcade veterans, bright-eyed millennials, and everyone in between. Its a social equalizer, a place where high scores matter more than job titles. Located in a large warehouse, the space is expansive yet inviting. Neon lighting, reminiscent of the vibrant 80s and 90s, bathes everything in a warm, inviting glow. You could lose hours here and you should. ### The Food Food trucks, often a roll of the dice, are stationed just outside, offering an array of eats that perfectly complement the vibe. Whether you re craving tacos, burgers, or something more adventurous, there s a culinary chariot waiting to satiate your hunger. Its street food done right, adding another layer of delight to an already indulgent experience. ### The Verdict Bishop Brewery s Cidercade isn t just the best arcade bar in Dallas it s a reminder of what makes life worth living. It s a celebration of play, of craftsmanship, and of the simple joy of a night well spent. For twelve dollars, you get more than just unlimited games; you get a ticket to a different world, one where the only thing that matters is the next high score and the next sip of cider. In a city that offers plenty of ways to unwind, Cidercade stands out as a beacon for those who understand that the best kind of fun is the kind you can hold in your hand and share with friends. So, grab a glass, press start, and let yourself get lost in the magic.

I came here for a graduation party. It cost $12 to get in. This is an arcade where you pay to get in but all games are unlimited. It should have said all games are unavailable because majority of the games were broken or out of service. This is very disappointing especially since I paid for 3 people to get in and all we could do was stare at one another. The games that were operational the pinball machine, the arcade old school one player games , and the dance hero/guitar hero game. I understand things malfunction but all the dope games like skee ball, table hockey, hand held shooting games were down. I hope this gets better because this place had potential to be awesome.

So fun to see all the classic arcade games mixed in with current games. The staff is very kind. Their cider is awesome! So much to choose from. The space is large and clean. They have plenty of tables to sit at (inside and outside). The best part is you can bring food from anywhere and enjoy inside. We had dominos pizza delivered. On certain days they have a food truck parked outside. So that is another food option. This place is very popular. We avoided the crowds by getting there early on a Sunday. By 2pm it started to get fuller. We had so much fun we stayed for 4 hours!! Yep, I said 4 hours. Over all an awesome place. I just wish parking was easier there. My workplace group has come here a couple times, and theres something for everyone: old games and new ones (I played Cuphead for the first time), many pinball machines, basketball games, gun games, driving games. Most games are in great shape, though some of the classics show signs of meddling. (The Street Fighter II game I played had a character swap in the middle of a match which was quite a surprise.) And of course theres cider of many, many kinds, some sweet like alcoholic candy, some dry and grownup, and some in between, all made by the Bishop Cider team with plenty of creativity and quality ingredients. Food trucks are frequently at the venue so you can take a meal break between enjoying your game time. Plenty of places to rest a drink while you play.

Several games are old and they give me motion sickness when they have very low frame rate. I couldnt look for any new games and VR games. The smell inside is not good, the floor could be sticky, and this place is not really clean. When I stayed there longer, I lost my apetite and I felt dizzy.

A MUST DO IF YOU ARE IN DALLAS! My photos on this review are from two separate visits. I dont know how this place works... what I mean by that is clearly, they offer an amazing venue in hopes you drink cider but what I mean is... They change out and rotate the games around. I was there in October of 2018... visited again in January 2019. There were so many new games and options of things to do. I know there is a small fee to come in with unlimited plays but the entire venue is worth every dime to enjoy. A MUST DO IF YOU ARE IN DALLAS!

Fun spot with a ton of arcade games that all work! The place is well maintained and the staff are friendly. You pay for admission and then play as much as you want. Kids are welcomed until around 8pm. Lots of hard cider options, usually a food truck outside (or you can bring food in), and a nice outdoor seating area. If you re looking for a good spot to hang out as a family or with friends for a couple hours, everyone will love this place.

This establishment is dope and a must visit, particularly if you like ciders. My favorite bartender is Kat, and yes I simp for her. One cover, unlimited play on some awesome cabinets including old school ones, food trucks outside and 21+ and up after 8pm and great customer service. Youd have to try not to enjoy yourself!

What a great place to play arcade games for one price, and to sample some really great ciders. I wish they had pizza and other food, but there is no food service at this time. This is a fun noisy environment that kids can enjoy along with their parents. They have vending machines with snacks and sodas and usually a food truck of some sort outside. This place is clean and well maintained with a friendly helpful staff. Definitely a must visit place if you like cider and playing arcade games. Its well worth the price of admission.

Excellent place for good cider and games well into the night. Lots of variety in the free-play games AND cider options, and helpful staff for both. QR codes are all over for submitting issues with the games and theres someone walking around dealing with what he can and resting machines. Cider options are fun and all pretty tasty, with helpful bartenders to help you find what fits your tastes best.

Novel idea, imperfect but likeable implementation. Once you cover the door ($12), free-for-all arcade games. A bit of a warehouse, but a fun range from the original Donkey Kong to current Mario Kart. Bring your own food ( to the folks that brought Dominos). Poor food truck the day we went. Solid selection of cider, but nothing else (so it can get a bit too sweet).

This place is pretty nice. Alcohol & Acades blends nicely. Lots of cool people, even the bartenders. There arent too many parking spots especially, if you come on a saturday night. I have heard the bartenders trying to alert customers of nearby companies threating to tow their vehicles. This place gets a lot of business. If youre a hat guy like me there arent many hats in stock should you wanna rep a business you really like but there are several t-shirts, stickers & pins to choose from if you want a souvenir. This location doesnt have a kitchen but they often allow food trucks to park on the premises as to further service customers. Good business indeed. Overall I do enjoy my time here & I would definitely recommend this place. This is my 5th time coming here and I will most definitely be a returning customer.

This was a fun place. Would have liked to spend money there. My daughter paid the entrance fee. Was odd the little blue haired girl said we dont take cash, I said your losing sales, I guess she doesnt go to very many places told me most places are cashless. She didnt apologize or say it the bosses kinda had a poor attitude. I just found it odd they dont take cash but had a tip jar on bar with cash in it.????

Celebrated my nephews 39th birthday here with family and friends on an early Sunday afternoon (it was a Surprise Party for him and he loved it.) SO FUN FOR ALL AGES! Very reasonable entry ($12 each) with unlimited AWESOME arcade games of all kinds-- so many popular retro games and a Full Wall of PINBALL. Had two tables Reserved for two hours (no charge) and the host - his wife - brought in her own decorations, pizza and a birthday cake for the party. The adults really enjoyed the Bishop Hard Cider available at the bar, and some even bought a favorite to take home. Several of us purchased sodas from the vending machines. The Hot Toddy was a warm and tasty choice for a cold and blustery day, btw! Cidercade is definitely worth a visit. Great family fun at a reasonable price and a fabulous place for a party. Any party!!! In addition to our birthday celebration, the folks next to us were celebrating their engagement!!
