Great atmosphere, music, food, and beverages. The only difficulty was the food quantity. A couple of people at my table got the chicken lollipops, which are shown in the picture as four but only came with three, which is highly misleading. So if you order those, keep that in mind, especially the smaller portion, because itll probably come with two, and it also shows four in that picture, which is quite deceiving.

If you are looking for a grown and sexy atmosphere. This is the place to visit in Dallas. the DJ was awesome. He had the room vibing and he had us rocking in our chairs. everything was affordable food and drinks. service was great. it does get a little crowded near the bar. I would recommend getting a table early if you want to eat and enjoy your meal Parking: Free valet for this venue. And I loved that.

Me and my girls went here for Valentines day and it was definitely enjoyable. There service was a little slow, I dont feel like we saw or spoke to our server much but that could be due to the fact that it was a holiday. The food was amazing. Like everything we ate was good, except for the red velvet cake which was a bit of a bummer. The atmosphere was amazing and the DJ they had playing that night was awesome! Me and my friends spent almost the whole time dancing in our seats!

The food is extremely overpriced for what you get and the descriptions on the menu suggest you will get a magestic dish but when you get the food it is a huge dissapointment. I order a rotini pasta with shrimp and I got a side dish of pasta. This cant even be labeled as a kid portion. The service was good. All waiters and staff were very attentive and polite. When the check came, however, we discovered that we either had to pay cash or we had to pay with a card and get charged 4% of the total amount simply because we paid with a card. A total rip off. Wont be going back to this place.

I expected an upscale restaurant & lounge, instead this place had image/crowd of a night club WITH NO STANDING OR SITTING ROOM. Literally, we were physically touching body-to-body.Extremely too many people in this SMALL venue with only one way IN/OUT.We made reservations & called before driving a hour away, to pull up to NO VALET and an hour wait outside.The virtual tour was totally opposite of the view IN PERSON (aesthetically; ladies restroom was NOT clean).We never got seated, food, NOR a drink. Security, guarding the door, was RUDE as well as the patrons. This atmosphere was NOT it for a night out.This visit was a waste of a drive & time. 2 stars

The menu drew us in and did not disappoint. The food and service and space are all phenomenal. The music is also fine/good. It was not about the music selection, however, the music was blaring. We arrived around 8 and it was sort of loud - not quite unbearable. A DJ came at 9 and turned the music up and up and up! Louder and louder! So loud you had to shout across the table to be heard. Someone should let the DJ know how to read the room. It was not only the DJs fault - someone at Felix Culpa has to be in charge. I wondered who would think that this level of noise is ok? Pairs of girlfriends/couples were about the uncrowded restaurant. There were only maybe 6-8 ppl in the entire place. A few singles and one couple were at the bar. Anyone trying to have a conversation had to leave. Turn the music down!!!! I would love to return if they turn the volume down about a thousand decibels. The volume in the restaurant, Im certain, is why the restaurant was empty. It is too bad, bc the chef is excellent.

Beautiful ambiance !!! Great music!!! Amazing drinks even though they were out of the watermelon Red Bull. I was pleased with the Ladies Know Best. However, I feel people should be mindful that this is more of a restaurant. It has a classy feel. The only reason I give a 3 is because of the waiter. We had a large party he was not engaged or attentive. I was the first to order and the last to get my meal. Mind you I ordered pasta so I was highly disappointed. I ended up taking it to go. The food was delightful. Also, be advised that large parties are charged on one ticket. I will return and hopefully, I can update my review.

where do i even start? first, the music was too loud as soon as i walked in my friends and i were screaming @ each other the entire dinner second, my husband ordered salmon, but the corn underneath smelled & tasted sour like it went bad, but they cooked it anyways third, when i asked about my entree, server said they overcooked my steak so they had to start over except, he was freaking out @ the kiosk so clearly he forgot to put it in when everyone else finished their meals, i never got it, either so i just told him to forget about it lastly, 1 ticket only? do they realise that makes it harder for their own servers? lmao this place won t last. it s trying to be trendy, except it s time to quit

Food was slow to deliver and sides arrived 15 minutes after main dish. Had the shrimp rotini pasta in a pesto sauce dish. I should have known something was up when they told me ordering steak only came in 2 options: medium or well done ...as if to imply the meat was already precooked.....And it was already cooked!! Went on Thursday Latino night, and it was not delivering. A white DJ playing 1 Karol G song, was as Latino as it got, no bad bunny. Service was under par for being Abby s only table. I get it s Thursday at 8:00pm, you re trying to conserve your energy, but we came to party, we came for the vibes, the whole party TikTok sold. And it under sold for the high price. We got a bottle of champagne with two flash lights and that was as hype as it got. And we got several items in all courses. Would ve loved to enjoy this place, but got our hopes up for a high price. They brought out a busted cake in a Cartier box that the icing was melting off and the sad whipped cream Abby tried to put around the cake. Completely unpresentable and poorly served. Only after complaining to Abby about it did we get a manager to our table. And he was fabulous in hearing & offering a solution to our issue. If only he could ve served us or anyone else for that matter would I have felt we would ve had a better experience. Unfortunately I wouldn t return.

Felix Culpa is unmatched. The food and drinks are amazing, really pretty atmosphere too. But what really keeps me coming back is the incredible staff. Aaron is A GEM, never let him go! I have celebrated every big life moment for myself or my friends here for the last three years and he has always taken care of us. Mimi was our waitress last night and she was also really incredible. Great experience all around. Environment was trendy with a pop art flair. The tables were spaced far enough apart that we didn t feel claustrophobic and could maintain conversation with our table mates. All of our dishes were well prepared, drinks were tasty and the prices fair. The staff were very friendly, from our waitress Madison, the bartender Lauren and the owner Max. Made reservations to celebrate a surprise birthday party. We had a great time. Everyone was super nice from check in to our waitress, Jessica. The food was phenomenal and the drinks were good and strong. We had 10 people so a service fee (aka gratuity) was added; which was expected and listed on their website. Our waitress deserved every penny. Our reservation was at 9:30p right when it turns into an afterhours type vibe so we got the best of both worlds. Perfect for a night out with the girlfriends. Fun and girly, with not so loud music, I would definitely come here again. Unfortunately we didnt get seated until 30 minutes after our arrival/reservation time, but I think that might have been due to our one friend who is habitually late (theres always one in every group). The food took a bit to come out, which is weird with such a limited menu. We ordered: 1. Sun Powder Frites - really nothing special just ordinary fries that they charged $10 for the size of Chic Fila medium fries. 2. Roasted Rustic Potatoes-these were much better. I would order these instead of the fries. Again, the portion was very small for $11. 3. Brussels Sprouts - these were pretty good. I cant complain, and for $12 it was a much better option than the first 2 items. 4. Caprese Fundido - one of the first items we ordered but one of the last to arrive. I would have like to see it hotter when it arrived and without onions. The taste was a little bland so ask for some salt. Also the bread was a little cold as well. Maybe our waitress forgot our order. 5. Classic wagyu sliders - didnt taste like top wagyu but pretty tasty nonetheless. 6. Seared Salmon - I had these with #2. I love that it didnt smell fishy, but at the same time it was a bit overcooked and could use a little more seasoning. It comes with corn and black beans, but that didnt highlight the salmon. While the food was okay, the drinks were much better. 7. Red bottom - this wasnt my drink, but I had a blast singing happy birthday to a friend that hates attention (especially when its not her birthday). 8. Smoking gun - pretty decent. Order it at the bar so you get to see how its prepared. 9. Holy grail - I love this. It reminds me of yardhouse pineapple mule. If you like Moscow mules, youll love this. Its basically a strawberry mule. 10. Small talk - this was good if you dont like how sweet mule are.

Chose this place to celebrate my bday. Considering where they are located the valet definitely came in handy. The staff was friendly, including the owner. I tried the Coco Chanel drink and the Red Bottom. Id give both a 7 out of 10. The steak, sliders, cheeseboard, and fondue were all phenomenal and I would order again. Dessert wise the caramel apple Cheesecake was delightful and I would highly recommend it. If youre looking for a grown and sexy vibe for date night or to celebrate I would highly recommend. Its comparable to that of XOXO restaurant just a more laid back and mature crowd. Courtney and the owner, I forgot his name took great care of my friends and I for my bday. This is a great little quaint place. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the staff was quite friendly. It is a little pricey but worth it. We were told that it turns into a bar around 9 or 10 PM and can get really loud. So if youd like a fun place just for happy hour with friends, this is the place. Parking is difficult unless you use the valet.

My girl friend and wife and lifelong escort absolutely love this place. It s fun, romantic, eclectic, non-judgmental, with an electric vibe, just the right lighting, smooth mood and music to always make for a great night. The DJ is amazing. The food is scrumptious and fast. The bartenders are cool and generous in their pour. The crowd is upscale and sophisticated chic like the place. We love it! Parking: Great valet service.

Nice experience but won t do dinner twice maybe brunch one day bc I love brunch so I may not do it hate being disappointed. Idk I think of family style serving and think larger portions but that s just me. Staff super sweet!!! Table for two small as heck for family style serving. Went here for my friends birthday dinner, and everyone had a wonderful experience! The decor is gorgeous, the wait staff are friendly, and the food is delicious. We ordered most of the items on the food menu (minus a few of the more expensive ones) - and found just about everything to be very well done. The standout dish was definitely the lamb chops though. The glaze tastes smoky and tangy and it complimented the meat very well. The worst thing was the Ahi Tuna Poke, however it was still 6/10. The tuna was marinated too long, which made it very soft. If youve had good poke in Ktown, you know what good tuna poke texture is like. But I digress... The wait staff were very friendly throughout the entire meal, giving recommendations when asked. Our only complaint is that, after 10pm, the lights dim (from their already dim state) and the music gets much louder. During this time, our waitress seemed to forget about us for extended periods of time. This was at the tail end of our meal, so it wasnt the end of the world, but we did end up having to flag down a busser to find our dessert, and then again in order to receive the bill to pay. All in all, I highly recommend Felix Culpa as a wonderful place to celebrate an event, or a date night with your significant other. 9/10 (would be 10/10 if our waitress hadnt been so absent at the end) Parking: Free valet parking up front

Came here for the first time on Saturday to celebrate my bday and I was so impressed with the gorgeous ambiance of the place! Every section of the restaurant had plush seating and beautiful decor. I loved the little corner in the front with the lagoon background. The chandeliers were jaw dropping too. But on top of that, it was excellent service and our waitress was so attentive. We only tried 2 things off the menu, but they were both very good. Made a great date night!

Cool place, freezing AC... All the ladies were freezing at the table... Price was steap but quality was good. Desert was fun... Overall good vibe. Your circle booth table must be the worst design made as you can not sit comfortably at a 90degrees backrest. People who easily get cold or have back pain will not come back.

First timer experience: Very nice ambiance; dim lighting & glam-like decor. Food was delicious. Most items are a la carte. Sides are served family style. Drinks were okay. Bartender couldve had a looser hand but they did taste pretty good. Service was also pretty nice. I would definitely recommend for date or girls night or just some self-care time alone.

This is either a nightclub disguised as a restaurant or the other way around. I m not sure. The vibe was hard to read at 7pm on a Saturday. The food was on par with a nightclub that serves food. Nowhere near the level of prior occupants of this space like Hibiscus. I miss that place. But if you re looking for a cocktail served with a sparkler in it, Felix Culpa is for you.

I really really wanted to like this place. The old restaurant in this space was amazing. The food is so BLEH. the drinks are just barely okay tasting. The desserts are frozen awfulness. They have some fun things on their menu that are super instagrammable which is why they are still around. But now I understand why we were able to get reservations so last minute. I post this honest review in hopes they get a new chef and make this place what it could be. Now I will say our server was so sweet and attentive!! Sigh. I really did not enjoy this place. I will say the waitress Maddie was very nice. She gets 5 stars. 1. The area was super cramped. I could eat off the table next to me. 2. They have a $25 service fee for failure to cancel or no shows. I understand a fee but $25 is steep for this place. This is no Bobs Steakhouse 3. Ill give a second star for complimentary valet. But they kept skipping over me when I tried to hand them my tag at pickup. 4. Did I mention its small. Like you couldnt even walk to your table without bumping into people. 5. Music is way too loud. I couldnt even think straight. 6. The food was subpar at best. Definitely not worth the prices. 7. Way too dark. Like geesh.

The perfect spot to celebrate! I got to visit this amazing establishment with friends this weekend, as we were celebrating one of our friend s birthday. This place was lit, to put it simple. The aesthetic is gorgeous; the chandeliers they have inside this place are so beautiful! Kudos to the staff, as everything is clean, organized and very chill. My friends and I danced the night away and we even got to dance with other folks who were there having a good time, too! The music selection was great, restrooms are clean, the crowd that was at this location was on the classier side. My friends and I got to dance, drink and enjoy! No drama or ratchet people were there to ruin the vibe. The vibes in this place are super fun! I definitely would celebrate at this place for my birthday! It is on the smaller side, but one of the finest places I ve partied in Dallas. Worth checking out!!

The manager didn t apologize but had the nerve to say it s on the website. Not acceptable because the men over the phone did not go over the policy. This place is absolutely beautiful, the ambiance is amazing and the whole set up is great. We ordered some of the tapas and we were quite disappointed. We ordered the sweet potato puffs (basically tater tots), baked ricotta (no good flavour, too much black pepper and the texture was very odd), saged chicken lollipops (looked incredibly burnt, the server said they re supposed to be blackened but the photo on the menu doesn t look that burnt but also not much flavour), and wagyu sliders (the only item that we somewhat liked- nothing special, just standard little burgers). Worth coming to once for photos.
