Top notch service the way its supposed to be done. The staff is very attentive and goes out of their way to make sure you have a good time. Drinks are kept full, questions ofdo you need anything or is there anything I can get you are always being asked. They have a great menu but have no problem making it the way you want it. The food was very very good. Ive never eaten here before but the food rivals any seafood place around. The portions are plentiful and you will not leave hungry.

We had a late night and went in right around closing time, but our waiter Charles still treated us super nicely and made sure we had a great dinner. This was our first time visiting and will definitely come again! The food was well seasoned and filling. The atmosphere was cozy and bright! I have allergies to black and red pepper. This place made me a spice free dinner, fish rice and veges, and my dinner came out with all the people that were with us they are fast too.. I love this place. Our waiter was Levi he was great. We never had to ask for anything, and he made sure my dinner was correct ..my dinner was wonderful

Food and atmosphere were great. I ordered pecan-crusted salmon and it was delicious. The problem was the service. Facts: I invited friends to dinner. I picked this restaurant. Upon being seated, I made it expressly clear to our server, Charles, that the dinner check needed to come to me. He said, Yes, maam. Then a male friend said, No, the check comes to me. Charles smiled and left the table. At the end of our meal, Charles returned and handed the check directly to the male, instead of to me, then he glanced at me as if to say, Sorry, hes the man. I was embarrassed and felt humiliated. I am absolutely furious about Charles poor, unqualified decision, and I will never return.

I picked up my friend from her job. We went to eat at Rockfish before I took her home. I had never eaten there but I can say the food was great. I had the fried shrimp basket. I would have liked the french fries a little crispier. The jalapeno hush puppies were very good, not too spicy. I like to taste the food, not all the heat, If you know what I mean. Dietary restrictions: The food is, I believe, Cajun based. I have no dietary restrictions, so I did not really look for options. Kid-friendliness: It could be kid friendly. Awfully disappointing. Started off with a terrible watered down martini. They tried again and it was frothy like a tropical drink. Canceled the martini for a glass of tea. Our food arrived quickly and was lukewarm. The kitchen is often the problem with cold food, but a good wait person can tell from picking up a plate if it should be remade. The bottom of our plates was room temp...no warmth at all. We tried getting the attention of the wait person with no luck. My friend literally reached out to stop a man who turned out to be the manager and asked for hot gravy for her shrimp and biscuits, which was delicious with hot gravy. The manager did offer to do something for us, which we declined...we just said be better next time. But there wont be a next time. I paid in cash, and instead of bringing the change, the wait person kept the change. Such bad form

Oh my goodness! When I say this place is EXCEPTIONAL! The moment we walked in, the vibes were welcoming and bright, not too loud and we were greeted by Mary right away and seated. She was so kind and friendly.. Our server was BOSTON! AND Whewww she is such a cool lady! She was kind and informative, and took our orders right away. I ordered the fried shrimp poboy. It came with crispy yet soft fries, and the shrimp was lighted coated, and so delicious. The vegetables were fresh, and the bun was warm, soft and When you closed the sandwich it was the perfect pocket to hold onto. I also ordered a side salad that was delicious, also fresh, and came with just the right amount of toppings. I recommend the Herb vinaigrette for dressing. Customer service is top tier, the food is top tier, and overall a very nice place to dine ! 10 out of 10! My colleague recommends the Dirty Tanqueray Martini if you like to indulge in alcohol. He said it was very good, and also made by Boston! We will definitely be back !

I have been eating at Rockfish for many years. I ve always enjoyed the food and had have great service. Today I tried the Rockfish in Richardson. I ordered the boiled shrimp. I noticed that it had an odd taste and texture to it so I asked the server for some help. She was very pleasant and promptly brought out another dish. Unfortunately, this dish also had the same taste and texture. I paid my bill and tipped well, as usual, the server did a good job. I later called and spoke with the manager on duty, I believe his name was JR. He was pleasant on the phone and looked into the situation. He called me back a short while later, saying that he had had the cooks prepare the same meal that I had with the same ingredients. He stated that the food tasted fine and he could not do anything for me. I try not to complain, but I feel the need to voice my opinion on this matter. This matter could ve been handled much better. I am guessing that the manager is a newer manager. I will continue to go back to other Rockfish locations, just not this one.

I have seen the Rockfish Seafood Grill for years at the Campbell and Coit location and never been. Finally stopped in because the family wanted seafood and was very impressed. Food was very good and reasonably priced. My Cajun Pasta had a very generous portion of seafood and sausage. The Asian salad with Ahi tuna had a wonderful flavor. And the Santa Fe Tacos (grilled shrimp) were also tasty with much larger portion sizes than I was expecting for the price point.

I tried to ask about accepting service dogs but they were so busy never got an answer, until I say down in the bar tables in the back near patio to stay away from restaurant area. This one person was not professional and you need to update employees about service dogs You can not ask for any info if the dogs are trained to come in anywhere even a plane. Let your staff know to invite them to the bar table, which were great But as I know is that service dogs do not have to wear any formal vest. It was 92 degrees and humidity was high. No way were to sit outside. Just have them look up service dogs behaviors. Mined you they were calm and iwell behaved. If want to not allow dogs that allowed everywhere The other thing they got me was, that we order a soup and the soup 2 entrees came out at the same time Really, they dont not know that salad and soups are to be served before entrees.i know finding workers are hard

This wasnt my first time at Rockfish, however, it was my first time at this location. I mentioned that to the hostess, and she said they were the friendliest. I think she was right. Because she came out to our car to greet us and make sure we got the proper seating for our mom who was in a wheelchair. Our waitress was sweet and very accommodating. The chef came out to explain something about my order....everything was good once I got my seasoning situation taken care of...lol...they took care of me! Great atmosphere and customer service. Unfortunately, the food had no flavor. I ordered the shrimp, corn, and potato special for $8.99 (Cajun flavor) However, there was no flavor. Food was good, but no flavor. It tasted like someone cooked everything and just put it into a box. Even the liquid at the bottom of the box was mostly just water. As you can see in the photo, not much seasoning either .. the potato tasted like it was baked and nothing else done to it.I feel like what I ate was just cooked and any seasoning was 90% water. It s also interesting none of the negative reviews get any sort of response. Not even a Thanks for trying our food, sorry it wasn t the best experience for you. Let s make it right / we will take your feedback into consideration .

This is by far the worst tasting fried seafood I ve had this side the Mississippi. The loaded hush puppies and fries were the only thing I was able stomach. Very disappointed.

We dont get to visit as often as we used to, like we did when Rockfish was at Park & Preston. But we still try to get over to this location whenever possible to see Lynn and get our fill of the luncheon fried shrimp basket! Always a good time!

Very clean & open restaurant, no wait. Waitstaff was efficient & attentive. We split the large fried platter between two people. It was fine but definitely not the best Ive had. Its just your basic run-of-the-mill fried fish/shrimp/oyster dish served with french fries. I wasnt impressed by it and Ive honestly had better flavored fish from even Golden Chick. Its like it lacked salt or seasoning. Even with the addition of any dipping sauces it was kind of bland. I actually left a little hungry still, wish I had at least tried the chowder, side salad or something else because the platter was not fulfilling to me (but Im a big eater to begin with).

Today we could not resist going back to Rockfish Grill. We did ask for Emily and it was such a delight. She is just as efficient as we noted last week in the review below. Emily made our dining experience fun and enjoyable. Thank You Rockfish Grill for having folks like Emily taking such good care of us. We definitely will come back and ask for Emily again. Donna and I enjoy his Grill. We love seafood. What made our visit Special was Emily T.! She is so efficient; she almost anticipates what you want, refills, anything before you even say it. She is friendly and makes you feel at home. We will ask for Emily the next time. Rockfish Grill is fortunate to have Emily as your Good Will Ambassador! Some Staff are efficient, but to make your guests feel welcome is a great Thing. Emily makes you feel like a good friend! Parking: Free and easy to get in and out!

All I wanted was their fish today if you order through Uber or dash the restaurant will not take any responsibility. The hostess did not come to think and the manager today dose not care my loaded potato s were not loaded no garlic no chives and burnt fish thrown in there horrible! One the problem is that folks are hiring mean people

Such a great value. The food here is very good and deserves your attention. Came here for dinner after greeted with a 45 minute wait at another place. Walked right in and was well cared for.
