I stumbled upon this restaurant after leaving disappointed from the Chipotle across the street, what a HUGE DIFFERENCE! Now we ve become repeat customers and so far every time we come we re greeted kindly and our food is prepared promptly and precisely, not to mention the taste is absolutely delicious!!! I will be recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. Great job to the staff for raising the bar!

This was amazing!!! I kept seeing this restaurant on door dash and decided to come in for myself. I love how the cooks greet you when you walk-in. It s like they acknowledge you as well as the people in the front. The beef was the best part, especially with the white sauce! The place was super chilly just how I like it lol. Will definitely bring a jacket next time.

I m very disappointed in my experience today. The guy on register was extremely rude and aggressive with the employees there and made me feel very uncomfortable. When i had asked the lady who asked him to drop me some wings he gave a very dirty look and made a rude comment.

First impression when i opened the box: meh, neat presentation but look bland...but omg it was so tasty...way way way better than gyro hut and gyro king. Order one day before to pick up qt 3pm. They re incredibly nice and clean. My experience was nothing but positive! I do wish they would make more meat.. wait time doesn t take long at all though, so that s good. They offered me to sample some of their meat to find my preference and I ended up liking the barbecue chicken. Will come back.

I recently tried The Halal Guys located in Pearland, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The flavors in their chicken and gyro combo over rice were simply amazing, and the portion size was very generous. First time trying this restaurant. Very clean establishment with friendly staff. They took the time to explain the menu and offered free samples which helped a lot with figuring out the right combination for my platter. Beef gyro and chicken! Caramelized onion hummus puts the regular platter on another level. Think of this menu as healthy comfort food.

Love the aroma in the restaurant when I opened the doors. The aroma whetted my appetite. I ordered the small and regular beef gyro platter. The beef was thinly sliced but the portion given was very generous. The veggies given were also plenty. The rice tasted good too. The platter was delicious. It is a must to add the white sauce in the platter. I love their white sauce and hot sauce. The white sauce paired very nicely with the meat. Their hot sauce is legendary. For people who can t take spicy, just a dab of the hot sauce will do. Staff were very friendly. The wall paintings showed where The Halal Guys started out. The drawings are eye-catching. There are plenty of seats in the restaurant; great for families and casual eat outs.

My husband was craving a chicken gyro and a quick google search brought us here. He had the chicken sandwich and I had the falafel platter. We ordered to go, but the dining area looked decent enough. Had an amazing experience, marcelen (which I m sure I misspelled) was absolutely wonderful made my beef gyro platter perfectly- not only I but my 1 year old devoured it with enjoyment. I want to preface this by saying that the workers here are always super friendly and helpful. The food is always tasting fresh and delicious. I ordered here every month or so, but have recently noticed the portion cut in their platter which disappointed me. I always ordered the regular size in which, previously, approximately half of the plate is packed with the rice and meat. I thought this was fair. Recently, it seems less than half of the plate is filled with the rice and meat. Most of it was stuffed with the lettuce and tomatoes. The rice itself also was lower in depth, it was like they just pat and flatten the rice just to cover some procedural surface area that maybe theyre required to fill, but it lacked volume. The same applies for the amount of meat they give now which used to be generous. It seriously feels like the regular size can fit in their smaller size order if you subtract the excess lettuce and tomatoes they give.

I know a lot of people like this stuff but I can only compare gyro and shawerma to the ones I have had in middle east and Turkey and many so called gyro and shawerma spots in Houston and some other cities in US. Heres the deal, if you dont have the meat served by carving it thin right off the vertical spit, then sorry to say it is NOT a GYRO or anywhere near a SHAWERMA. Secondly the pita bread needs to be real pita bread not the make shift pre-packaged ones that have a yeasty smell and a totally different texture compared to real pita or shawerma bread. The problem with Halal guys gyro is multi fold. They pre-grill the meat and cut it very thick almost like a fajita and then store it in warm pots before it gets served. Then they drench the meat with so much sauce that the actual taste of meat is lost and rightly so cuz in many cases I found the meat to be not seasoned properly and lacking any flavor. Then the pita bread they serve is not anything like pita bread. So in all if you like fajita meat drenched in sauces then you will like this but if you ever had real gyro or Shawerma in your life, then this is not the place for authentic stuff.

Having moved to Houston from NYC 7 years ago, I sometimes crave Halal Guys, the dedicated street meat that allowed me to have cheap, delicious lunches. This Halal Guys transported me back to those days! Employees are trained not to skimp on white sauce, which is a must add in excess to get the true NYC experience. One criticism I do have is that the Falafel is inconsistently cooked, though I can tell its time fried. The falafel I have gotten is cooked on the outside but has a raw chickpea taste...I know it wont kill me but having to wait for it to cook already for several mins and complaining afterwards might be grounds for you to be public enemy no. 1 Vegetarian options: Falafel Kid-friendliness: No actual kids portion but if youre gonna get food for kids, do not get their hot sauce.

Completely junk. The other positive reviews must be fake written by friends of the owners. The falafel was burned and tastes like a tea spoon of cumin. The hummos tastes like it came out of a can. The chicken just lowest quality ever. There is nothing middle eastern or Mediterranean about this place. Complete disaster. And the owners know it.

My transaction was $12....when the transaction cleared my debit card i had been $17.84.....all I had was the regular beef platter....and I tipped $1.05....but magically I was overcharged $5....I will not be back....make sure to get a receipt from these crooks

All the staff were very friendly, the food was great, I dont know what happened to them but I went in today 04/18/2022, and the staff was a bit rude, and in a rush also, the food was salty, and when I asked for more white sauce was told there would be a charge I dont carry cash and didnt want to charge a small fee on my card, the girl then told me they stopped giving out white sauce, they used to when they opened but no more and turned and walked away,

Pearlands outpost of this famous NYC eatery is right next to Panera at 288/Broadway and across from Coldstone. This location is not advertised at Broadway/288 well that many folks do not know its here. Its a shame because it provides a great Halal fix. The food is tasty and the staff is awesome. I hope more Pearlanders find this place soon. Halal Guys is clean and affordable. Go light on the hot sauce at first . They will be happy to add more if you need it. Enjoy!

I m excited to have Halal Guys in Pearland, the food is great! I got the falafel sandwich. If you eat chicken or beef you can add falafel to your dish. I recommend it. They have a super spicy sauce(add sparingly). Food is fresh and flavorful. Staff are upbeat! Nicolas checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed even after we sat down. I m impressed and will come back again.

Used to drive all the way to Houston just to get our halal guys fix so we were definitely excited that they had opened one in pearland! The food is always fresh and tasty. They greet you as soon as you walk in and make you feel welcome. We decided to try the limited edition cheesecake and the manager even went and sliced us up a fresh piece which we enjoyed! The cashier came around and brought extra forks so that we wouldn t have to use the same ones for cheesecake. They also walked over and offered us more sauce. Customer service is top notch!

We got the Chicken Sandwich and The Beef Gyro Platter. The chicken was unseasoned and therefore didnt have much flavour. The beef platter was the same. We added the white and red sauce yet we both wasnt satisfied. We was very disappointed which is a massive shame as we was looking forward to eat. The two stars are for the absolute friendly staff that greeted us when we came in and came to us if we wanted any more sauce too which is good. The portion sizes are good and the price was reasonable.

Tried it today for lunch paid $14.plus for regular plate and a cup of water got the regular combo chicken and beef with white sauce and a side order of falafel with extra humus the humus tasted bad the white garlic sauce didn t have any flavor the chicken was super dry and had a really bad flavor the beef was dry and also had no flavor this is a horrible don t waste you time and money I been to king of shawarmas I know from now on to stick to what I know is good and not venture out to other places like halal guys The falafel was also horrible nothing about my plate was good except the lettuce and tomatoes
