Very disappointed the last two times I had food from there. I use to go all the time but now I have to explore other places. I ordered Uber a few weeks ago and they didn t follow requests about seasoning so it was to spicy to eat and then The other day I took my sister and the person taking the order told me they no longer sell just clusters that I had to order a pound and a quarter and I have bariatric surgery so I cannot eat a lot and it would be a waste of money. Not every person eats for quantity versus quality. I rather pay for what I m gonna eat and not waste food. You may want to revisit that not everyone eats a lot and you may want to accommodate all customers versus just the ones that eat a massive amount or big portions. Dietary restrictions: If you have any type of bariatric surgery, this is not a place that you want to eat because they don t allow you to order smaller portions.

Actually some of the best seafood in Dallas. Nothing fancy but great fried catfish and large fried shrimp. Their Mexican shrimp cocktail in a mug is perfection and could be a meal. Make your own redsauce and their tartar sauce is better than most seafood restaurants. Ive been going back for years.

I ordered a boil platter. Asked for the spicy. They add Valentina sauce or Tapatio. That s all it tastes like platters here used to taste way better. Idk who changed the recipe but I would not be ordering that again. It just tasted like shrimp, potatoes, corn and crab legs washed in Valentina sauce.

Big Shucks is a Dallas staple. Always fresh, ALWAYS delicious, and always busy BUT . The staff here do a great job at getting food out, despite the rush!! I love the poboys. Good food and usually good service but 3rd time wrong is a strike out. I was told I could go back up to the restaurant and get my caldo which I did but my time and gas is not worth it anymore and not to mention eating together as a family. When I returned home the other items I ordered were cold. I am thankful for the sweet young lady who helped me and took my call ( I wish I had asked her name) she has it together and was nice. I have been coming here the past 18 years at least. Everything is always good. My favorite is the shrimp cocktail but you can t go wrong with anything here. Even their wings are really really good! Be mindful of their busy times because that line can get LONG. You also cannot save seats just fyi. They have frozen Margaritas too which were very good. I had the Chamoy one recently and it wasn t watered down like frozen drinks usually are. Ill continue coming here again and again

Love the selection and variety of grilled and boiled seafood. We like that you can make your own custom cocktail sauce as they provide everything you need at a counter in the dining area - ketchup, worchestershire sauce, lemons, and great horseradish. My husband likes his really hot and I like mine pretty spicy. And of course you can get as much as you want and all the crackers you can stand to go with your oysters! Food comes out pretty quick too. They make a SUPER Mexican style shrimp cocktail also
