The food is healthy, delicious, and halal. Their pancakes are nice and soft and taste delicious. A lot of their food is organic like their strawberries and ketchup, making them a healthier option than other places like IHop or Dennies. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere inside is very soothing. The restaurant is very do it yourself which I personally like. You go up to the register and make your order, you, you get your own utensils, and your own to go boxes unless you ask a staff member for them then they will happily give them to you. The meat here is Halal, so my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, this place is a place where you can eat at and I highly recommend it.

Sharif?? Im not sure how to spell his name.. he is truly a blessing to have as an employee of this establishment. His customer service is top notch. He was serving and interacting with the customers. He was outside recruiting prospective customers to come inside to eat. He was hyping up the food while I was eating it and he suggested this Cajun bowl thing thats not actually on the menu that was similar to the Cajun omelette that I got. I dont know what yall put in my side of cheesy potatoes but it was delicious and the salad was a nice compliment to the omelette. I never had a salad with an omelette before. I hope that Sharif gets his recognition for being team Bay 34 and I am happy to have found this place to end my first trip to Dallas... And happy to have Sharif to share the experience with. He made it feel like I was eating and talking with family!

I love crepes! I had the Berry Crepe and it s filled with cream that s delicious. Whip cream on top is real whip cream. Orange juice is fresh squeezed. I had turkey bacon too. I like my turkey bacon cooked longer- more brown but it was still good. Definitely a place to return!

Breakfast? Look no further, a true hidden gem! Upon entering, the vibe gave an amazing mom and pops feel. My family and I were in the area after my lasik eye surgery follow-up & wanted a good breakfast spot to enjoy nearby. My eye surgeon recommended this place to me. All I can say is WOW by far one of the BEST breakfast spots I ve been to in a while. Customer service, decor, food and coffee/americano were all perfect. I got the healthy omelette, kiddos got pancakes, bacon & fruit. Hubby ordered everything (lol). No complaints at all & will definitely be back when in the area.

My mom and I visited this diner today for a late lunch. Y all, I wanted a quick but delicious deli sandwich so I left my officer and started driving to see what was around. I stopped into Bay 34th Street believing they would have something, but after reviewing the menu I realized that they did not. As I was preparing to leave the owner, Omar, stopped me and said, Where are you going? I explained my desire for a deli sandwich and he said, I got you! This is the best sandwich and not simply because the bread is warm and soft and every ingredient is fresh. It s the best because an owner and his cashier Leah took the time to listen and cater to me. I am amazed that they took the time to offer me something off menu and made this my absolute best lunch break. I m a very busy Mom and it s rare that I feel this taken care of. I hope they know how much they made my day!

Hands down the best restaurant experience we have had in a long time! From the moment we walked in, Sharif gave us a genuine warm welcome along with a playful fist bump. We waited about 4 minutes for our table and the food arrived promptly. I had chicken and waffles- wish there was a better stick to the breading but it was crunchy and juicy! The waffle was a little soft for my preference. I like a crispy edge Belgian. Flavors were good! My man had the biscuits and gravy and they were very tasty. We will def be back over and over!! Not only did I eat the best waffles I ve ever had, but the chicken was phenomenal too. The potatoes were done greatly, but what did it for me, was the service. I m bad with names but, Sheriff, was truly excellent. He truly seemed like he loved his job, and that he never had to work a day in his life. Unclear instructions. There is a sign on top of the register that says place order dine in and to go. I went for dine in and once it was my turn to order they told me I had to see the host first so that they could give me a table and THAN I would get back in line to order. I m sad I m just now discovering this place bc it s insanely good. I wasn t sure if I wanted bfast or lunch so I mixed it up and got the quesadilla which had a bit of both - incredible flavor, incredible service in the lobby from Cherise (sorry if misspelled). The restaurant was clean and the vibe was great. Will def be back to try more!

Based on reviews, I selected Bay 34th Street Diner as a place to dine thats not a chain back home. Was delighted with the atmosphere. We were seated, given menus, and placed our order at the counter. Tea is complimentary here, so I just ordered food. When the food was ready, the staff brought it to our table. I had the waffle house with beef bacon, eggs, and a Belgium waffle. Beef bacon was new for me and quite delicious. My wife had 2 of your kind with eggs, turkey bacon, and pancakes. Food was quite delicious and staff was very attentive. Parking: Diner is part of a shopping center. Its mostly flat, so easy navigation for handicapped.

I came here with my mother hoping to treat her to a meal. We sat down and for almost ten minutes no one came to take our order. No one took our drink choice or menu order even though there was plenty of servers just standing there touching their hair with their gloves while they waited for food. Horrible service. I felt awful because my mother noticed it as well. Will not be coming back.

I placed an order for 2 Cajun omelettes and 2 orders of pancakes. I received 2 omelettes that were not Cajun, had no andouille sausage as advertised, and it was overcooked. The omelette had small bits of breakfast sausage links and the pancakes were burnt. I spent over $50 for this junk. This establishment should be ashamed and I will not be back.

I recently visited Bay 34th St Diner in Arlington and had an excellent experience. I ordered the Holy Guac (avocado toast) and a latte. The avocado toast was awesome and kept me full the entire day. The coffee was fantastic too. One of the highlights of my visit was the beautiful mural inside the diner. While chatting with the restaurant manager, Omar, I learned that the mural tells the story of the owners journey. This personal touch added a unique and warm atmosphere to the place. Overall, I highly recommend Bay 34th St Diner. Its got amazing food, great coffee, and a fantastic atmosphere. I will definitely be stopping by again next time Im up in DFW.

Went for breakfast while visiting Dallas. Service was phenomenal and the food was really good I wish they had pork bacon but the beef bacon and turkey were still both good. I got the chorizo tacos with got biscuits and gravy and mu sone had the pancakes and we shared the bacon.

I love this place. The owner is so personable and often youll find him cleaning, cooking, and waiting on costumers. The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is very diverse. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Its not a huge place, but there is plenty of seating. Just from waking into the establishment, the smell of the food was heavenly, and you knew the food was going to be great. You walk up to the counter and place your order. All the employees were so nice, you would have thought they were family. Even the other customers were friendly. A very good unexpected gem. We are making plans to go back again. First time going and the service was amazing - one of the best I ve ever experienced. Everyone was very light-hearted, kind, and took care of us well to get us what we needed. The food also was all very good just like I imagined from the pictures I saw, including the drinks. It was busy when we went but didn t feel overly crowded. The only notice I would probably give to others is that it s a little pricey. I spent a little more than expected - we spent about $58 for 2 people (food and drinks) but it wouldn t deter me from going back. This was overall a great experience. I would highly recommend and going back again!

It s a bit small but the food was good. Fun and relaxing atmosphere, vibes from the cashier made it a pleasant experience. The parfait was wonderful! I did not get a pic of anything else, my intension was to see a friend so rating this place was not even a thought. I really enjoyed the guy who took our order and brought us our food. He made sure to talk to everyone at every table and smiled a lot which I truly enjoyed. It s hard to find that, it was a nice change in pace. He spoke to us about living in Vegas and shared some of his view points. The art is fun and is cute. I will have to come back with a bigger appetite.

Called to place a reservation. Place looked great and we were looking forward to it. Drove an hour with 2 babies to get there. Was told upon arriving that there was no reservation and that it was due to a communication error on their end, as they have a very disorganized process for communicating reservations (hostess s words, not mine). I was then told I was out of luck and that I d need to wait the full hour in order to get a table. Safe to say, the reviews seem to have overstated how good this place is. Food looked very subpar. Atmosphere was stuffy. Service even worse. Interesting way to do business. Will surely never be back.

I ordered take out and got chicken and waffles. My chicken was overcooked and dry. The flavor was okay. My waffle was decent, probably better if I dined in. I also got biscuits and gravy, the biscuits were decent, they are like half biscuits. The gravy was a little lacking, would be better if it was sausage gravy. Overall I m slightly disappointed. Maybe might try it again one day but I m not in a rush.
