Been coming to this location for years! Have also been to the one in Lewisville they are both great . The service is great you order inside and they bring the food to the table , and someone is constantly coming by asking if you need anything . They make the best micheladas! Taste as it should . One of our favorite is the cocktail Shrimp also the ceviche I highly recommend those 2 items . I ve also had the gumbo it s good and other times I ve had the baskets combos those are pretty good deals too. My kids love the shrimp boil for them is perfect because it s not spicy and not to many seasonings I personally don t like it (acceptable it s not everyones cup of tea , Don t expect it to be with a lot of seasonings or sauces that s not the case for this restaurant) But my boys do enjoy it they are (10,8 years ) that s what they always order . Also the caldo is súper delicious.

Ive eaten a variety of shrimp fried grilled but never usually order fish. I ordered the grilled salmon came with rice and mixed vegetables, zucchinis, peppers and onions. And it was filling, it appeared to be about a 6-8 oz piece of salmon cooked the way I requested it filled me up.

Catfish / Shrimp basket was good. Tried the cup of Gumbo rather than Shrimp Cocktail this time and it was awful. Shrimp on top were good. Gumbo was thick and tasted funny like bitter/liquid smoke. I stopped eating it. Will stick to the Shrimp Cocktail which is always good.

I ordered catfish and once the food cooled down, actually this restaurant is selling talipia and trying to pass it off as catfish. Talipia is a wet based fish and when you lift up the batter the whole batter fall apart and is very wet. I visited another location and I had the same issue. The should take catfish off the menu if they are not going to produce it. Some people actually know their food. The good points are the fries are good and the tarter sauce is always good. Worst place for a seafood boil. Reviews looked promising so decided to give it a try. Got the shucks boil, was $60 and got half a dozen raw oysters for $15. The boil had barely any seasoning, just some cayenne on top and a side of butter. Everything was overcooked, shrimp was gummy and corn was mushy. Definitely would not recommend. Go to Nate s in Addison instead, it s awesome there! Update: 3/7/24 Woke up to chills, fever, body ache, stomach cramps and fatigue. Pretty sure I got mild food poisoning. Aw Shucks is my favorite place. It s not a fancy restaurant. The food just tastes great every single day. Their fried shrimp, their Caldo, their catfish, ceviche and their shrimp cocktails, and the price is affordable. Parking: Depends on which one you go to. On Greenville it can be hard to find a space. 2/5/24 - had dinner last night and it was super delicious. We had 3 fish fillet kids meals, shrimp cocktail, fish tacos and blackened tilapia. My Tilapia dinner was super delicious because the plate finally came with grilled zucchini. Ever since Covid hit, it disappeared. All we would see was peppers and broccoli. This place is awesome, definately bringing family here next time! Staff were very friendly :)! For happy hour we got 2 dozen raw oysters (fresh) and 2 orders of buffalo hot wings (super saucy and good) for a GREAT price. There is a small condiment bar with cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemons, etc. for the oysters. We also got the shrimp cocktail with spicy level but it was more sweet than spicy but still tasty. Fries were nice and crisp. Rice and veggies were good after I added some cholula. The slice of key lime pie was HUGE, delicious, and tasted like a mix of ice cream and cheesecake with hint of keylime. Free parking lot too! Parking: Small free parking lot at the location. There arent a lot of spots but there werent a lot of people so there was plenty of room on Tuesday 3pm.

On July 4th I went to this restaurant for the first time and honestly I love it. The one I visited is the one on Preston Rd, Frisco. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was comfortable.
