I had never eaten from this restaurant and it caught my attention. I wanted the tamales and I bought a dozen. For my worst mistake, having bought from there, they are very small, they look like excrement and they dont taste good. They come apart and for $15 dollars, I will never buy there again. !!!!

We ate Menudo. It lacked flavor. Im not a person that likes salt, and it needed salt. VERY simple restaurant. The cashier asked what size we wanted. I asked if we were going to get in a bowl. We were served in styrofoam containers and plastic silverware. Its definitely a no frills restaurant.

I have been here before and had some good food. But this time I had ordered 2 dozen tamales and they were horrible. They were small as in one to maybe 2 bites and also tasted like they were made with old leftover meat or themselves were just old. Maybe this was an off day. I will try them again as i know that the food is good.

I use to love eating the tamales at Saucedo. They use to be the best in town. Lately the tamales have been awful. I will not be eating there anymore I purchased tamales today and they were wet and the masa was gray looking I believe they were old or spoiled. I had to throw them away. What a waste of my money. Never going back there.

Ive been going to Saucedos since I was a kid and now I take my daughter regularly. The people behind the counter are patient/happy every time, we see these people so much and they are always so nice, the service is perfect. The food is amazing, we always get the chili cheese potatoes with a bean/cheese burritos and then use the burritos as a eating utensils to consume the chili cheese potatoes with its so good and cheap. I cant say enough good things about this place, if youre reading this and Saucedos is on your daily route to school/work then start giving it a try, its great.

Don t call in your order because when you go to pick it up they will look at you like your crazy especially if you don t speak Spanish then tell you when you go call the orders in they usually don t make them because people don t show up instead of telling you that over the phone highly unprofessional and a waste of time

UPDATE 2023! My latest experience was horrible. Nothing like the old Saucedos Used to be at all. They used to have good food and organized ordering. Now food is bad, ordering is confusing because of the cashier and the kitchen no proper communication or system anymore.. not sure just not good. Well, i.orderded ground Beef taco plate with rice and beans. Oh my lord, the meat tasted worse then Spam, it was like a dog food consistency , I dont know what it was but it wasnt good!! I ate like 1 and a half tacos cause I hate waisting food and I threw the rest away! And I never throw food away! Thats how bad it was!! I would NOT recommend!!

Just paid 12 dollars for a dozen tamales. Asked about hot sauce and was told they dont give hot sauce with tamales and that would be .25 ea. I had no cash or change. She had already run my debit and had a 5 dollar limit on cards. Refused to sell me $5 worth of sauce or a drink and some sauce. Then told me she could only sell ONE hot sauce. The size of a jello shot. Needless to say I left with no hot sauce. Done with that place.

Only giving 1 star because no option for -10 stars Order a dozen on hot tamales from here the other day after eating 2 I got my 3rd and at the bottom end I see a bunch of thing sticking out which I thought were the corn husk hairs no it was an thin patch of skin still with like 8 to 10 hairs growing out of it very unsanitary please don t risk your health maybe this is the reason they are always empty now days as before they were always packed eat at own risk

I ordered tamales, the tamales stunk, discolored and tasted bad. When I called them to inform them they were selling bad tamales, she said I was wrong and stated they just had made them and laughed. So I proceeded to call the Saucedos on Grandview and the lady stated she would correct it and she did she replaced with fresh ones. She stated I was not the first to complaint. Bad business

I usually stop here on my way home from work my first few times here were great. enjoyed the food they had to offer. The two latest time I visited they forgot one of my burritos (chicken with green sauce) they have me the run around when I asked for a refund and said I could come back the next day to get my burrito. Upon opening the burrito I did receive I found a hair In the wrapper. Which I excused since I hadn t had any bad experiences and accidents happen. When I arrived the next day to pick up my credited food I purchased one more burrito togo. I was disappointed to have received the incorrect order, again. After calling the employee did nothing to compensate my lost time or incorrect food. Sadly I won t be returning or recommending this spot.

The burritos are pretty good, especially for what you pay for them. But the tamales are small and extremely greasy. I know some people may like that, but for those who dont just be aware. Their speaker doesnt seem to work well since you have to yell your order every time.

This Mexican food is really good. I can say that everything I have eaten here has been delicious. I really appreciate that the beans and rice are very good. Some restaurants give you a good entrée but some canned beans. That is not the case here. Try the enchiladas or the asado, you wont be disappointed.

Girl at window wearing glasses needs to work on her customer service skills. She apparently expects people to leave their windows open while its raining until shes ready to take the order. A simple One mement please to ensure the customer that the speaker is working would be appreciated. That would be preferred over being scolded at the window and being told I heard you asking if the speaker was working. you need to wait I was busy. At the very least acknowledge that is was working afterall she was wearing a headset.

They are good, the tamales are not big or small, they are just the right size, they have a good flavor and for someone who just wants to eat something and not wait so long, they are all in. Just if you need napkins, a fork or sauce or something, ask for them when This is because when you are already eating in your car and if you dont bring something, youre already screwed.

I had to attach photos. Ive NEVER had to leave a review like this, I am nauseous and disgusted. After my family purchased 5 hot dozen tamales and waited over an hour only to be forgotten and then having to remind the employees we had purchased food there I found this, a grub tucked and squished in between my masa and meat of a tamale. They threw away our receipts when we reminded them that they had forgotten our orders. So I will be updating if we even get a refund for the well over 50$ we spent there. UPDATE: Because they threw away our receipts we never received our 50$ refund Mind you we paid more than 200$ on other food items but only requested the tamales to be refunded. That kind of customer service is unacceptable from any kind of business. Absolutely disgusting, please please check your food.
