Corn in vaso is canned corn totally nasty, I order birria tacos with frijoles there were absolutely dry. The girl working at the register did not know what she was doing, the older assuming is Nora was very rude very nasti people and food no not come

The food is good here and they used to give you a lot. Today I got the birria taco plate. The price was up to $17 and change but the tacos were tiny!! We are talking street taco size with a dollop of canned refried beans and dried out rice. They used to have much bigger tortillas that made it worth the price. No more! I won t be back for this rip off.

Came because a friend of mine told me about Nubias, came on a Friday evening and it was pretty empty. Prices are a little high but I guess thats the new norm. Tried the quesabirria tacos $3.99 per taco and the consome is extra. $1 for a small cup. Tacos were good, they had good flavor. They also have ice cream, mangonadas, etc.. everything looks good.

The food and service were great but there was no AC only a fan on and in this Texas august weather that s literally criminal to do. I m 22 weeks pregnant so if you know how much heat affects pregnant women you know why the uncomfortable feeling. My 4 year old didn t mind but she was sweating as well. If I didn t drive from 45 mins away I would have not dined in. I ll have to make sure to come in when it s not this hot outside.

I ordered a birria plate with nachos at 4:39pm she told me it would be 10 mins. I arrived at 5:15pm and told them I was here to pick up my order. I paid and was expecting to receive my ordered right away as it had been well over 10 mins. To my disappointment She informed me that it wasn t ready? Confused I said you told me 10 mins. And she informed me that they don t make the food until you get there. So I replied then why did you tell me 10 mins? She said that s just the estimated wait time and walked off. I continued to wait and didn t receive my order until an hour after I had placed it at 5:39. I used to enjoy coming here for the food but now the customer service is just horrible and they don t seem to care.

I would have said a good 4 but they forgot my Jalapeños on my 2 Carne asada nachos [$10+tax sm]each, and those tajin fruit gusher were $12 and a chamoy pickle was $5. Yum, boy this place sure does mexican food right! Authentic home cooked delicious food made from the heart. The drinks are an adventure in itself. The food is hearty and properly proportioned. I got a price shock with the 10 & 15 dollar non-alcoholic drinks, but man these drinks were dressed up to the max and are an experience on there own!! If you want to experience delicious and authentic mexican food that will leave you satisfied and completely stuffed I highly recommend this spot. Yummy!! Update: I had to take off 2 stars. The quality has gone down tremendously, customer service and food quality.

This place is unique but a total hidden gem. This place pays homage to Latino street foods and puts a little sass on it. Their dessert menu is pretty wide. The dulce enchilados were a little over priced compared to most places but I do like that it was over sauced. The mango flower was a little over sauced with chamoy but it was still good. The tacos are basic street tacos and everything comes on the side. The birria tacos were a little over cooked on a couple of them but the broth was good. They are cash only but do accept venmo and cashapp. I do wish that there was an option to get an itemized receipt or something that shows exactly what was charged and paid for. Parking can be a little tough since it is on a small street and shares road with residential.

Burger patty was thin but tasted delicious. Got my taco plate wrong so I called. Lady informed me that she would notify them & my corrected order would be ready when I arrived. I arrive they werent told anything until I explained. Second time they bring my plate out the kitchen order still wrong. I asked for a refund at this point cause I didnt want to keep dealing with it. Older lady gives me partial refund I explain I wanted my full refund for the plate. She did it but had the audacity to try to blame the new cashier saying it was her first day. That was so unprofessional & irrelevant being that she helped the new girl place my order the first time anyway. Mistakes will be made at any establishment but dont blame anyone especially a newbie. Just teach them the error. Customer service skills are lacking a bit but the food is definitely worth it if you get the correct order.

One of my students told me I had to try birria tacos here, and Nubia s did not disappoint. I tried the birria (first time!), fajita, and barbacoa tacos - all of them were incredible. Note to other Nubia s newbies: these are full-size tacos, not the little street style ones. I m glad I tried out three different versions, but two would have been plenty - they are stuffed with yummy beef. I highly recommend!

When this place first opened a couple year s ago I had a bad experience with customer service and didn t go back till recently. My 2nd visit was great! But then this past Sunday I decided to make the 45 minute drive at 9pm because it says they close at 11pm every Sunday. Well I get there just to be turned away because they were closed already. Closed at 9:45! Again, I drove 45 minutes there and 45 minutes back without anything! I immediately checked all their pages to see if maybe there was a post announcing that they would be closing early and if it was my fault for not checking but there was nothing! Nothing at all. Waste of gas and time. Moving forward please announce this so you guys dont lose more clientele.
