Overall pretty good food. The pepperoni pizza had light sauce and was on a very thin floppy crust. The crust had good flavor and it was cooked perfectly. A little pricey for the size. I was not a fan of the Caesar salad. The dressing was very bland and the whole thing lacked flavor. The cheese was decorative but not tasty and it maybe had four or five croutons. Looked pretty but was just boring. How about just using your freshly grated Parmesan instead? Dressing needed to be more creamy. The biscuits and gravy were yummy but the gravy amount needs to be increased. It was dry because you only get a small amount of gravy with five small biscuits. Additional gravy is $3 The chicken and waffles was the best dish with fluffy waffles and crispy chicken. They didnt include the syrup but provided it after request. Service is friendly and theres a good amount of parking. Bar seats are comfy and the patio is cute.

I have eaten here multiple times, at different times of the day,today was my first time doing brunch here,and it wasnt a good experience for my sister, I invited her here for brunch because I found out they served brunch, and I always stop by when Im in the area,my sister arrived before I did because she is in a wheelchair and has to be dropped off,and I was leaving from work,they wouldnt let her in,they wouldnt open the door for her,I had to call there to speak to a manager in order for her get a table to wait for me,she was very hurt,if there was another place close by I would have took her there,I was so upset!!! That will be the last time I eat there and I always recommend that place to people because the food is good,but when they made my disabled sister feel less then a person it was the end for me

Best Margharita pizza I have ever had! I also ordered the chicken meatballs which I wasnt huge on(not bad just didnt hit my personal mark) but the sauce & bread that came with them were really tasty. Disappointed that when I showed up around 1pm on a Saturday that theyre only serving the brunch menu... the only reason I picked this place on Google maps was because I saw a bunch of pasta pictures. Which I guess they dont serve till 3pm . So that started my experience off on the wrong foot but the pizza made up for it. I was served by Dre at the bar, he was awesome. Dre offered his apologies about the menu/pasta and then made some great suggestions that could fill that void. Which again that Margherita pizza!!! Yum yum yum!! Thanks Dre!!

I love this location for pie tap! The parking is better than other locations, but still not great when its busy. I honestly hate that there is a valet service that takes over much of the parking lot because of the businesses that are nearby. Pie Tap itself is great. If you go, you have to try the fondue, the simple salad, the prosciutto Pizza, &/or the chicken parm sandwich. All of these are DELICIOUS.

Salad $13 good portion was core of the lettuce - tomatoes were rotten - very few cucumber and carrot - pizza just large slices of prosciutto layed across top - used to be cut to where is was on each slice - very few dates or pistachios which is what makes this pizza great - or used too. This location is in such a great spot and I LOVE the patio. The cinnamon rolls and pie was GREAT! Now the service . Very mediocre. Both the bartender and the server did not introduce themselves or give us the spill that the company cares so much about. I was with 3 first time guests and ended up explaining a lot of things that I felt should ve been generously suggested. I love over tipping based on hospitality but today was just not the day. I really hope that PieTap finds people who over exceed from just doing their jobs.

Wow. We ate here for lunch and it was quite the experience. Best service we ve ever had at a restaurant. Given hand sanitizer when we sat down and our waiter was awesome. Ate here for dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very on top of things and the meal was great. I started with the arancini and it was crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside. Loved that it came in a plate of sauce. I usually order the garlic knots, but going forward, will be ordering the arancini instead. I split the workshop salad with my partner and it was enough for two people. The flavor was on the acidic side, but was otherwise very fresh and all the ingredients worked well together. I ordered the salami pizza as the entree (also to split). This is the item I usually order and it came out exactly as expected. If I was visiting on my own, I would probably order the pizza without the sausage (not a fan of that flavor as much, really like the salami and bacon). For dessert, I ordered the housemade doughnuts with honey. It came with a lot more than I expected. It was sweet and soft. I give the atmosphere 4 stars because this isnt my first time here and in the past, when Ive been seated near the doors, it is drafty, especially during the winter.

The service was impeccable, right from the moment I walked in. Good local beer selection to start with. I did only get a snack and a salad but I would come back for both. The prosciutto bruschetta was absolutely delicious! Sweet, salty, with the right amount of dill from the asparagus and then the bread was to die for! The Caesar salad is one I m glad I pass on, if you enjoy this salad I would highly recommend.

We ate dinner here tonight and it was delicious- but the service was not good. Our server was kind, but not attentive at all. One lady nearly rolled her eyes when delivering food to our table, we had to ask 3 separate times for food to be cleared and waited for way too long. As we paid, there was a question on the payment terminal about the experience where we were prompted to select a thumbs up or down. We pressed a thumbs down, and the manager walked over immediately and addressed our server in front of us.

Worst place I ve ever visited (first timer)in terms of service. 20 min to bring a beer, 15 min after ordering to tell us we actually can t order that pizza (margherita add meat), followed by the pizza arriving, no plates, no pepper, no napkins, no waiter to be found, and no refills. I stopped in to get a quick bite to eat while out of town. The bartender Amy was so friendly. I asked about certain foods, and she gave me her honest opinion. My husband and I have come here a few times over the last few months, and each time weve dined at the bar. Two of these times weve had the pleasure of dining with Tyler, the bartender. This past experience, he was slammed with drink orders, but never once seemed stressed or unhappy. Our group of 8 friends met for brunch here today, and the staff was friendly from the moment we walked in. Though my order was initially missed, the error was quickly corrected. The manager offered to comp my meal, but the food was so good I couldnt accept it. Despite the minor hiccup, we had a great time. From the outside, it looks a little sketch. Yeah, not so much! Walking through the door, the bar/restaurant makes a great first impression. Chloe and Tyler were super nice and helpful. Great food, good music and service. The parking seems weird but there s just multiple ways to enter into the plaza. There s patio seating outside and plenty bar space and tables inside but dont overwhelm these friendly people with a conference luncheon nothing huge like that lol. The chicken parmesan that I had was so delicious! It is one of the crispiest pieces of chicken Ive ever had on a chicken Parm. The tomatoes sauce was rich and hearty with chunks of tomato which I love compared to a watery sauce. The only part about it I didnt like was the style of noodles. They were too thick for my liking. I prefer a thinner angel hair pasta with my chicken parmesan, but the taste was still great. My coworkers loved everything they ordered. The old fashioneds we ordered were perfect. They came with a smoke top that added a subtle smoky flavor that really made the cocktail go down smoothly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and had a fun quirky personality and the place overall just had a relaxed and elegant vibe at the same time. Just be aware that the high chairs are a bit uncomfortable with no back and no way for your feet to reach the ground unless youre like 8 feet tall.

I give 1 star for effort. Brunch food isn t good at all. If you don t like alcohol or rosemary then the only drink you can get is water. I wanted just a waffle along with bacon and potatoes. They don t have just A waffle on the menu, so I had to get a meal similar that included a biscuit, bacon, eggs and potatoes. That s listed as $13, with me desperately wanted a waffle , the server added it but an additional $10. Total $23. With that price I thought the food would be great but it was not. The potatoes were undercooked and crunchy , runny eggs, goey biscuit, and crunchy Belgian waffle. Customer service : 8/10 . Thank you.

This must serve as a warning and im only doing review as a public service: they have exhibited simply inexcusable moments these last two times I ordered on ubereats with this last one being reprehensible. this is all fixable but at the moment it needs to be addressed: ive prob in the last 5 years have ordered from them around 20 times. Great food. Clean. Reasonably priced (well now not so much but I understand the plight of inflation combined with 3rd party fees - 30% - to smaller businesses forcing them to price up). Varied product. Consistent. A month ago I ordered from them and the driver messaged me they just got order and just now making it and going to take a long time but I was ok with it and food eventually got to my place, much later. Why would order be confirmed on ubereats which is done with a manual acceptance and then a delivery time assessed and then not getting it? so 5 weeks later, today I ordered. I saw driver after driver on uber map cancel once at restaurant. literally 5 altogether for this order. I messaged uber support that something at restaurant must be going on. why the f would I bother calling myself? im a power 3rd party delivery user - sadly - but like thousands a month spent on orders between the apps. then, an hour later, 5th driver cancelled and then order was cancelled by them. unacceptable. get your act together. this is a problem. my time was wasted and now im turned off in this competitive market of this brand. fix it! thanks.

I was recommended Pie Tap and safe to say it did not disappoint. Sourdough pizza is the most amazing idea and is executed perfectly there. The food was delicious, drinks were yum, and service was top-notch above all else. Then after everyone else was done, they brought food out to the last person. The manager came by to ask how our food was and we told her it took over 35 minutes to get the last meal to which she replied Oh, well Ill give you a minute to taste it. Seriously! What a great pizza joint! Ive driven by a few times and finally grabbed a pie to go to eat at Stomping Ground. The za was amazing. So amazing, I didnt even get a photo! My one complaint was that I scheduled the pick up for 715, arrived at 713 and my pizza was sitting on an open air shelf. By the time I got to my destination, 3-4 minutes away my pizza was barely warm. They either need a heated shelf or to schedule that pizza finish better. While the convenience of having it near the door was nice, the disappointment of a cold box was a let down. Had it been dine in, it wouldve been a solid 5 star, Im sure!

So we visited from NC, were starved, so we stopped for a quick lunch and were NOT disappointed! Our waiter knew the menu and shared some great tidbits. The pizza dough is made with simply 4 ingredients and the flavors of the pizza were splendidly complex. One of the best things on the menu was the half pizza half salad option for lunch! We started with the garlic knots and they re not your typical knot folks. They re homemade with some kind of whipped cheese concoction . Don t think Hawaiian rolls, more sourdough consistency, just homemade bread garlic goodness. For the pizza I had pepperoni and added sausage which was absolutely ahhmazzzing paired with a Caesar salad! If you re thinking of eating in a great atmosphere with good food and service, stop here!! This has to be a local favorite! Wish I could pick it up and drop it in NC! Can t wait to try the wings for dinner! We will be back before we leave!

The sausage and margherita pizzas were good but not great. The caesar salad was tiny. $10?!? There are too many great pizzas out there to go back here. (This was a delivery so the pizzas weren t hot but somewhat understandable).

I m fine with larger parties having gratuities added. Get it, but when the service stinks it s an issue. Paying out was a nightmare. The waitress couldn t even explain the 5 credit card limit policy accurately. We won t be back. Way to much drama for poor service and food that s just pretty good.

We visited here on our trip to Dallas. We started with the charcuterie board and it did not disappoint. It was plenty for two people. We also shared a good carafe of red wine...the waitress brought us a few samples to help us choose. My boyfriend then got a pizza and i opted for pasta. Both were incredible. Great food and service coupled with a nice vibe was a great way to spend our last night in the area.

Great place for brunch on a Saturday and Sunday. Great options and large portions. 3 bucks for a mimosa Im game for that anytime. Busy of course so I recommend making a reservation. We were seated pretty quickly. Froze was a bit sweet for me but still a good drink.

I had the chicken melt with a Caesar salad on the side while my friend had the pepperoni pizza. It was delish! Our server Rachel was awesome! My friend wanted to sit outside on this slightly chilly day, and when he asked about having one of the outside propane heaters turned on, she was quick to take care of it. Service and atmosphere were excellent, location was perfect!

Rachel was our server and she was attentive, friendly and funny :) From the moment she greeted us with a smile that could power a small city, we knew we would be getting the best service. Not only did she deliver our piping hot pies with lightning speed but she also sprinkled each interaction with a kind smile, and a caring touch.. if you find yourself craving a pizza fix in Dallas, do yourself a favor and ask for Rachel with the brilliant smile and an awesome hand tatt that kills!

Great food, drinks, and service. I highly recommend the breakfast sandwich, the sausage pizza, the mimosas, and the cinnamon roll. Only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is that one time I came here our server was more attentive to the drink he was having at the bar than the tables he was supposed to be serving. But every other server has always been great

Over rated and a Bit pricey. Ordered online and 1 pepperoni pizza and a sweet tea was $30.00+ dollars.pizza had less pepperoni than the extra mushrooms I had added for $3.00 extra dollars. The pizza barley had sauce on half of it. The cheese didnt even go to the edge. Plus the time quoted for pickup was nearly 10 min past. There is Way better pizza in Dallas for less.

We went here today to dine in for 6 people. It was lunch but they were not that busy so we were seated pretty quickly. We ordered within 5 minutes, I ordered the Salami Pizza. In all we ordered 2 pizzas, 1 hamburger, 2 salads, and 1 half and half, sandwiches/salad. The kitchen seemed over welled and took a long time to start serving our order. Funny thing is the pizzas were served first then the hamburger. About 5 minutes later the 2 salads were finally served, and another 5 minutes the half and half was finally served. The waitress was great, as well as the food, hot, presentation, and taste. The only 2 bad things are they need to learn how to server the food together not over a 10 minute period, and it s lunch time, it should not take over an hour to eat there when your not that busy.

Original review (circa 2019): Great pie! Will come again. Update (2022): Stopped in around 8:30pm on a weeknight. Place wasnt busy, so seating was plentiful. The lady at the host/hostess stand was busy (looked like she was cleaning up), but after she grabbed a bag of trash and walked past me out the door, I was kindly greeted by a gentleman who came from the back wall area. The chicken wings (lollipops) were pretty good and the salami pie was great. Bartender was engaging and attentive. Ill have to say that every PieTap location consistently has good food.

Despicable, and needs to take the words WORKSHOP out of the name because its definitely not a place to conducted your personal matters while eating without being asked to leave. Yes, I said it. To make matters even worse, I email this Jennifer Hicks and have yet to receive a response to my customer complaint email. Everything was horrible, over priced pizza, staff making me feel uncomfortable because I had my laptop on my table so I could finish an assignment. Our business professional nails not allowed to partake and casual wine and dine over conducting business matters in under 90 min. Keep in mind the waiter was topped above average and after we spent $80 bucks and paid for the meal the manager asked us to leave. Please dont choose this unprofessional hasty restaurant, I promise you, you will be treated and respected better at Chucky Cheese. Save yourself the migraine, embarrassment and diarrhea, by NOT coming to this place. Save your self, go to Cicis, Showbiz, Peter pipers. You wont regret it.

We ordered 5 different pizzas and they all were pretty good. However, the service was nearly nonexistent. The waitress brought us the pizzas and never checked back or refilled our drinks. We didnt even get plates, we ended up taking a two stacks from the table next to us. All the while I could see the waitress standing off to one side but she never even looked our way. I also had to ask our waitress to remove a random drink we never ordered.

I am definitely not a pizza connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination. But their pies here are actually really good. Service was good considering how busy they were!! We had the Garlic Knots, which came with this awesome butter cream cheese dip thing... Soooo good! A caesar salad, which was also delicious!!! And of course the pepperoni pizza was amazing! I would give this place a 10/10 on my imaginary pizza scale. Ohhh, and their donut dessert thingies werent all too bad either. No pictures because we ate it all too fast.

Tried 3 pizzas (mushroom, salami, and prosciutto) and the Spiedini appetizer. Everything was so so good! The prosciutto pizza was my favorite of the three - so unique in flavor. The Gouda fondue dipping sauce for the pizza was fantastic. Our waiter was so friendly and kind! We had a blast enjoying the food and drinks - great atmosphere and the manager was also super fun! Heard a lot about this place so went to try with a friend. The pizza was to die for and the complementary bread with the whipped butter was so addicting. I got a virgin drink and the waitress was great about answering our questions and accommodating us. I got the sweet salad as well and it was very unique! It seemed like it would be fun and I have to cut some slack because we had a party of 25. Our area of 6 people did not get our drinks until quite some time after our food. The wait was working hard but had no help. When we questioned others they directed us back to our very busy waiter. Not good. Food was good though. We just could ve used some drinks.

I brought my mom here as she was visiting me from out of town & we could not have been more pleased with the service, menu, atmosphere, drinks, and food! Some of the best pizza Ive had in Dallas yet. We ordered the garlic knots, caesar salad, and a pepperoni pizza (added red onion), and everything was OUTSTANDING. Our server Andrew was amazing and so kind. I will for sure be ordering/dining in here again :) I will say parking can be kinda tricky since there is a steakhouse directly across from the restaurant, so if there are no open spots on busy nights you will have to Valet (they work off just tips, this is what we did and it was very quick and convenient)

Weve spent a long time trying to find a good brunch spot & have good pizza. It has a nice layout & vibe. Our waitress very nice & attentive. Our food came in at good times & was hot. Weve been going here for years and it never disappoints. The garlic knots are amazing and the chicken meatballs are one of our favorites. The meatballs come with yummy rosemary sourdough bread, so keep that in mind if you are considering ordering the knots. We always get the Caesar without the cured egg yolk, its sharable and tasty. For brunch, the chicken and biscuit is memorable. I have gone back numerous times for that dish and it never disappoints. If youre just visiting or live in Dallas, Id definitely recommend Pie Tap.
