Very small area that has an amazing view of the Dallas skyline. Its a good place to just post up and chill with a friend or loved one. The sunset from this park with the view of the city is particularly beautiful.

Trinity Trail access. Parking is on side of road. View of Downtown Dallas. No restrooms, no playground. More of a viewing area and trail area. As the name says Overlook.

A great pit stop before entering the main thoroughfare of Dallas. Definitely worth a short visit or perhaps a pause in a trip to take in the view of the city and its bridges. The area seems to be under renovation with nearby apartments being built, so this might be a more welcoming area with permanent local residents in the future. 1-hour parking is enough to check out the river walk and walk on the bridge. The parking lot had some broken glass, trash and drivers who sped through the lot to get to the main road, so I chose to park there for a short 10 minute run rather than parking for the full hour.

The Trinity Overlook serves as a neighbor pocket park providing access to the Dallas Floodway and the Trinity Skyline Trail. The Overlook has parking spaces for twelve, views of downtown Dallas and of the Margaret McDermott Bridge to the south. Residents of the nearby neighborhoods and business districts can enjoy this special place for hiking, biking, picnics, photography, and casual family outings such as on July 4th.

We tried to go here but it only has 12 PARKING SPACES which isnt readily advertised. I only found out because we couldnt find parking and there isnt anywhere to turn around so you have to turn onto the bridge and then make a u-turn after and go all the way around the block. Pretty annoying. Its actually designed as a park only for the local residents but thats pretty lame honestly. Its a great location and the park area is pretty but 12 parking spaces is just dumb and inconvenient.

This is a very cool overlook that provides a nice view of the Dallas from the West looking East, you can see the Towers of America building as well as many other skyscrapers. Multiple bridges are visible from here including IH30. From the overlook you can see part of the trinity, and take advantage of the very large sidewalks. Went here on the 4th of July for a view of fireworks , not realizing that this is an overlook of Dallas and they dont shoot off large fireworks in the city lol... There were a lot of people with the same idea. You can see some fireworks to the West but mostly to the South from here.
