Great spot to go for a walk and feel like you re out of the city while keeping the skyline close by. Beautiful sunrise / sunset watching spot. Could use more parking. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of open space for dogs to enjoy. Short walk away from the crowds and you could probably let them off the leash to play.

Could be a nice park but the amount of broken glass in the parking lot and pathways is a hazard for pets and people with open toe shoes. Nice spot for photo ops but not good for walks. Last place Ill go for a walk.

Its the dallas view for me baybee... oh I saw people fishng there for any that might wonder if its allowed. The police were there during my visit so this might be a heavily patrolled spot. Never seen police come through a park and park for a while. EVER! But this is a good thing.

Best location to get a great view of the Dallas skyline! You can catch sunrise or sunset there. Parking can be limited, some can be on dirt or mud (after rain). Nice hiking & walking paths too!

The park is a bit sketch. A lot of people sitting in their cars smoking marijuana. The parking area is dirty with the trash overflowing. Rode along the river for 5 miles. Trail was fine. I will look for a new spot to park next time.

I was walking and i got stopped by a half naked man (bottom half) and he started singing I will survive. His voice was dope but still weirded me out. When he finished, he ran to the bushes. Never saw him again. 10/10 would go again

Great place to relax after a long days work. Playground: No playgrounds, but people enjoy flying their drones and playing other sports in this massive open area. Dog-friendliness: Great for walking dogs Picnic area: This is the Trinity River flood banks so not sure every day is a picnic day. Great place when its sunny and gorgeous outside.

Ha ha, its a flood plain with benches, cricket, and a ton of open spaces. Great for kites, remote control cars, drones, bikes, football, anything that you can do outdoors! Avoid for a few days after rain.

Fantastic place to ride a bicycle as long as it hasn t rained recently. Trails frequently have mud over the paved sections and water pooling on the trails due to lack of maintenance. Maybe the city will sort out the drainage so the trails are more useable.

There is a lot of broken glass and trash around the parking area (-1 star) but once you re on the trails it s very nice. Pathway is smooth, wide, and fairly level, making it a great place for biking, skating, and running. There is also deep water access for canoes and kayaks.

First of all the parking area is FULL of glass. Instead of me thinking I was about to take a nice safe walk, I end up cleaning the parking lot. People left bottles and their boxes of beer with bottles and cans all over. Not sure how often this park is maintained but it s not safe to drive around because of the glass. It is clean however because I cleaned it. I keep gloves and trash bags in my car. I wish humans were not like this because it hurts others who care. If you come to this part on July 26th-27th, it s clean and you re welcome.

This spot is always nice and well kept... DOWN SIDE the parking sucks. Yes its free and all but the area running parallel to the Trinity where everyone parks on the street is HORRIFIC after a storm. Maybe they could make that a parking strip . Having said all that.... The place is still nice and peaceful

This place used to be nice until it became a spot for douchebags to hang out doing donuts in the parking lot, blasting music that scares away all the birds, and throwing glass bottles everywhere to shatter on the pavement. And the Dallas police dont give a single flying fudge about it because its been going on for over a year now. Cool....

Trails are nice, but someone decided its a good idea to put speed bumps where trails transition to gravel. One such speed bump is in the dark under this bridge. Not fun when riding a OneWheel and not seeing the 2 speed bumps. Why? They made a safety issue by doing that.

My favorite park in Dallas! It s fun to skateboard, longboard, roller skate, or walk around. I see people on bikes too. Amazing at sunset and you get incredible views of the Dallas skyline. Keep in mind they do close the park after heavy rain because it does flood.
