It was very busy for a Wednesday, but the service was great and the food was wonderful. The patio was bustling, but everyone was friendly. First time visiting, but I definitely recommend it! Kid-friendliness: Sitting outside on the patio, there were lots of kids and dogs. Everyone seemed to get along just fine!

I called the restaurant and was connected with Marcus. I had explained that our soccer game had been canceled and we had a huge group from SC and GA and nowhere to go. Without hesitation, he said sure! Come on in and we will take great care you- and he was so right. We had separate checks, complicated orders, drinks galore and everything was amazing! Didnt get what I ordered, but after waiting an hour to b seated, we all ate whatever we got. My son-in-law didnt get his order either. Could barely understand waiter. I asked for sweet tea & he said something & asked if that was OK. I could not get what he said, so I just said ok. It was unsweetened tea. Obviously if I want sweet tea, Im not going to want unsweetened tea. Dietary restrictions: I dont generally eat meat. Im not a vegetarian though. I wanted something with cheese. I got a burger burrito. Only ate half. Didnt bother taking the other half home.

We had to turn our food back. Mine was full of salt! Awful. Also it was very spicy too much. I coukd not eat their food. My friends food was full of oil! The manager tried to be nice and brought us something else , but it was not edible either. Ive never had that kind of experience. It was embarrassing and all I wanted to do was go home.

Fernandos is a great lunch spot with decent tex-mex food. Its definitely not my favorite tex-mex place in Dallas, but their lunch menu has good prices and good value. The chips and salsa(s) is probably my favorite part. It comes as a trio of 3 different salsas, all of which are tasty and delicious. The service is always speedy and friendly. Would recommend for the lunch menu, but probably not for dinner menu because of the prices.

The only downside was our server was a little slow and was forgetful when delivering our drinks and again when delivering our food. Still a good experience. Parking: A delivery truck was outside the front at 11:45 pm blocking the road through the best parking area and most of the spots were already taken.

Loved this spot. Recommended to us by friends. There are a ton of Tex-mex locations in the area but the ingredients and quality of the plates were better than most. The menu is really extensive with offerings that are more than just traditional Tex-mex There are some elevated dishes inspired by Mexico City as well as tummy steaks and seafoods.

I recently visited Fernandos and I must say it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. It was my dads birthday, and the staff immediately made note of that and treated us like royalty. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered an assortment of dishes, including tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas, and each one was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The guacamole was fresh and chunky, and the chips were crispy and addictive. What really stood out, however, was the tres leches cake. It was honestly one of the best desserts Ive ever had, and the fact that it was brought out for my dads birthday made it all the more special. The cake was perfectly moist and had just the right amount of sweetness. It was the perfect ending to an already fabulous meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful as well - the decor is vibrant and eye-catching, and the music was lively without being too loud. The entire experience was unforgettable, and I know that I will be returning to Fernandos in the near future. If youre looking for a fantastic TexMex restaurant with delicious food and incredible service, Fernandos is the place to go. The chips and salsa were great! The salsas had a lot of flavor and I liked the variety. The fajitas were cold when they arrived to the table, and so were the potatoes, rice, and beans. The tortillas are mediocre. The flautas were crunchy but the inside had the texture of dough... I couldn t quite find the right words to explain the texture and taste. The guacamole tasted really good and the beans had a lot of flavor. The restaurant looks beautiful inside and the music is great.

First off let me say that we usually love Fernandos, however, dont go if you want fast service or the ability to talk quietly. We enjoyed the food, which is very tasty but the noise level rivals that of a KISS concert. My wife and I could barely hear one another and because of the noise level, my order got put in wrong. They did however bring me the correct dish and comped the wrong one. Maybe they are short staffed because we went without fresh drinks and chips for a long time. We really do enjoy Fernandos food. It was just too much to enjoy the experience

Dined there yesterday with a table of four, spent $160. We asked the server to split the check, he was so upset at our request, that he stormed off and told the rest of the crew about it. Walking across the grimy patio, the hostess seats me next to a noisy fan, grinding away with it s worn out bearings. My margarita comes out, a large generic Sysco glass, I can already taste the watered down disappointment. As my food comes out, it looks like something my Tia would make, no presentation that speaks eat me at all, just a soupy bean soup bowl and a floppy piece of meat buried with rice and tomato pieces. Then, the flys (dozens) swarm my food like the drone night show at Disney world. I couldn t get out of there fast enough, I even considered dine and dashing (and I m on expense report- that s how bad it was). Proprietor- please pressure wash and clean your dirty patio. And replace the grinding fans. This is Dallas, I ve had better experience with less flys at a tiendita in rural Mexico with coka cola advertisements painted all over the peeling walls. I won t be back!!

loved the food and great customer service. I brought my laptop to do a few tasks on there and sat outside, they werent to pushy or anything. They were sweet about everything and I didnt feel rushed. Good portion sizes so you go home full and with leftovers. for the beginning they gave free chips and salsas all had a unique taste so it helped change it up a bit. the flautas not sure why they cut them up rather it be whole but thats a minor thing. still tasted good but a little dry. Lastly enchiladas were great, I ordered like a whole bunch of diff flavors and sauces to try that way I can get a good feeling of it. was worth it. Update: Nov 2020 Haven t been here in few years since we live out of state. We were seated promptly and received complimentary chips and salsas. After that went semi downhill. About 10 minutes later we got a waiter meanwhile numerous staff just stared at us; we are both Native American; (wife is full Pueblo). We have had this happen before at other Hispanic restaurants, thinking wife is Hispanic and therefore our service isn t so great. What a shame. The food was good; chicken enchiladas are dry, rice soft and moist, charro beans on point and crispy beef taco full of meet and seasoned well. Staff need some training on this. Very nice location and establishment with friendly and courteous staff with the option of outdoor seating. Very impressed with the prompt service our drinks never went half filled. Chips was fresh and crispy and served with 4 different flavors of salsa. Enjoyed them all. Food was great; taco meat was seasoned well and packed full of meat, enchiladas was good as well and the rice was tender and robust. This place is worth the dinning experience but is higher on the price range. But affordable. Enjoy

Excellent place to eat! Wonderful service. Angelica made our date night the most wonderful time we have had, since covid19 started. She was promp, courteous, bring us appetizer, main plate as well as suggesting drinks when asked. The food was hot tasty and one of the best in town. Way to go Fernandos and Angelica!!

Service was good. From entrance to exit the experience was great. The hostess was welcoming and the server was attentive. The chips and salsas were amazing. Very good. The food was delicious..everything taste home made..not previously frozen. The sangria was good...not strong so you can order about three and feel good. Love this place...will go back

I cant say enough great things about this place. My family loves coming weekly. The patio and atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating. They serve 4 salsas on arrival, and everyone in my family has a different favorite. They are ALL tasty! We have never had a bad dish here. Everything we have tried has been delicious, flavorful and fresh! The Anita Margarita is my favorite Margarita in the DFW.

My fajitas had some kind of insect in them, when I complained the manager told me he couldnt do anything about it and offered me a free soda... The bathroon was filthy with roaches everywhere...When I pounted it out, they told me to leave...Dont eat here...
