I attended a group birthday celebration. The chips were too hard and the salsa was too sour. The queso was really good and the guacamole was fresh and flavorful.I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was too sour. It needed more cheese. My son ordered the Mexican lasagna which was not good either and it had a gnat in it. For a Saturday at lunch time, the place was almost empty the entire time we were there. The servers were good. They took pictures for us and were accommodating. I wish the food was of a higher quality, so we left disappointed. Dietary restrictions: Eat Gluten Free at your own risk

I was expecting better based on the number of stars, but no thanks not all that for sure. The Queso is so thick I tried adding hot salsa twice and nope it didnt work. I ordered chicken enchiladas with mushrooms and spinach (I always order them that way) and just got a to-go box after I ate a few bites Im over it the rice was just ok but the beans were good. The tea was good as well. Not impressed wont be back.

This used to be our go-to spot for AWESOME margaritas and good Mexican food. But todays visit was a huge disappointment. The beans and rice were cold, and the chicken mole, which typically is AMAZING, was a warmed up rubber chicken breast coved in sparce, luke warm brown sauce, which was passed off as mole. My wife and I are writing this off as a bad day, but another meal like this, and we are going to need to find another go-to Mexican spot. (THESE GUYS CAN DO WAY BETTER THAN WHAT WE RECIEVED TODAY, HERE IS HOPING OUR NEXT MEAL IS BETTER!)

Their salsa is my favorite. When I make my own I try to duplicate it, but never can. My favorite dishes are the chicken tortilla soup, ribeye tacos, chalupa plate, big sampler appetizer, chili relleno, queso with beef, pork taco plate, and fajitas. My wife likes their cheese enchiladas but Im not much of an enchilada guy when there are so many other god options. Frozen margaritas are decent and they have Modello on draft. Family owned and operated. I also go to the one in Plano for lunch on workdays. The Sunday brunch is tasty as well. The servers are attentive and always seem happy to be there.

Feels so good to just sit with friends and thoroughly enjoy yourself. What s more satisfying is the food. Absolutely LOVE the nachos. The guacamole is too wonderful. Our waiter, Bryan is fabulous. HH is really a bargain! My girlfriends love to meet here. We call it the Club House), you are able to sit for hours. The food is authentic over the border, yum! Do not expect Tex-Mex . with gooey cheeses and sauces you get at most Mexican restaurants. There s is so good and different, you have to try. Hidden in a strip mall, once you find them, you ll be hooked forever.

Well, it was really quite disappointing, to say the least. We ordered our food, and the meals arrived shortly thereafter. That was the highlight the food was some of the worst I have ever tasted. I tasted a couple bites and it was so foul that I couldnt eat another. The staff noticed that I hadnt really touched my food. And they held a discussion about it. But instead of asking what was the matter? Or would I like something else? They just chose to act like they didnt see anything. They presented the bill to my friend who paid and then after the bill had been paid. Then they acted like they had just noticed they completely untouched play the food. And said oh you didnt like it. I think Ill leave it up to you to form an opinion about this establishment, That really could care less whether you enjoyed their food or not.

Crazy that the owner is ok with losing a weekly customer over half an ounce of salsa.. Ive been visiting this establishment every week for the past several weeks. I like to add (complementary) salsa to one of their dishes I eat there.. when I have any leftover, I ask for a small (.5oz) of salsa which they had been giving. Today I was refused the half ounce of salsa so I asked to speak to a manager who told me that the owner says now the very small to-go cup has to be paid for.. well your waiter could have told me that in the 1st place. He didnt even give me an option to pay for it. The manager said well sorry, its probably the language barrier.. b.s. I have the same waiter every week and he communicates and seems to understand me just fine.. and if you feel his language barrier is an issue, maybe hes not the best person to be interacting with paying customers that frequent this establishment weekly. Customer service is everything people!! I guess the table spoon of salsa was worth losing business.

I liked the decor of this restaurant. However, the food was not good with the exception of coconut flan (they were out of tres leches) & a pina colada, which were both delicious. Salsa, chicken tortilla soup and service are good here. Charro beans were pretty good but didnt really taste like Tex-mex. More like smoked beans for a BBQ cook off maybe. The chicken in the enchiladas was bland and flavorless, my photos did it justice because it literally looks grayish blue in person. The sour cream sauce is more like warm sour cream painted on to the enchiladas and also very bland. Rice is bland. The brisket chile relano was bland and the brisket seemed more like pot roast and chewy. Ambiance and decor are nice but it was absolutely freezing. The service was very good so I will add a star for that for sure. Sadly the food really tanks this place.

Honestly for it being a Tex-Mex restaurant, I gotta give it to them for being even better than some traditional Mexican restaurants I ve tried. The rice and beans are so flavorful but at the same time just right and perfect. I highly enjoy the enchiladas and I always stop by here when I m in the area. Chips are great!!
