Had a great time at Club Dada last night seeing my favorite 90s rock band - Dada, what a happy coincidence. Made the drive from Houston and glad I did. Great show in this tiny Deep Ellum venue and could not believe I was seeing my musical heroes up so close. Apparently some parents around my age brought their early 20s kids who seemed to know and love the music so it was a nice all ages show with a lot of energy. Dada really rocked but since their sound is not based on layers of guitars and synths you could really hear every note over the PA which I loved, and it was not deafening Staff was cool and drink prices are on par for bars these days, half of what you pay at a larger venue like House of Blues.

My daughter and I drove from Muskogee Oklahoma to Dallas Texas to go to Club data to see Livingston in concert. We had the best time Not only was Livingston a great performer but I got to meet him in person and his family! Livingston is a great singer and was very nice, his whole family was great. The staff at Club Dada, were very accommodating and very helpful, the atmosphere was wonderful. Ill never forget it!

It makes me really sad to post this review because Dada used to be a really great venue but whoever moved in next door now plays really loud club music and you can hear it clearly through the walls. When going to see artists that play quieter, less intense sets this is incredibly distracting. I ve now come to see two different bands here who have had to cut their sets short due to interruption. Another artist I really want to see is playing here in April but I don t think it s worth the price now. Nothing against the staff at Dada or the place next door, just an unfortunate neighbor placement.

Ive seen concerts inside and outside and both are super fun and spacious, and if you feel overwhelmed during an inside concert you can chill outside for a bit! Definitely enjoy this venue !

The line to check in for a Friday night concert began in the bar next door and spanned the block outside in the rain. The performers performed on their outdoor stage despite ongoing rain. Cool venue with good staff, but don t think I ll be coming back unless it s an indoor show or guaranteed weather. I wish they sold us ponchos or something!

Wish I could give 3 1/2 stars. The good. I like that it has a small capacity. I believe occupancy sign only allows for 99 people. So it makes for fun and intimate shows. The sound was great the two times I have been. You can also go outside where there appears to be reconstruction of a patio/brick patio area. There are a few seats with tables as well. The ok. Men s room urinal was working. But the toilet for other business was out of order. And looked like it may have been for a while. So, hope you only need to go #1. Suggestion. Would be nice to have a few bar tall tables and chairs stools due to the small space. Also nice to give some people places to sit inside if wanted/needed. My friend with me on recent concert has some leg issues so standing for an entire concert is difficult.

It was basically a dive bar which is fine if that s what you re looking for. The band was super fun but the sound was pretty tragic. Considering it s a concrete box with a tin roof, it s hard to get good sound. The bathrooms are disgusting. Know what you re getting yourself into and you will be fine. This is not a club or anything along that line. It s a place to maybe see a small band and have a beer.

i ve seen one and only one show here and it happened last night. before the main act went on, someone from the venue came in and started asking people to go outside because they oversold the event. they brought up the fire marshall and then tried to frame it as saving live music, but it was their greed that led to the venue being overcapacity. they were trying to lure people out to miss the show but still be able to hear the music outside with a free drink. this is an avoidable problem and the only people who can be considered at fault is the venue. i ll never buy another ticket if the artist is playing here

this venue is trash. they over sold a show and then told everyone there that the over half the attendees needed to go out back because they had exceeded the capacity, Threatened to not let the band play if it people didn t go outback of the venue. Mind you, lol, the back of this venue was a dilapidated area with dirt, no tables or chairs, and discarded wood everywhere (real safe). and you can t see the stage or artist from there, but you can hear it really well . they expected the PAYING GUESTS to not have the desired experience of the concert because they couldn t handle being competent enough to not sell more tickets than allowed capacity. The whole thing was so chaotic and unprofessional and the customers were the sole people that suffered. I m so unimpressed. In classic Google review fashion, would give 0 stars if could. Maybe learn ticket sales 101 if y all are gonna run a live music venue .

It s hard to appreciate music or ambiance when you re fighting to not die from heat stroke. It was 110 degrees outside and maybe hotter inside. They had temporary a/c units but they weren t cutting it. The poor band almost fell out from exhaustion. If your A/C goes out in the middle of July in Texas, you need to postpone and reschedule your events.

Great place for mingling and turning up the back area provides that balance when you want to take a breather. Perfect follow-up if youre coming from The N9nes (Nines) Club around the corner and you really want to keep the fun going.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WENT TO MAIN BAR AND TOLD THE FEMALE BARTENDER I WANTED TO START A TAB AND HANDED HER MY DEBIT CARD. I TOLD HER TO GIVE ME 2 BEERS. SHE HANDED ME MY 2 BEERS AND GAVE ME MY DEBIT CARD BACK WHICH I THOUGHT WAS WEIRD BECAUSE THEY USUALLY HOLD ON TO IT TIL YOU TAB OUT. ANYWAY I ENDED UP LOSING MY DEBIT CARD SO I WENT TO THE BAR AND TOLD THEM I LOST MY CARD AND I WANTED TO CLOSE MY TAB. I WANTED TO LEAVE A TIP AND THEN I PLANNED TO CALL AND HAVE MY CARD CANCELLED. I SPOKE WITH A TALL WHITE GUY WHO WAS BARTENDING BECAUSE I DIDNT SEE THE GIRL THAT STARTED MY TAB. WELL THE TALL WHITE BARTENDER LOOKS AROUND THE REGISTER AND SAYS I DONT HAVE YOUR CARD, LOOK AT YOU YOU LOOK DRUNK YOU PROBABLY LOST IT I STOOD IN SHOCK BECAUSE FIRST I WASNT DRUNK I ONLY HAD THOSE 2 BEERS, SECOND THEY SHOULD NOT BE TALKING TO CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT, THIRD I HAD TOLD HIM ALREADY I HAD LOST MY CARD AND I WANTED TO CLOSE OUT THE TAB. SO I WAS UPSET AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANGER AND HIS SNOTTY REMARK WAS I DONT KNOW WHERE HE IS, YOULL HAVE TO WAIT SO I WAITED AND NOBODY EVER CAME. I ASKED OTHER EMPLOYEEES FOR THE MANAGER AND THEY ALL BLEW ME OFF. I CANCELLED MY CARD AND NEVER GOT TO LEAVE THE FEMALE BAR A TIP. I DONT EVER PLAN ON GOING BACK. TERRIBLE BARTENDER
