I had the pleasure of working with the Vela Wood team (more specifically, Rad Wood) during 2017. At my request, Rad & team quickly and accurately created a complex financial structure. The structure involved several entities that fall under various state and federal regulations. Despite the complex task, the Vela Wood team performed the job flawlessly. If you need legal advice for a startup company in Dallas, Kevin Vela is the man to talk to. Ive used Legal Zoom in the past, and they rally screwed us, so Ive talked to a number of lawyers to find solutions, but they were never clear on how to solve our problems and even tried to charge for the initial consultation. But when I met up with Kevin, he provided us clear answers to all the questions I had and offered to take care of all the problems I had at a very reasonable price! Once my startup takes off, I fully intend to repay him by bringing him more business to handle our legal needs.
