Good spot for a bite to eat and beer/wine. We had a 10-top. Food came out quick and service was excellent. We enjoyed our food, which I would rate as an 8/10. Gluten free options available, but limited here.

I love the feel and look of this place. Was really looking forward to early dinner and watching a football game. We went on Sunday around 3, and waited 5+ minutes at the front , behind other waiting patrons, before we were even saw an employee come up , he approached the host stand and greeted no-one and headed straight to the hostess phone, he spoke to a customer for a few moments , then he greeted those ahead of us. Then we received a very shy and quiet host greeting from him, he wasn t rude but was very disconnected and uninterested , it seemed as though he didn t even want to be there.. then we were seated. It wasn t crowded at all so I was surprised that everything took so long. We waited another 5 or so minutes for the server to approach our table , She was great overall, and the main reason I would return. We ordered 2 drinks, and chips with queso. After what felt like forever the queso arrived and tasted burnt and chalky , would not order that again, and it was not worth the price. After the whole experience we decided not to stay any longer. We finished our drinks and tabbed out to head elsewhere. This was a very disappointing experience , I picked the Euless location hoping it wouldn t be too busy and we would have an enjoyable day date , this was not the case. It seemed as though NO one wanted to be working there. I will go here again but I will have 0 expectations.

Its been a year, thought Id update. This has become one of my fave solo date eateries. Their southwest chicken salad is yummy. I absolutely love the scenery from the shaded patio. Whether I dine in or take out, the service is always pleasant. Big shoutout to the server Kat- she has assisted me on a few visits, and shes always very nice & accommodating.

Such a nice lunch today (Sep. 5)! The patio was so comfy with the cooler temps. Our waiter, Gage, was very attentive and personable. I had the GOCHUJANG BBQ PORK & KIMCHI FRIED RICE*, which was out of this world fabulous! Add the Peticolas Velvet Hammer to wash it all down and Im set for the day! Super experience.

Tried the smoked pork ramen. Definitely not a typical ramen or what I was expecting. Its very spicy with fresh jalapeños. The smoked pork actually worked well with the dish. The celery could have been skipped, and adding thicker ramen noodles would put it over the top. The broth had a lot of depth and flavor. I definitely enjoyed it. Id recommend it and order it again. The staff was very friendly and did check on us, but the drinks were empty before they usually inquired. Nice atmosphere and inviting.

Loved the Reuben sandwich! Lots of pastrami, delicious rye bread grilled just right, yummy dressing...Just needed a little more sauerkraut to be perfect for me. Coleslaw was fresh and tasty. My friend had a delicious Brussels salad that I want to try next time. The only problem was parking is a little walk and GPS doesnt know the location well. Parking: You will walk a little.

Not a bad place to go after work. Food is pretty good, nothing crazy to write home about though. Our waitress was wonderful, and didnt give me in issue when I wasnt crazy about my first cocktail and brought me a better replacement. The Blood Orange Mezcal margarita tastes like the smell of a wet ashtray. Stick with their Greyhound, which was refreshing and tasty. Great beer selection Parking: We had to park behind the restaurant, about half a block away. Dont try to park upfront at this location because it is in a shopping strip.

Update: I reached out to the contact that responded to my review no response. I guess they didn t want to have a conversation after all. A friend and I stopped in to have girl time over drinks. We sat at the bar, nice bar staff, very friendly and welcoming. We weren t a fan of the drinks, they were lacking in flavor for us. I believe fresh or frozen fruit is utilized, which I m all for but something has to be added to make up for the lack of flavor. Also, we both noticed not much was in our glasses lol.

Wow, the atmosphere is astronomical, dark and you can engage in a one on conversation with your loved ones. The food is decent, but too expensive, the servers, yeah I never had a problem with them. Additionally, the host are engaging and get me right most of the time. BUT ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !!! Why do you make your hosts and hostesses buzz the tables then immediately hand customers utensils and menus. Whoever owns the establishment, get your stuff together, make more host work together, and distinguish the position between cleaning tables and seating people. Please, cause germs is not it. In between baseball games, trying to find a place with options for the family and keep it light for the ball player so we chose to try the Thirsty Lion. It was a fun atmosphere with plenty of seating and TVs. we happened to make it during happy hour which I loved bc it wasn t happy hour for just drinks but food too. There were quite a few items of variety for everyone. Again, Trying to stay on the lighter side, we ordered the garlic edamame, spicy tuna roll and calamari for apps. Then for entrees, we had chicken Caesar salad, California Rolls, Poke stack and Salmon w/veggies. Honestly, the items we probably would not order again would be the garlic edamame-they had a lot of sauce but really didn t have the flavor. The spicy Tuna Roll was pretty good but didn t have the kick we were looking for. However, I will say the Salmon and veggies were cooked just right and had so much flavor! Maybe we ordered the wrong items, maybe we had higher expectations. Either way, we will probably go back another time and try the other items on the menu that are more pub foods.

We had a large group having a farewell lunch on Friday(25+). They had no problem taking our reservation and servicing us without any extra restrictions unlike other places. The table was set and ready to serve us on time and the staffs were very friendly and professional. Food and drinks came out in timely manner even though they were one cook short. How impressive! Great first time visit at the pub. My friend and I had the best dinner and service from Michaela. The Baja Fish tacos are the best! The flavors are sublime and enticing. The three tacos are also quite fulfilling. The black beans that come with are okay. I also tried the Traditional Scotch Eggs and Sauteed Brussels Sprouts (sans bacon). Both were tasty. The six eggs are at great shared appetizer. The Blood Orange Margarita is highly suggested, but our drinks had too much ice. Im sure thats an easy fix. Overall, Im excited to visit again in the future. Vegetarian options: Decent selection of items available. Parking: Plenty of parking available including a parking garage.

Drinks and food are not too bad, the atmosphere was pretty good overall. Rating it only 3 just for those reasons as this was my fiancé s and I first visit, we wish we were greeted and spoken to better. There was a young man wearing glasses that walked us to our table but he seemed as if he didn t want to be there with his attitude and his demeanor. We asked if we could not sit in the middle instead we wanted a booth but he just shrugged his shoulders and his responses were careless. I understand when your young working in food service it may not seem like a big deal but it s a job nonetheless and there should be a little more effort when your dealing with customers.

We went on a Monday evening during happy hour. The host was very nice and seated me immediately while waiting for family to arrive. The waitress suggested the blood orange margarita which was delicious! She also suggested the bacon wrapped shrimp. I initially didn t think I would like the dish cause of all the bbq sauce but they were very tasty! My cousin had a martini and the queso and enjoyed both. Honestly this has been a very good visit today at Thirsty Lion. My server for today was Mitzary and she was amazing, she greeted us with a big smile and was very caring to me and my girlfriend, she made sure we was taken cared of for sure. I highly recommend the seasonal (read no longer available) seared ahi appetizer... not necessarily the poke stack (not that it isnt good!) but updating, months later without much change. Had a Manhattan and the grilled Atlantic Salmon. Everything is delicious, as always, but I cant click the fifth star because the portion of salmon for a $25 entree of salmon is lacking in substance. Even id f cooked and seasoned well. At the same time around I find myself wondering is there a better option within reasonable distance? For that question I still dont know. But the competition in Southern CA would force this out of business quickly, as well done as all the meals are. Im torn, I still love every bite, but feel like Im overpaying at the same time. Id still say come at least once. Theres a reason Im back months later, and its not the first time in between. Service is always great too. Shoutout to Liz tonight. Not bothersome but professional and attentive. Couldnt ask for more. Overall great. Have been several times and will be back. Highly recommend trying at least once if you havent. Its just more of a date spot than somewhere to make a regular visit too. Alex makes an amazing Manhattan and is 100% why the service is rated 5 stars on my review. Friendly, knowledgeable, and generally fun to converse with - hes there for lunches and early afternoon. Always pleasant interactions with other staff as well, but hes a standout. I only drop one star as it always feels just a little bit pricy for what it is. This is especially true for the markup on things like a truly seltzer and similar pre-packaged, unprepared products. I consume a lot, and have spent well over $50/person here more than once, up to $100/person with tip. There are places in Southlake Id rather go for that price point.

Excellent service provided by Isaiah. Food was great. The only negative things were that the tortilla chips for spinach dip weren t the freshest and they were out of the blood orange tea; however, the friendliness and promptness of service was great. The food options were great too especially for those needing gluten-free. Will definitely come back as the team all seemed to give top-notch customer service.
