My wife and I just want to say that Mehr Singh has sincerely exceeded our hopes and concerned desires for a quality defense lawyer for our son. Compared to the first lawyer that my son decided to let go, Mr. Singh was far and above more professional, compassionate, honest and totally upfront with us and with our son. We definitely feel that he was truly in our corner and willing to fight for the best outcome possible. Although we were told that it was not in our best interest to change lawyers this far into our situation, all we can say is that for our son and for us as his parents, it was absolutely and without question the right decision. I found Attorney Mehr by the grace of God/lots of research. He was professional, timely, and most importantly kept me updated. I highly recommend him and want to stress that without him there is no way I would be in good standing with the court like I am today. He never gave me unrealistic expectations and explained all the legal terms to me. I met with two other lawyers who were going to take my case and each time..I was disappointed...I ended up taking days off work/ struggled to find a babysitter and wasted money. Mehr Singh @ Law office of Hurley & Guinn... What can I say other than, He put it down! My husband was in federal custody completing his sentence, when I found Mehr, and still had three local charges: aggravated assault with a deadly weapon first degree felony, which was dismissed, possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver second degree felony, and a money laundering charge, also dismissed! We had representation already, but we werent satisfied with them. He has had some good representation but hands down Mehr has been the best! From the very first meeting with him to my husband signing even until now he has given more than one means of communication, and you get him not his secretary! He was even willing and did meet with me on the weekends because of my work schedule. $10,000 may have seemed like a lot especially during this covid-19 pandemic but damn sure worth it. After facing 25 to life, a two-time felon, my husband was able to come out on top with a 3-year sentence and will be home very soon. Mehr Sighn had that drive and showed that he wanted to fight for us and he did just that! I would recommend him as one of the best criminal defense attorneys, yet in Lubbock county!
