I had signed a contract with the creditor and the law firm about making payment arrangements. When one of my payments would not go through the creditor tried to contact my attorney, they said we no longer represent her. They stated I broke the contract and I had t pay the full amount. So I almost had to pay the full amount. I paid the law firm over $700 to represent me. I guess once they get a contract for you they are done. The people were not very personable and I had to reach out to them to get any response. I would not use them again.

Communication is absolutely atrocious. I could not for the life of me get any emails answered and I really sent only a few in a few months time (replies to her email). The last one I sent was completely ignored altogether & that was obvious by the settlement letter I received today. Now I probably have to wait another 2-3 weeks for a response, then another 2-3 weeks for them to fix the deadline since they ignored my email and need to add to the agreement. I honestly cannot wait for this to be done and over with. I don t know where all of these other good reviews came from, but couldn t have been for the person I was left with. I gave an extra star only because the settlement is finally almost over.

The three collection cases Mr. Thomas handled for me were dispatched of in a professional manner with great results. One case went away the second case was settled for pennies on the dollar. One more update. I am so impressed with how everything was handled after the rocky start. I have received all my documents needed and collection already taken off credit report. I appreciate everything Liz, Yvonne and MacKenzie have done on my behalf. Last update. Liz and Yvonne have went above and beyond to get the outcome I have been hoping for. Will definitely be referring this company to everyone who is going through the same thing I was. Latest update: I received the promised phone call from Liz with some answers and lots of info. I do have to question the fact that why did it take so long to reach this point but very pleased with what has been presented to me and for me. These guys are incredible! I was being sued by a creditor and was really freaked out because I had never been through this before. The second I got the letter I called Tom Thomas and sent them the information. They jumped on it and told me that calling them right away was the best choice. I was able to schedule payments with them that was affordable and they communicated with me the entire time through their portal. I got a wonderfully surprising outcome that took a lot of stress off me. Everyone was friendly and super helpful. I was speaking with Ashley for a consultation and after three days of sending her every document I had on the case she still could not confirm whether or not the firm could take my case. My trial was coming up and finding representation was a time sensitive matter which she knew but every time I pushed for confirmation she would just stop emailing back or email that it was still pending attorney approval. I began looking for representation elsewhere and spoke with three other law firms who all gave me quotes and let me know whether they could take the case all within the first few minutes, giving them only basic details. Emails stopped with me asking if they would be taking my case again and she never bothered to email me back.

Besides this company doing there job I m completely frustrated with their lack of communication. If I was not constantly calling and emailing random people I would never know what actually was going on. I never was walked through this process by anyone. No one ever reached out to let me know court dates or what I should expect throughout this process. Thomas is a lifesaver. I was being sued and had my bank account account frozen while watching the debt collector remove all my money that I needed to pay my bills. Completely cleaned me out.
