I m not even sure where to start. We started our consular process with the lawyer Kim. We requested to do Advance Parole and we did it. When we got back from advance parole, my husband got a legal entry. I have heard from friends experiences about them adjusting status in the US since they got their legal entry. That s exactly what my husband and I wanted to do. Kim, the lawyer, treated us with disrespect. When I told him we wanted to switch to AOS. he said that USCIS was NOT adjusting status to those who entered with Advance Parole. That they would only take cases from 2020 down. He even told me just because your husband entered legally, that does not make him legal . He also talked to us like if we had no knowledge. He even wanted to bring someone to translate because he tought we didn t understand. He even went as far as saying that I worried to much/exaggerate that s not what a lawyer should say to any client going to through this process. The fact that he told us that USCIS was not doing AOS and that my husband basically would not be eligible is NOT OKAY. He is giving FALSE information to his clients. This firm really needs to be up to date with this information on immigration. My husband would have risked going to Juarez which would have taken LONGER and a much more dangerous route to take. Thankfully we did in fact filled AOS and did get his green card here in the U.S. with a different law firm. Something that the lawyer said he would be lucky to get. We do have to give thanks to Esmeralda who helped us with any questions that we had.

I wish I had read the reviews first. This office has the worst communication skills ever. They never followed through. We had to constantly keep calling them, and they would never call back. My wife used them to file for her citizenship application, and we should have just filed it ourselves and saved $750.....

First let me say that communication is horrible. We have had to inquire about updates many times and we still have no answers about my dad s ongoing case. The assistant Esmeralda has told us multiple times we would get a call back and we don t. Our mistake was to fully pay before the process is anywhere close to finishing and it seems like they are slowing down with the process after getting their fees. Overall, we should not have to demand for answers on the status of the application and instead we should be updated at least once a month but we don t hear anything for months.

To maintain legal status for the extended duration until receiving a green card, the lawyer has been assisted throughout challenging conditions which required additional steps and care to resolve the cases. During the H-1 visa, it was easy to go through and also helped to negotiate with employers who may not be so familiar with the process to keep on track. It was greatful to work with the lawyer who not only went through myself but also rest of family in various cases.

If you are Hispanic and trying to get your paperwork i don t recommend this lawyer is hard to communicate and after so long I still don t get my green card or any information from them back to know what happened. I ve texted them through email, phone and called multiple times but no answer, so now we have to pay another lawyer to help us out. Not the best experience in my opinion.

Update. Speaking of Facts. I had to call and text multiple times simply to set up an appointment and get confirmation text which never happened. I never hung up. I just said I don t need your service. Thanks for quickly throwing me under the bus. 100 points for great customer service! Original Review I was ignored multiple times from this office. Very poor communication. 0. I called in and received a text saying I can set up an appointment. 1. I texted back to set up an appointment. Ignored. 2. I followed up on a text. Ignored again. 3. I do not recommend this company at all!! they messed up my case! Mr. Chan Park, did not send important documents to the immigration office. I had an interview, and only when there was an interview the officer said that there form I485 was missing. He forgot to include this FORM he was never send proof of ours marriage, no pictures, nothing. But when we are preparing our case, we gave him all proof of our marriage. Nothing at all. We also live in Austin and he indicated that we live in Dallas!!!! How could you be so careless about your work? We paid a lot of money for this. We need to go through this again with humiliation and lose money again! Thanks to this company for ruining my future.

Visited Jack Kims office to get help on getting some documents from immigration. Jack Kim helped on preparing document requests but somehow I wasnt able to receive the documents I paid for. Mr. KIM was prompt, honest, and very competent in area of immigration. Mr. KIM helped me to obtain H1B work visa. I was very satisfied with his work and success. At first, because of a couple technical issues with my employer, we had some problem in obtaining the approval. UPDATE: The review below was posted almost two years ago. We recently spoke with Mr. Kim regarding the renewal process for my wifes green card, and it came to light that Google had actually erased several of his reviews rated excellent, because they did not believe that he could be consistently offering such good service?!?!?! Let me just say this... Go meet with him before choosing a immigration lawyer. You will not be disappointed. Please read my review below, it is all factual and true. Thanks again Mr. Kim! I dont usually take the time to write reviews on things, but if you are seeking an immigration attorney, then you probably feel that your decision could be one of the most important decisions in your life. I am a US citizen, my wife was here illegally. She also had a few uncommon scenarios regarding her status, and we needed an expert. We shopped around for months, looking at the Texas Super Lawyers list, other publications that ranked lawyers, etc. It seems to me that most of the other attorneys that specialize in immigration that were listed as a Super Lawyer were nominated by other lawyers and their own firm. We went and interviewed with a few of these super lawyers, and while Im sure most of them would have done a good job, they also charged an extremely high rate. While price was no object, in the end, we went with Jack Kim. We asked ourselves, what was more important, a Super Lawyer ranking given by lawyers, to lawyers, or did we want to go with a lawyer who had EXCELLENT reviews from the people he has actually helped with their immigration issues. (If you look online, youll see that not too many of these Super Lawyers have any reviews from their clients.) We met with Mr. Kim and he immediately gave us some great information (that actually proved another lawyer we spoke with was wrong.) He was very nice and we felt a lot better meeting with him than the other lawyers we had met with. Mr. Kim and his staff took our case, and even went the extra mile when an official translation was needed for some of our documents, and did not charge us extra. He coached us for our interview and was present for it as well. I cant tell you how happy my wife is to finally have legal status. We owe it all to Jack Kim. Trust me, if you need an immigration attorney, you cant go wrong with him, and for an extremely fair price compared to his peers. Mr. Kim, thank you, from both of us.
