I have been a client of Attorney James Aulbaugh s since December of 2021. Prior to hiring him, I had numerous meetings with other attorneys, but each one seemed to either oversell their abilities or wanted to provide a cookie cutter solution to my legal issues. I hired James because he presented himself as straightforward and honest. He also displayed a level of professionalism above other attorneys I spoke with, both in his personal appearance and in his communication style. Upon initially hiring James, he presented a creative plan of attack for my specific legal matter (concerning allegations of domestic violence) that I didn t realize was a possibility. I had high hopes that the initial plan to work through my case would provide a more expeditious resolution; unfortunately, the first plan did not go through. Something that stood out to me, was that James didn t allow that to push him away from the working towards our intended resolution. Our next plan of attack was for me to apply for the Texas Veterans Court program. Fairly early on, James requested any necessary documents needed to submit me for the program. At some point in time, I received military orders out of the state of Texas, and James continued to be flexible to keep me updated. After being accepted for the Texas Veterans Court program, James and I waited and waited and waited. I was confident that he was diligent in finding me answers on the next steps. We never truly received any information from the Veterans Court Team, and I don t know exactly how James did it but after almost 3 years (now 2024), we got the resolution I wanted a dismissal. More personal details about how James Aulbaugh helped me: James treated me like a human being during one of the worst times of my life. He was honest and realistic about why some things may have taken longer, or what things could look like in the future for someone in my shoes. Still, at no point in time did he ever make me feel like things were hopeless. The biggest thing I noticed about my interactions with him is that, if I reached out, he got back to me almost immediately! He also had an in-depth knowledge about law that gave me confidence as his client. Overall, I would highly recommend James Aulbaugh. I doubt many people know how to navigate the legal world and build upon an attorney/client relationship the way he does. To James: Thank you. Thank you for representing and defending me, with a genuine interest in seeing the resolution I was looking for. Thank you for treating me like a human being. Thank you for helping me with me the chance to pick my life back up and keep moving forward.

I WILL RECOMMEND MR. AULBAUGH TO ANYONE NEEDING A LAWYER!!! My husband and I were both facing two third degree felony cases a piece and we were referred to him from another lawyer. From the moment we met him, he sat with us in his office for hours and listened to us and explained to us how everything works. I m very skeptical of people but I felt very reassured that we would be in good hands at that point. Best Lawyer Hands down !!! I m on probation for 4 felony charges and Caught a new Felony. Not only did i get released on a PR bond (which never happens if your on probation) My new case was dismissed in 6 months !!! And they continued my probation. I ve had plenty lawyers and been in the system since i was 14 I m 27 now and never seen a dedicated lawyer. He ALWAYS communicates with you. He makes sure you understand the whole process. With all lawyers I have much skepticism as so many are no better than the people who they supposed to be representing, however Mr Aulbaugh never gave me that feeling at all. He was extremely knowledgeable & informative during our meeting & I felt that my money would be well spent with him & I was right. My first experience with having to hire a defense attorney couldnt have been better. A family member was in an unfortunate legal situation which could only be resolved in the courts with competent representation. Since attorneys many times tend to get a bad rap, I didnt really know what to expect. Lucky for me Mr. James Aulbaugh was recommended to me by a dear friend.
