Wow what a waste of money! If you want a contract explained to you like a child by an annoyed adult this is your guy! All he does is quickly review your non compete and tells you what you already know. What s worse is that he reviews your contract WHILE you re in the meeting! Way to prep Mr. Robert!

I worked closely with this firm for almost three years, on a contentious lawsuit I had with my former employer over some clients that followed me to my new employer. My former employer sued me, seeking a multi-six-figure buyout. Wood Edwards obtained court rulings holding that I didnt owe the buyout and scored important victories in several court hearings. For every deposition and hearing, they were very prepared, and were great advocates. Robert Wood handled a business litigation suit for me between my former employer and my company. He was knowledgeable, thorough, and sharp. The other side had an arrogant, bully of an attorney and Robert put him right in his place, professionally and took charge of the matter. We always knew where Robert stood, as he counseled us on our options at each stage of the suit. The other side offered a settlement which was substantially more than what we were willing to pay. By the end of then negotiations, Robert had the other side begging for less than what we were originally willing to settle for and ultimately had them dismiss their case altogether. No settlement. No new contract. No concessions.They were forced to dismiss their case. We could not have prayed for a better outcome. I would definitely recommend him for anyone in need of representation for any kind of business litigation.

I own small local company. I was sue for hiring two people who has signed none compete with their previous employer. My company was sue as were the two men I had hired. The plaintiff sought a TRO, seeking to stop me from from keeping my new employees. Robert Wood meet with us, gathered the information and documents we needed, and then when to court and defeated the TRO. Later that same day, the other side dismissed the case. After getting this result, Robert returned some of my un used retainer. I highly recommend this firm.

The team at Wood Edwards took over our complex breach of contract law suit filed in Maryland Federal court when venue was changed to Texas. They prosecuted our allegations efficiently, effectively, and successfully to a multi-million dollar judgment against the defendants. When I left my previous medical practice, I had a noncompete agreement, and I thought that a legal dispute was possible. My previous employer aggressively attempted to enforce the noncompete, seeking to prevent me from practicing as a physician in my main practice area. They sought a temporary restraining order, but their application was denied. Throughout the lawsuit, Robert Wood was a prepared and tenacious advocate for me. The lawsuit was resolved so that I could continue working in my speciality. I am very pleased with the result and would recommend Mr. Wood to anyone being pursued on a noncompete.

Rude as hell if you have a sexual harassment claim don t even bother to call!!! The gentleman and I m using the term loosely answers the phone cold and dry Law Office . At that moment I knew to take my matter else where I felt like my phone call was a burden to him. He tell me, WE DONT HAVE TIME WE HAVE TOO MANY call this number_______!!!

I called in to have a consultation and without even hearing the full story they was very rude and not interested. The guy stated they are so slammed with cases that if they think a case wont make enough money they arent interested and they have to pick and chose there cases. They seem to care more about there wallets than helping people that have real legal issues. Again was very rude and unprofessional. I would advise anyone considering them to go elsewhere if you want lawyers with real concern about your case and not just how much money they can get out the deal.

Throughout the whole process of being sued, Robert was a real winner. He does not settle for anything less than a win. Being sued unexpectedly by my last employer for a non-compete was very stressful, but Robert was able to handle things in such a professional way that it was calming. Through the whole process, I really got to know Robert and he has so many characteristics that it really makes him stand out from any other attorneys. I am extremely pleased with Robert Wood at Lindquist, Wood and Edwards, LLP. I first contact him to get some advise on if I should hire counsel for a legal matter and he provided me with direct black and white advice which is precisely what I wanted. He didnt pressure me into hiring him but initially just provided some sound advise. Eventually, I did decide to hire him as the situation progressed. After he helped me resolve that matter, he suggested he take a look at my non-compete and then helped me create a better version that protected me and my business better. I feel so much relief now that I have these new legal documents and I know exactly who to go to should I ever need to enforce them. The biggest thing I appreciated about Robert was just how direct and straightforward he was. I had spoken to two other lawyers who wasted my time and money with unnecessary phone conversations. I do not live in the state of Texas but was sued by a Texas company that I had been employed by for a number of years. I hired an attorney in the city that I live in but we quickly determined that we needed a member of the Texas Bar to assist our local council here in Florida. That being said, Robert Wood accepted that role and was invaluable to our defense to get the matter settled. If I again needed representation in Texas, I know that I could depend on Robert Wood to represent me to protect my interest even though I could not be present 100% of the time in the Texas Courts.
