Last 2 times service is awful. Food is generally good. Waitress is too busy to check on tables because shes got her back to customers talking to people behind the bar . 1:00 pm and cant break a 100 dollar bill for $30 + ticket. Used to eat here frequently but seems to be taking a downhill ride.

Parking: Visiting Dallas and love trying new food. Verona did not disappoint. Q was an amazing waiter. Emily the hostess was nice. We were sat immediately. Ordered per Q recommendations and it was amazing. I had Shrimp Florentine and wings. Those wings are so good. We had calamari, shrimp alfredo, calzone, pizza (all great), and mozzarella sticks (ok). I would definitely go back. 10/10 recommended

Verona is my new favorite restaurant!! Tried the Mozzarella caprese, cannoli and Frutti Di Mare last night via delivery and I am absolutely blown away!! Not only is the price more than reasonable, they take good care packaging delivery orders. So many places throw your food in styrofoam boxes that you cannot keep warm on the oven! My order arrives neatly and HOT that is unheard of!! They do not cut corners!! And the food... WOW!! Absolutely delicious!! I would eat here everyday (actually I ordered here twice in a row, so my streak is good!) The sauce is so well balanced, ingredients are top notch! Lastly, the staff delivering my order were incredibly kind and thoughtful, which I appreciate so much. They do not bang in your door and throw your food at you! They are professional and friendly with a smile (that was the cherry on top!) Best Italian in DFW! I am excited to try everything on the menu in the future

Normally I would just drive down the road. But this time I decided to check it out and woww.. they have more than a few lunch specials all great choices. Great service and amazing food. The were about 8 tables when I walked in. It table for 2 my 14 month son and I. Which he love the food. Nataly did an amazing job despite being a bit busy serving all those tables. Everything tasted delicious and those rolls wow..oh my straight out the over good outside crust and steaming hot on the inside. Woww pasta combo was amazing, flavorful and cheesy. We ordered delivery, the dinner arrived on time but the food was seriously lacking. My husband threw away his Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo because it was horrible and tasted like flour and water without a hint of sauce, the chicken was dry as well. We were small group, eight to be exact. I ordered the stuffed mushrooms. They were delicious. We asked about the sauce in the mushrooms, and there was a pasta served with the sauce. The waiter said Penne a la vodka. Five out of the eight of us ordered the penne. I went simple, baked spaghetti with sausage and peppers. But the cook went too simple. The spaghetti was absent of flavor, except for the natural flavor of the sausage and peppers, which were at the bottom of the plate. So while the majority of the group was savoring the vodka sauce, I sat regretting my choice. At least I had tasted the mushrooms.

Fabulous restaurant, staff is professional polite and accommodating in every way. I had the scar pella, with chicken breast was one of the best pink sauces Ive ever had. Compliments to the chef. My waitress Amelia was the best, she only two weeks here and is a perfect addition. I like the food here. I always get full and end up with leftovers. They bring you fresh warm bread to the table. My favorite is the Baked Ziti with sausage. The pizza is a thumbs up for me, the shrimp Alfredo pizza is really good (a bit pricey but it is shrimp) The waitress was super nice and attentive. They have a bar with tvs but theyre not blaring loud. Some people were watching a sports game last time I went. You can also call and place an order to go.

The food was great. Two pizzas covered 2 adults, 2 teens, and a preteen. We went on a weekend afternoon, and it was not overly crowded. We had no wait time to sit. The margarita pizza was the favorite we also had the veggie pizza. I dont think you can go wrong with any of them. The crust was great. Only down fall was the center of the pizza was a bit soggy (not much per slice) to where the rest had a nice chrisp texture.

To all former New Yorkers, you have to try their pizza. I m not sure if it s still the same owners who were Albanian, but they know how to make a good pie. I send all my east coast transplants there and they agree. The only thing is that you have to ask them to cook the pizza well done or crispy because they will cook it like a Texas style pizza where the cheese isn t cooked fully. Tomato sauce on the pizza makes it tastes good, and you get the crackle of the slice when you fold it in half.

Picked up pizza Togo from Verona Italian Restaurant, it was AMAZING! They use quality ingredients, the flavor was great, and they don t skimp on ingredients. The price is right, about $20 for an XL pizza, which feeds about 3-4 people. The size of the slices are massive. The inside looked very nice and clean when I went to pick up the pizza. Hope to come back for dine in some day! Highly recommend this place!

The quality of good is not what it used to be. Ordered a sicillian pie to go that is not what I got. The crust was very thin ,(sicillian is supposed to be a thick deep dish pizza like a Chicago style) The cheese was mealy the sauce was too salty . It was awful The chicken in my carficioli was tough and dry. I noticed my son in law hardly ate his Aristocrat I do hope they get their act together soon I would not recommend this place now. LOVED the stromboli! It was very generous, stuffed to the gills and then some, and very tasty! Since Salis closed, we were looking for a nearby place to get our stromboli fix, and this looks like the place. Am looking forward to going back soon to check out some of their other offerings... like the eggplant Parmigiana... it looked so good when we saw it going to another table. My one request, and perhaps they already offer it... pizza by the slice! My husband and I arent super-heavy eaters, so even a small pizza would be too much for just the two of us, but a nice big slice with a salad for each of us and (maybe) a shared dessert is just right! The service was also good-- no helicopter waitresses, but our waitress was on the ball and attentive if we needed anything... which really, we didnt, because it was taken care of before we HAD to ask. And the decor was nice, too, without being hokey or overdone. We will be back... soon, I hope! EDITED: We did go back, and this time I tried the Primavera. Delicious! The veggies were colorful and crisp-tender, not limp and overcooked, and the Alfredo sauce was smooth, comforting and not overwhelming with TONS of garlic to overpower the other flavors of the dish. We have added Verona to our restaurant rotation and while wo dont go EVERY week, we do go when we want something a bit more uptown than usual. Definitely worth the trip.

Let me start out by saying the food is great! However, I called and asked if they had gluten free options (stating that I am celiac) and was told yes. I made the server double check with the chef to make sure even the sauce was gluten free and again was told yes. After ordering food I tested it with my Nima gluten tester and it tested positive for gluten. This review isn t to bash the taste of the food but just to warn those who are celiac.

The mat carpet at the entrance of their store stank ugh..like wet mold that had been there for years...We were seated the lighting, was very bright and harsh, when I asked to seated somewhere else, I was given some lame, excuse. The bus boy or cleaner guy, was also sweeping under my feet at the table. It was an professional way to treat your finner guest

I was staying at a local hotel in the area. I called and ordered a chicken dish to be delivered. My first clue there might be a problem was I had to repeat the address four (4) times to the person on the phone taking the order. I was very clear also giving them the hotels name, hoping they were familiar with the area. He told me that my total came to $24.81 and the order had to be $25. for delivery. I asked about deserts and he mentioned they had cannolis. I asked if they were made fresh and he replied yes every day. After a brief time, I got a call from the delivery driver saying he was outside my door. I went to the door and no one was there. When I asked him what hotel he was at, he could not answer me. When he finally got to the correct hotel and to my room, the food was less than hot. As I started to prepare to eat my meal I noticed there were no utensils in the bag. I called the delivery driver back and he said you had to request utensils. He said he could bring some back but it would take about 45 minutes. I called the restaurant and spoke with a woman who at first was very polite but also said you have to request utensils. When I said, how would I know that since it is my first time, and it is for delivery? She replied, I dont know how you should know, but thats how we do it. She then became very rude and suggested it was incumbent on me to provide my own utensils when ordering from that restaurant. The food was at best, mediocre, the cannoli was as stale and hard as a brick. Never will I use this place again.

Verona is our favorite little place for date night, when craving Italian or just a really good pizza, the salmon verona is so delicious! Lemon pepper Salmon on a bed of angel hair pasta with capers, always great and the perfect size portion. Would recommend them to everyone.

Tried to call and place a very simple to go order. Was put on hold and hung up on. I called another 10 times, busy every time. So I drove to the restaurant to place the order there. Waited several minutes inside before someone ever greeted me. I was told to go to the bar where I was also never greeted and crammed in with other people. Zero coronavirus precautions here. And zero service. I will return zero times.

Verona is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant with friendly staff and wonderful food. My faves are the salads(fresh and crunchy with a very nice house dressing) and linguine with white clam sauce. Their meat sauce is awesome on any sort of pasta youd like. I found this place by simply using a coupon I got in the mail, so glad I tried it out as its now a family fave.

We recently dined here for a family birthday. Dinner exceeded my expectations. The portions were large and service was fantastic. Verona is definitely a great option if you re looking for quick, tasty Italian in East Dallas.
