Our legal assistant Diana Arellano was great! She was very helpful and was prompt to return our calls. When we had any questions that she couldn t answer she would contact our immigration attorney to have these answered. Our process took very long but it was worth it and they provided us with all the documents to make sure our process ran smoothly. Before we went to our appointment Diana informed us well and guided us step by step and our immigration attorney reached out to make sure everything was going well while we were in Juarez. I know there were things that took longer than expected and there were for sure hurdles along the way but overall it was a good experience.

Very Poor Communication, they talk big with no actual results specially when it comes to difficult cases. I was able to gain my residency in as little as 3 month! It took this firm 5 month to respond to an email only. I wasted multiple years of putting my trust in them and all I was told was to wait! Do your research before signing up.

I am very happy with this law firm, the lawyer told me that my case would take 7 to 9 months, they were always in communication with me, as was their assistant, always very kind and professional. In December all my documentation is sent to the immigration department and by the end of March I received my permanent residence. Good teamwork, I mean that because the lawyers office always did their part, taking care of my case, telling me what I needed, gathering all the correct documentation and ensuring that nothing was missing, who sent the package and also who took charge at immigration. The truth is, I do recommend their services. Excellent work!! Thanks to Shirleyn and Diana. Also, the girls in front are always very attentive.

Terrible service, they only took my case so as not to lose the money, they told me that my husband did qualify for a residency and after 2 and a half years they tell me that he always did not after having paid them for the services, during the process I always called them to to know if there was any information and they could never take my call at that time and they would call me back until 2 or 3 weeks later using pretexts... I simply do not recommend them.

I ve had the exact same problem as the person who reviewed them last. No communication. Then they say we ll you missed our call so they can act like they ve done their part of the deal. It s nonstop ignoring. They ignore simple requests. I think I may need to escalate this too. Continually ignore requests to talk to someone. It s insane.

My experience with this law firm was very frustrating. I left a brief description of my issue through its contact website form, which is about my work authorization and I also requested a specific lawyer. I got a phone call and I was scheduled for about 2 weeks later at 10am. When the law firm gave me another call a day before my appointment for the appointment confirmation, I figured out I was not scheduled with the the lawyer despite my request on their own form. It was fine because I was able to re-schedule for the same date but at 2:45pm. However, there was no call at that time so I gave a call by myself. Even worse, I was told that Reina & Bates does not handle work authorization issues and they could not resolve my issue, which could be indicated right after I submitted my request, and thus I could find another law firm instead of wasting my time on waiting for my appointment for two weeks.

But I will share my experience,I was denied my permanent residence in 2006 and was told I was going to have to leave the country.a friend told me about joseph Reina I gave them a call and after a visit with them they accepted my case..to make the story short the definitely helped me! I was able to obtain my permanent resident card thanks to them, and even with me having a criminal record. Yes it cost me some money about 8k but well worth it! I am here with my family!! Cant put a price on that..and about 3yrs ago he was able to help my brother in law get his even tho he had a dwi..and about the secretarys and the paralegals you just have to stay on top of them calling them often to see how your case is going..

Wow, what can I tell you? I thank the lawyers, especially Mr. Josep Reina, because my case was very difficult. I was deported and returned after 4 months. My mother asked me at first to go to another lawyer, but I lied about my deportation and what I did was I took out all my papers that the other lawyer had already filled out and I looked for about 15 lawyers. My case had no solution, the other lawyers told me and by the grace of my God a friend recommended him to me. I no longer had hope but Josep himself told me. He attended and told me what he was going to do. He is a specialist in very difficult cases like mine, which is why I recommend them with my eyes closed. I would actually give Joseph Reyna zero stars, my experience at this law firm was the worst dealing with attorneys. I had the consultation with Joseph Reyna himself, I gave him more than enough details about my situation and he agreed to take my case assuring me that he had handled cases that were way more difficult and they had a good outcome, signed the contract and submitted paperwork, next thing I know its impossible to get a hold of anyone, they assigned Nancy as the legal assistant on my case, if I ever got to speak to her over the phone she was rude, I was never updated on my case, after I was told it was going to take 3 months, 7 months went by and did not hear back from the law firm, I went to to office and demanded to speak to the attorney, I spoke to this guy that said was in charge of my file, just to tell me I needed to pay more money to have my case closed , he tried to scare me telling me at that point I did not have an option but to pay to have my case closed or the would be coming looking for me, I was lied to, I consulted two other law firms about what Joseph Reyna did with my case and they both agreed and help me solve my issue. I would never recommend Joseph Reyna.

I would give Attorney Joseph Reina a minus ten if I could. WORST attorney to hire if you want your file taken seriously. It seemed to me like he works hard on advertisement to get as many cases possible but does not handle the case load appropriately. Charges too much taking advantage of those who are ignorant to the laws. Would never recommend anyone to hire him for immigration services. I was a previous customer with this firm, as was my family for accidents, and other cases in the past, so I had lots of faith when I reached out to them for assistance with a family law/real estate case for an uncle of mine. I contacted the at least 7 times, each time I was promised a call back, along with an apology, but in the course of a month not once did I receive a call back. This truly let me down, because I feel that if this is how much interest they have in taking on new cases, I dont want to imagine how long it takes them to actually work on them. Terrible service, I had more assistance from the Legal Aid of Northwest Texas than these people. Take into consideration that I was willing to invest as much as I needed because there was a business on the line, as well as two properties and misuse of a power of attorney on the line. Dont waste your time with this firm.

We were told that there was a certain law that would protect my mother in case her father, who was sick at the time, passed away and her immigration case would be unaffected. My grandfather passed away about a week and she has pretty much lost her case because there IS NO SUCH LAW in place that protects my mother. The attorney says it was a confusion.
