We had an amazing experience at Sky Rocket Burger! The food is absolutely delicious, burgers, are cooked to perfection. The fries are crispy and full of flavor, making them the perfect side. What really stood out, though, was the friendly and attentive staff. They made the entire dining experience even better. I ate here or lunch today and it was absolutely killer. I had the double meat bacon cheese burger with jalapeños and man it was good. The meat was really juicy and tasty, yet had a delucius crispy fringe on the outer part of the patty which was a nice touch. The bun was nicely buttered and toasted and just the right amount of crisp to it. Go there, get some, you will not be disappointed. Update: OMG, I am addicted to eating here. I recently was at saltgrass steakhouse eating a fillet mignon, it was ok, but I kept thinking... man, that sky rocket burger was actually way better than the steak. I know, that sounds kinda crazy, but it is true. Update: Just when I did not think it could get any better, I added double bacon to my bacon double cheese burger with jalapenos... Heavenly experience indeed. Really nice folks running the place, very kind, polite and friendly. Its the icing on the cake. Go there and get some! 7/13/2023 Never gets old! I travel all over the world for work. Ive been eating hamburgers for at least 45 years. This is positively one of the best hamburgers Ive ever had. Extremely courteous and friendly owners. The atmosphere is what it is. Youre not there for ambiance. Truly an outstanding and delicious meal.

Sky Rocket Burger is one of those hidden gems you hear about from friends, and it lives up to all the hype. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The burgers and fries here are to die for seriously, some of the best Ive ever had. The service is just as impressive as the food. Before my friend and I even took our seats, they cleaned the table right in front of us, which was a nice touch. I ordered the regular burger with the secret sauce, and it was incredible. The chili cheese fries were amazing too, perfectly seasoned and cheesy. And to top it all off, they have a real soda fountain with superior soda flavors, not just the usual Pepsi or Coke. Its a small detail, but it really sets them apart. I was also impressed to see they have a Yelp plaque for being one of the top 100 restaurants something I ve never seen before. Overall, this place is fantastic. 5/5 for this charming, must-visit restaurant!

Ok. You will not be disappointed. A straight forward no nonsense burger place. If you are anything like myself and get that urge for a burger and nothing else will do, this will hit the spot. Menu is burger focused. Everything you need to fill up on a delicious burger. And the fries are a perfect compliment. Fries are awesome. There is a reason for their current rating. If you are looking for a locally owned, restaurant with a great tasting burger, this is it! Very simple restaurant with home made burgers and fresh fries. Seating is limited and you have to self serve your drink but the food is definitely worth it. The owner and his wife know most of the recurring patrons by name. The fries were hot and crispy. I was hesitant since I did not know the area well but I was pleasantly surprised. It was recommended by the auto shop manager at the corner and I am glad he did.

My brother has been begging to take me here for years. Well, today was the day and I am only upset that I have not tried it sooner. The owners her are super sweet and the burger is awesome. It is straight off the grill hot and they butter and toast their buns which really took it to the next level for me. I ll also mention their veggies tasted fresh too. After visiting the Sky Rocket location in Lewisville, I loved it so much I wanted to try the original. I would like to start off and say that the atmosphere of the original and the franchise location is different. In Lewisville, you can tell its a newer and cleaner restaurant, with more seating than the original. Though, it is lacking the charm in the atmosphere that the original has. This locations burgers are no different from the other one. Theyre PHENOMENAL, and one of the best burgers Ive ever had, if not the best. The real sugar soda is also really good. It is worth noting that they dont have milkshakes here, but they have them at the Lewisville location. That being said, they exclusively have Sky Rocket merchandise available for purchase at this location. In conclusion, its worth coming to the original AND the franchise location to compare and contrast the differences and the similarities, and to get the full Sky Rocket experience. A similarity is that they both serve a phenomenal and made-to-order burger, that you cant beat anywhere else than Sky Rocket. 5 stars.

Today was my first visit to Sky Rocket Burger, drawn there by their 4.8-star rating. I read the few 1-star reviews beforehand, but after eating there, I realize that most of the negative reviews are likely detractors or competitors, one indicator being that many of the reviewers were likely bogus accounts with only one review. Bottom line, this is one GREAT burger joint with hot, fresh burgers, good fries, and great prices.

Definitely a hidden gem right off of Coit Rd. My go to burger place in all of DFW. Dont let how it looks inside deter you from trying - the service is great and the food is DELICIOUS . I got the double cheese burger with grilled onions - it was piping hot and it stayed hot while I was eating it. I loved that the cheese melted into the patty, made each bite so heavenly. This place is such an absolute GEM and must be protected at all costs. Best damn burger in all of DFW and omg, do not skip out on the rocket fries. I am NOT one for loaded fries but these are incredible. Delicious hand cut fresh French fries, super melty cheddar, the best damn secret sauce and grilled onions - yes, please. Everyone who works here is ALWAYS smiling and so very very kind. I haven t learned their names yet but fully intend to from the guy in the hat usually working the front, the absolute sweetest lady running orders, and another young guy who works in the back but sometimes runs orders as well. Smiles, kindness, care, they just seem to really enjoy serving people. Love the oak cliff sodas on draft too! ZERO FRILLS here, just a literal hole in the wall with and incredible burger.

Great burgers. We googled good burgers near us and we thought, ok lets go there. We walk in and it s pretty warm with a few tables and chairs. I wasn t impressed at first, but thought we re here now. We order from a very nice man. We didn t wait 5 minutes and our food came out. I ve never in my life picked up a double cheeseburger so hot! And the fries were also just cooked and super hot. Burgers come out wrapped and the presentation is nice and clean. This place satisfied our burger cravings. We all ordered grilled onions and it did make our burger heavy, but they were tasty. I ll try raw next time and a single as well. These burgers are really good, don t let the ambiance keep you away. We saw quite a few regulars there as well. Favorite burger joint to stop by during my lunch break. The Staff here are very friendly and check up on your orders satisfaction. Delicious made to order cheese burger. Its a little bit on the pricey side but worth the flavor this Burger brings to the table. Im not a picky eater and Im satisfied very easily but if I was to criticize my order, all I can say is the bottom bun was a little soggy from the pattys grease/juice but happens to all burgers. The tots were perfectly crispy and not over or under cooked. Todays order was a Single Cheese burger $7.39, Tator tots $3.09 and a small drink $2.59. for a Total of $14.15.

Hidden in plain sight.This hamburger haven is exactly what you re looking for if you want an original burger. Scott the owner is very personable and makes your experience memorable. The menu is simple and easy to choose. Hamburger was outstanding and the French fries complimented the meal. I chose the root beer to duplicate my childhood memories. Their price is fair for what you get. They shoot for the Classic Burger Joint Burger and it hit it right on the spot. One of my favorite burgers in the metroplex. Service: Not much to speak of. Its an extremely efficient and simple service. But the few moments of engagement you get are with friendly, smiling, faces. I would suppose I can say that on a Service Per Second (lol), theyve got it done pat. Atmosphere: Its got the mid 1900s Diner vibe it hits well. Peeling linoleum. Wooden tables. Low ceiling. But its all clean and well maintained. Yeah, they could update everything and have a nicer exterior and all that. But its all an illusion. A distraction from what they really care about. Good food and good people. The place is intimate in the sense that the tables are close together, which encourages people to lean a little closer and speak a little quieter. An interesting effect. Conclusion: I am very happy with this place. Strongly recommend it.

Sky Rocket Burger was completely full (and its a small space) on a Saturday at 5:30 PM, so that was the first sign we were in for a treat. The staff was friendly and personable, and it seemed like they already knew most the customers there by name. Though they keep the menu short and simple (burgers, fries, and tots), its all hot, fresh, and delicious. I do find it a bit odd they charge extra for cups for water, however.

This is easily the best burger I have ever had. The owners are some of the nicest and most down to earth people I have ever met. The food was steaming hot and so good. I recommend everybody come here and try this burger. You will not be disappointed.

This was one of many stops on our dallas trip that came highly recommended. Located in a strip mall right next to a gas station, the outside is very unassuming. Atmosphere: inside is pleasant and about what you would expect from a hole in a wall burger joint. Food: Double Cheeseburger Add Bacon and pickled Jalapenos - toppings were excellent worth the upcharge for sure. The bun was soft pillowy and tasted great as well, Cheese right on point what you would want ooey gooey. The meat is where i felt the flavor lacked a bit just not enough seasoning for me, you can tell the quality of the meat is there it just needed a bit more. Fries - Better fries then these places tend to normally have, tasted fresh and the oil didnt taste old. Smaller Menu as it should have no issue here Sauce Tip: Ranch is a must, they do charge .50 Drinks: I completely dislike this brand of real sugar soda they have this all over california as well.. give me coke or pepsi over this anyday... Thankfully they offer a mexican coke bottle for purchase as well.. Price: honestly a bit pricey, everything seems to be rising in costs. All said and done youre in for burger fries and a drink at $20.00 which might be a bit much. Parking: pretty small lot as its a strip mall, we go lucky to find a spot. Service: Extremely nice owner, everyone inside was pleasant and seemed to be enjoying their meals. Overall a great burger choice if you are in Dallas

I was really excited to eat here since one of my friends has been raving about the place. The burgers were a bit soggy and the meat was okay. I heard their buns usually are a bit crispy around the edges which would be awesome, but definitely was not. Once I get rid of the nasty feeling I got from eating here, I do want to give it another shot since I do trust this friend s opinion on food usually. I hope they are not a place that is not consistent. Gave it another shot. Still horrible.

This is the BEST burger I ve had in my life, hands down. Just absolutely insane. The flavor of butter is there in every bite, with the most perfect butter toasted buns I ve ever tasted. The pickles, cheese, and special sauce make for the burger In N Out wishes it could be. Words can t really describe but trust me, this is the perfectly constructed burger and I can still remember how it tastes even though it s been almost a head since I last had it. You MUST go here if you ever find yourself in Dallas.

Best burger I ve ever had! Nothing fancy about it, but loaded with flavor. Perfectly seared and seasoned patties on a soft sesame bun with In-N-Out like sauce. Make sure you go to this location. It s still owned and operated by the originators and the quality and service is much better than the Frisco and Deep Ellum locations.

The best cheeseburger I have ever eaten. I have had many burgers all these years but this one takes the cake. Patties are crispy on the edges, very juicy and the sauces are exceptional. The service is amazing, the guy personally comes to your table and asks if everything is good multiple times. I am very impressed. I hope they do good in business.

This place has moved to my #1 burger spot. Very simple menu concept. Burgers or Burgers . The meat is very flavorful and the customer service by the owners....treat you like family. Literally the best cheeseburger I ve had in recent memory! The bun wasn t too big and more in proportion with the burger. The meat is scrumptious and the flavor profile is spot on, not too salty and cooked to perfection. The tater tots are crispy but not burnt. So good! I would give zero if I could. I dont know if the food is good. We waited 20 minutes after the restaurant opened and nobody answered the phone or knocking on door. I came here today for the 1st time after doing some best burger in Dallas research and also reading a ton of Reddit comments, where Sky Rocket was mentioned quite a lot. The burger was excellent and I will absolutely be back! I had the double with cheese, all the normal fixins and added grilled jalapenos and onions. So very, very good. The fries were very fresh and delicious, but I would order them extra crispy the next time I go (gotta get the tots, first, though). I got there right at 11 and was the 1st customer of the day. Service was fast and folks were extremely friendly. I was only there for 30 min and saw at least 4 regulars come in who were greeted by name by the staff. Thats always a very good sign IMO. The place is tiny and only has 9 total tables, most just 4 seaters. I recommend getting there early if you want to eat there and really get to enjoy the freshness. I highly recommend it.
