I was in attendance for the final performance of Fiesta Noche del Rio. My first ever time seeing the performance and it was incredible. A must see even for a local of San Antonio. The venue is small and cozy however it is outdoors so depending on the season this will dictate your experience temperature wise. There is ground seating with chaired box seating on the sides. The big reason for my attendance was a close family friend would be proposing to his significant other at the conclusion of the show. This place will always be special to me.

I caught the Fiesta Noche del Rio last Friday. The music and dance was excellent. I have lived in SA for 50 years and I have never felt more San Antonian than watching the Flamenco and Folklorio and Mariachi performances. There are several more shows scheduled for this season.

Small venue but a beautiful place right on the the canal of Riverwalk. Shops and the Little Village is at the top of the stairs. Make sure you walk the entire river walk so you dont miss it.

Great outdoor addition to the river walk. If the Theatre isn t in use it s a great place to have a picnic, film a Timelapse, or be a fly on the wall for people watching. Watch your back late at night. It s not a sketchy place. It s just not well lit.

The city will host free performances throughout the year and it is always a great presentation. The seating areas are nice but there is no back support, so you may want to take a foldable stadium seat. The grass is real, so possibility of bugs. We have not encountered any bug concerns except during mosquito season. The grass does provide some cushion when seated.

Fantastic venue, until it got dark. Was here for the Texas Lonestar Drill Championship with no stage lighting. Competition Exhibition Drillers doing amazing things with rifles, some with fixed bayonets, dangerous enough in broad daylight but potentially deadly in the conditions provided by the venue. Had the lighting tonight been even close to the photos from other events, this would easily be a 5 star venue.

We had a good time at this outdoor theater. The sound was not the best, but the performer was great. You will sit on some type of bleacher with grass, so maybe bring something with padding or waterproof if needed. Its right in front of the Riverwalk, so you will see many boats passing through.

The historic Arneson River Theater and Rositas Bridge were the perfect stage for a phenomenal performance by recording superstar VF7, Reggeatons Urban Princess. Spiritlandia closed with a bang and the beautiful Arneson River Theater was the venue where the historical past and the present youth and vibrancy of VF7 became one. Simply wonderful!

Been reading reviews about seat cushions. Honestly, I think it s fine without them and I sat on the grassy steps for 2 hours. You can bring your own food and drink, but otherwise they have concessions during performances. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. It s such a unique theater, always something to enjoy here.

Tried booking my wedding here. Was told the dates would be available. Then a few days later, after invites are made and my order is submitted, I get told that it s no longer available. For the entire day. On a Sunday. What event is planned in late October for an entire Sunday that was overlooked? The person booking it told me she s still learning the system but why didn t she check with someone who actually knew what they were doing? the whole thing is a disaster and I do not recommend this venue for any event. Now I know that you pay for what you get - and that will include really bad service from whoever is in charge of booking the event for you.

Quaint, unique amphitheatre on San Antonios own River Walk. The San Antonio River separates the audience from the stage; river barges are always passing through. Seating is just terraced ground with stone retaining walls. You literally sit on grass, and the seats are backless.

If you re going to shut down the entire river walk for your show, at least give people a walkway to get to the hotel just on the other side of it. We were told we couldn t walk through and had to go up and around which was much easier said than done. Thank goodness for GPS which is the only reason we found our hotel.

Very nice entertainment. Fiesta Noche del Rio is a nice singing and dance performance with some humor. It offers a variety of Hispanic cultural music and dance. It is outdoors and seating is on the ground/rock. So take a stadium chair and dress light.

Fiesta Noche Del Rio was a neat experience, but not everything I was hoping for. The outdoor amphitheater was a bit warm, but that is to be expected in mid summer. The show featured a lot of contemporary dance and styles, rather than focusing on the traditional dances of the local cultures. The guitar player was a real treat; so very talented.

If you are visiting San Antonio for summer vacation, please take the time to look up the Fiesta Noche Del Rio performance and go! This event will be a highlight of my vacation and a perfect way to cap off our last night in San Antonio. Located directly alongside the San Antonio River Walk, this quaint theater would seem to be nothing more than a historic architectural remnant if not for the stage lightning and dance floor situated directly across from the amphitheater seating. At showtime, the location transforms into a lovely evening of music and dance, with the atmosphere feeling like you have been transported back to a simpler time. The performances are top notch, and the show hosts engage the crowd in a way that is fun for the entire family. The show spans many styles of traditional Spanish dance, but also includes the occasional nod to country, as well as pop culture selections (Despacito and songs by Selena). Live mariachi music accompanies a number of the dances, including a FANTASTIC guitarist whose solo performance is alone worth going to the show. Refreshments are available at the top of the seating area before and during showtime, although prices are rather steep ($3 can of soda and $6 bear). The only negative thing is the authentic stone work in the seating area. It is not kind to the behind, but cushions for rent were offered for $1.00. The best part of the show is that the proceeds go to childrens charity!

I visited this river theater to attend Fiesta Noche del Rio. What a fun night!! Im not sure what other shows they have at this theater, but ours included music, singing, and dancing. It was a great way to end our vacation in San Antonio. It is organized into an amphitheater style. You sit on grassy, rocky steps. Our event was renting out small seat cushions to make it a little more comfortable. There were concessions being sold and public restrooms. You can enter the theater seating from the riverwalk level or from the street level. There is not handicap access from the riverwalk level, only stairs, so if accommodations are needed, you would have to enter from the street level and stay at the top. We had an enjoyable evening and loved waving at the Go Rio river cruises floating by during the show. I would recommend bringing your own seat cushion, drinks, and a fan just to save a few dollars (one can of coke was three dollars). I dont know if those are the usual concession stand prices there or if it is specific to the event.
