What an amazing experience at DEC on dragon! Carloss hospitality was top-notch. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed. The venue was amazing , but Carloss service took it to the next level. Hes a true professional and a master of his craft. Shout out to Kalli and the DEC team! My wedding was about 2 weeks ago and it decided to rain on us. One of the reasons we chose this venue was its beautiful view of the skyline. But as promised, Kalli and her team worked with my day-of coordinator and delivered a beautiful event. The food and drinks were very good and plentiful and we did eventually get to see that gorgeous view. The experience and interactions leading up to the day were also top-notch.

We booked DEC for our wedding and we are still dreaming about all the details 2 months later. Our venue coordinator for DEC was Kalli and she was an ABSOLUTE GEM. Literally my favorite personnel to work with. She was soooo kind and gracious throughout the entire process( 1 year worth to be exact)!!! Chef did an AMAZING job with the multi cultural food. We have guests still talking about our menu and food till this day. Venue, food, staff- 100 stars if I could!

Horrible experience! The air conditioning didnt work June 24 we were invited to a party and we kept asking what was weong with the air Conditioning and the only said thet are going to fix it . And they never did. They knew it wasnt working and didnt tell the us. Horrible.! This was a fraud! They deliberatly rented the place knowing it was 100 degree outside and there was no air conditioning! Worst venue ever!

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hosting my engagement party at DEC on Dragon, and I cannot emphasize enough how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with the deplorable services provided. This establishment is an absolute disaster, and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of it unless you want your special event ruined and your hard-earned money wasted. Lets start with the most glaring issue: the air conditioning. To my shock and disbelief, on the day of the event, we discovered that the air conditioning system was BROKEN! Despite the scorching 100-degree weather outside, the employees neglected to inform us about this crucial detail beforehand. When we asked multiple times if they could turn up the AC, they deceitfully assured us they were taking care of it. Little did we know they were just stringing us along. As our guests arrived, the suffocating heat inside the venue became unbearable. Sweat was pouring down everyones faces, and it felt like a sauna. The waitstaff and managers offered nothing more than empty promises, repeatedly telling us they were checking the AC while doing absolutely nothing to fix the situation. It was clear that they had no intention of resolving the problem or taking responsibility for their negligence. The entire purpose of selecting this venue was to have an indoor event and escape the unbearable Texas heat. The absence of functioning air conditioning turned our celebration into a sweat-drenched nightmare. We were forced to go outside periodically just to catch our breath and find some air. To add insult to injury, when I reached out to the manager the next day to express my dissatisfaction and seek redress, I was met with complete apathy and indifference. They brazenly denied any responsibility for the broken air conditioning and brushed off my concerns. Clearly, customer satisfaction and accountability mean absolutely nothing to them. I paid a significant amount of money upfront for this venue, expecting a basic level of professionalism and service. Instead, what I got was a complete disregard for my comfort and a ruined event that will forever be marred by the stifling heat. Its truly astonishing that this venue has the audacity to charge such exorbitant fees when they cant even ensure a functioning air conditioning system. To all those considering booking an event at this venue I implore you to think twice. Save yourself the anguish, disappointment, and embarrassment of subjecting your guests to a sweltering, uncomfortable environment. There are plenty of other venues in Dallas that actually care about their customers and provide the services they promise. Spread the word, share this review, and let everyone know to avoid this disaster of a venue. Dont make the same mistake we did or at least don t pay it all up front.

We had our company Christmas Party @ DEC and it was a blast. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One of our party goers had a minor wardrobe malfunction and we needed scissors and they were extremely helpful accommodating us. The food was delicious, the staff was courteous and friendly . Definitely recommend!

Beautiful industrial design wth modern touches. Two levels, huge social space. Would be hard to fill this venue lol. Great drinks $12 AND I ONLY NEEDED ONE, free entry, FREE TACOS, no rsvp for seating, But limited amounts. ELEVATOR. Great view of downtown on the balcony dec. Great staff. I wanna marry it! It even rained and we were still enjoying the vibe.

I had my wedding at DEC on Dragon on 11/6/21 and everything went off flawlessly. Brynn and her team were amazing to work with and I could not recommend this venue more! If you are looking for a venue in the city with a swanky bar energy and amazing views, this is the one! I was also able to bring my vision to life with some simple decor that really transformed the rooftop area. Brynn was my contact for the venue and for catering, and honestly she was a dream to work with. She is very responsive and eager to help. I did not expect her to respond to my million and one questions so quickly every time, but she really is on the ball and I knew whatever question I had, shed be able to help! With her help, I had confidence going into the wedding day that everything was going to go well, and it really did. I was working with a pretty tight budget and the value in this venue cannot be matched in Dallas, in my opinion! Go give it a tour and see the views for yourself, you wont be disappointed! Thank you DEC & Bluefire team for making our big day so special!

Brynn is one of the best and flawless people I have ever worked with. She answered every single question we had throughout the whole process and always tried to make sure they were executing our vision. We always knew our wedding was in good hands with her! Management needs to work on the structure of ordering reservations. We were the first to arrive in the building and got the worst seat upstairs directly in the sun. Did not have enough space for our birthday party that we reserved. Staff (security and management specifically) were rude. Bottle girls/servers were extremely nice. Would not recommend this place.

This is a really beautiful establishment that host several nice events. I have attended 1 event recently & was pleased with the vibe. HOWEVER, living right next door to this place is pure hell when their guest race up and down the street, hang out in the parking lots being super loud, fighting, playing extremely loud music & disregard a very loud warning alarm going off telling them to leave the parking lot of the business they should not even be parked in! Smh, I like the establishment and I support black owned/operated but please get better security to clear your events in a less disturbing fashion!..I beg of u!!

we were here for a family engagment function- we dont drink alcohol- after the food kids wanted water our choice was to keep going to the bar with people already crowding it and asking for glass of water or buy a bottle of water so it would save us a trip each time somebody needed water. y would u not keep a selfservice water fountain with throwaway cups in a corner.

Worst neighbor Ive ever had. Guests litter literally every time they have a fairly large event, they never turn down the music outside so Im typically kept awake until 1-2 AM, and whoever DJs there sucks. Play something OTHER than Sicko Mode, Backstreet Boys, and the YMCA for the love of GOD.

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at DEC in January. Our caterer was FGF Catering but they seem to run the venue. We worked with Edith. We were hoping for warmer weather but it was too cold and windy to be on the DEC for the ceremony and reception. Edith quickly executed Plan B to have our dinner and reception downstairs. It ended up great and everyone had a good time. Edith was great, she met with us several times and was very responsive. I would highly recommend this venue and FGF. They are organized and the staff was great. Edith, thanks for making this special night for us extra special!!!
