We went yesterday for my birthday on a whim. The original escape room we went to had run out of power and wasnt accepting any walk ins. If I would have read the reviews first I wouldnt have wasted my money here. The literal worst escape room I have ever been. I have been doing escape rooms for the past 4 years and this is by far the most memorable to say the least. OLD, DIRTY, OUTDATED, NEEDS RENOVATING. Game master is not paying attention to us the entire game. If we didnt have our phones to use as a light source we wouldnt have been able to see anything and complete the puzzles. I recommend finding some where else in Dallas. Literally any place else. Im sure this place was awesome years ago when it opened but it needs some help and getting with the times.

We completed the Western Bank Heist for a bachelor party that had 6 people with experience of escape rooms and we all collectively agreed that this was the worst room that we have ever done. The game master did not know what we were doing half of the time and needed to be filled in on what we were doing. Plus all of the other statements said on the previous reviews on the struggles with puzzle answers.

To be honest I was disapointed and maybe it was just me as this was a Team building event and because there were too many of us (9) and that made us too cramped. The esacpe areas were small and then smaller. The things we had to solve were not a cake walk and had a pretty high level of difficulty. It would be best suited for no more than 6 and probably 5 is the better number. If there was a little more room to work I think it would allow to spread the clues out more thus aiding in the experience. I will say the staff was very good and was quite pleasant.

I have been to many escape rooms and I am a fan of brain teaser and puzzle. I like challenging brain games but this location was HORRIBLE!! The instructor talk super fast as if we were just suppose to know the rules and story line. He said after 10 mins we can ask as many clues as we would like(remember this for later). Once we got started we started to feel like nothing had a flow. The clues mad no sense. The clues wasn t logical or clear where it lead to the next clue or connected the dots to something in the room that would have the clue. We were literally trail and error to try and figure out things. When we decided to ask for clues he would give us one that we already solved. What made this frustrating was that it was a camera in the room, and he told us he could see us at all times. So he wasn t paying attention at all. Then he would go silent, and not respond back to us for minutes at a time mind you the whole thing was an hour, so every minute counts. He even made a very off putting comment: there was a letter involved and he asked if we actually read it smh. It wasn t a good room; thank goodness i was with a great group of people to make the experience better. Don t waste your time or money. We did Western Heist.

First off, the place was dirty. When my family and I started in the room. It was easy to not go in order of the clues because certain things were just laying out. The clues were clear and didn t lead us to the next clue effectively. The game master was rude and did not give clear hints. Things were broken and things were not working properly for the game. It was fun only because this was our first time but it also made us all very mad that it wasn t put together properly so we could solve it. We will never visit this place again. My family and I have been to many escape rooms across several states. We find it fun and challenging and enjoy spending time with one another. We particularly like rooms that flow from puzzle to puzzle with clear instruction, clues that point you in the right direction, and a game master that is attentive and knowledgeable about the challenge. Unfortunately, we did not experience that. While the game masters at this facility were nice, the young man was not attentive. At one point we called for a clue with no answer. I left the room to find him. He had turned the volume of the walky talky off and forgot to turn it back up. He quickly remedied the situation and we continued. He was much more attentive afterwards. One clue gave us 4 numbers for a 3 number combination in abstract order with no clues to place the order or eliminate a number. When brought to the game masters attention we were told it was for deception purposes. Another puzzle was missing pertinent information to solve the puzzle and move on while another needed batteries to move forward that did not work. Several props were broken and there seemed to be puzzles that added to the game that did not work. Typically a great room needs to seamlessly move you from one challenge to the next with clear, logical reasoning. This room had some good points but not enough to make us come back for more.

Our family frequents escape rooms around DFW, and I can say we thoroughly enjoyed the rooms at this location! The rooms and puzzles really commit to the theme. The puzzles are challenging and best for ages teen and up, so keep that in consideration when signing up. With that being said, you CAN ask for as many clues as you need. The rooms and building itself are older, but it didn t take away much from the experience. Ben, our cluemaster, was friendly and helped guide us through!

My husband and I have successfully completed many escape rooms at various Escape locations. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESCAPE PLACE. We chose the Western Bank Heist room and it is in severe need of improvements as they have to give you the first clue, because it does not work and everything in the room is in poor condition. The male worker there was completely RUDE, so we left our game 20 minutes early. WASTE OF MONEY! This business will not survive if they don t improve their games and hire workers who have the LEAST BIT of competency in customer service.

We love escape rooms and I have never been so disappointed. We just spent 200.00 to do the bank heist. First of all the building was filthy, especially the bathrooms. Our game master( and I use that term loosely) was awful. He had no energy and was difficult to follow. The pre-instructions were vague. When we asked for clues, it was evident he had no idea where we were in the process. when we finally got to the magnet, the magnet was so weak, we were not able to move past it. This was my least favorite game room experience. I do not recommend this escape room.

We did the Bank Heist room, and I wish we had read the reviews first. Our game master implied that we would need to use the outlets- We have outlets here, here, and here. You can use those for anything you may need. There comes a point where something needs to be wired and THANKFULLY we used the walkie to double check whether or not we needed to plug something into an outlet, because the response was we have had people plug that into the outlet before and they got shocked..so no, please dont plug that into the outlet. So if we hadnt asked, we would have assumed that was part of it given the emphasis on where the outlets were located at the start (The outlet had burn marks on it). It was very dim in the room, so we had to use our phone flashlights to be able to see the clues around the room. We didnt find the horseshoe puzzle as time consuming as some others, though a stronger magnet would make it less frustrating. However, there are lots of mailboxes in the room as part of the theme, and ONE box had the tape peeled off revealing a 4 digit number that we spent SIGNIFICANT time on at the very beginning trying to figure out what code it was. Unfortunately, it was not relevant to the game, and when we asked about it at the end and were told yeah, people have peeled the tape off and we just dont have any more tape to cover it. If they had told us that in the briefing it would have saved a lot of time. The safe at the end also had all of the numbers almost completely rubbed off and REALLY hard to see to be able to input the combination lock. Overall we still had fun, but I dont recommend this room.

Will probably not return. The game master spoke very fast and was very difficult to understand as he mumbled the entire time. He rushed through the instructions and seemed grumpy from the first moment we walked in. He did not smile or seem friendly, and we did not really feel welcome. Seems like he didnt want to be there. While we have done escape rooms before, we were not asked any questions about our experience, or the level of difficulty we were looking for. The game master never knew where we were in the game. We dont think he was even working. We kept radioing for clues, but the clues were not very helpful and the game master seemed unhappy to help. Weve completed several escape rooms, but this one we did not complete. It was much more complicated than we expected, and we generally go for medium-hard. There were 5+ codes, but no way to know which code goes with which item. We had to try multiple codes on on multiple locks. As others have mentioned in the review, there needs to be more relevancy to the codes. Other escape rooms will explain the difficulty beforehand, or ask you how hard you want it to be and then theyll adjust the settings. The game master should know what step you are on at all times. This one did not, wasnt even watching the cameras as we had to explain what step we were on and had completed. Overall a semi-frustrating experience and will not be returning. Had the staff been friendly and welcoming, we may have been willing to return to another room at the same business, but we arent willing to spend $150+ at a business that isnt welcoming.

Worst escape room in my entire life. My group and I showed up to do the Bank Heist Escape Room and genuinely, I would give it zero stars if I could. The escape room staff gave our time slot away to two walk ins and had us waiting in the lobby for 20 minutes past our room start time. They proceeded to let us in the room and explained the rules to us while our timer was going, informed us that our time would not reset, and when the game master finished explaining the rules , we had 30 minutes to complete the room. No refund was offered, no extra time was given. Horrible experience and the room itself was super confusing with little to no logical progression of the clues. Highly would NOT recommend this escape room.

We have done dozens of escape rooms, and the bank heist is by far the worst we have ever done. Not only was the room confusing and poorly laid out, when we asked for clues the game master was hard to understand and didn t seem to know where we were on the game. The clues didn t seem to make any sense in how they led to the next one, which led to a lot of confusion. And the magnet we spent 20 minutes on it until we were finally told we needed a different magnet I could go on and on about how terrible this experience was. We really wish we had read the reviews and saved ourselves from wasting our money and our afternoon. Perhaps they will decide to listen to their customers and fix the room.

We played The Agency and had 23 minutes left when we made a wrong move in a dark room. The instructions were very cryptic in the intro when they told us what could potentially happen. We drove a long way to do the Bank Heist because one person in our party has done The Dig there and said it was the best escape room he had ever done. We were less impressed with the Bank Heist. There were not enough puzzles that could be done simultaneously to keep all 5 of us engaged. In addition, the number codes were not clear on several combinations... Nor were there any hints as to which lock a code went to. There needed to be more relevancy to the codes. But the biggest frustration was that a single puzzle took half the time because it physically was just too hard to do, due to the magnet being too week and the puzzle being physically (not mentally) difficult. I go to escape rooms to challenge my brain not my blind magnet dexterity. We asked for help many times, and at one point we were told just to Google something because the map we were looking at did not give us clarity about a code it revealed. We all agreed it was a cool concept and the aesthetics were great, but it could have been more fun and less frustrating if the solutions were more clear. We would like to go back and do The Dig.

Immediate sewage aroma the moment you step foot in the door that seems to linger. Bank heist was the room we did, obviously not upkept, dingy with multiple broken or damaged puzzles. We showed up at 3:50 for the 4 o clock room, did the waiver and rang the bell to be told we could not do it and would have to book online and come back at 7. Worker was extremely rude and unwilling to work with us, there was no one else there and he pretty much told us that sucks and he can t help us

Love literally every other room EXCEPT the bank heist room. They need to redo this room, the horseshoe puzzle is brutal as mentioned in lots of other reviews. And some of the tech was broken too. We ve done the Southpark and the Agent rooms and they were both really good, so surprised bank heist was trash.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!! TL;DR: Bad management, Disgusting floors and walls, Terrible service, Broken Puzzles, Terrible Pricing, Horrid Experience. This place may have been popular and fun years ago but it has clearly never had a single renovation or refurbishment since it opened. The lobby is missing furniture that was never replaced, leaving a very empty and dirty entry the moment you enter the doors. Few chairs and a single table that hasnt been renewed in several years. Theres a heavy odor trying to cover the awful smell of a unkempt floor that hasnt been clean since it was put in. The service: No one at the front table with a sign that says to ring for the cluemaster AFTER youve done the online check in. How lazy can you get when your customers are paying upwards of a $100 for your service? Entering the room our cluemaster (wearing an anime hoodie indoors) hastily explains the walkie talkies and scenario for our room, the Agency. Walks away and unceremoniously starts our timer. The puzzle was old as all can be. A strip of paper gives us steps to what we need to do to escape in four simple instructions that explain nothing. Several pieces fall apart as we find them and the room itself clearly hasnt been repaired or taken care of in years. Little to zero decoration to its elements which really makes you wonder what on EARTH are you paying so much money for. Two essential components of the room FAILED to work altogether. One of them being a magnet puzzle which, from what I can tell, is something this establishment has had issues with for years that they never bother to fix. Our cluemaster never bothers to watch our cameras so every time we ask for a clue we have to catch him up to speed and waste our limited time on him. After our hour is up, on the very second, our cluemaster shows up, spoils the rest of the room for us, and stares until we shuffle out of the room and he heads to the back. It was.. awkward to say the least. Massive waste of time. This place has had several reviews of people all complaining about the same thing. Puzzles extremely out of date. Cleanliness barely up to the standards. Customer Service is lazy, neglectful, and all around barely worth $10 let alone the triple digit figures youre paying for on an outdated, gross, incompetent Escape Room service. The owner should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for keeping this scam open. Do better.
