We didnt feel like cooking one morning and found this diner. We were hungry and lazy that morning, but the food here made us immediately regret our decision on not cooking that morning. The coffee was watered down, had no flavor, and the food was mediocre. Now we enjoy making our own coffee and making our breakfast at home. The waitress was sweet and gave us everything we asked for.

First, I must say that the staff immediately made me feel welcome. The diner is an amazing place, and the food was cooked perfectly. A combination of an attentive staff, and great food makes this 24 hr diner a staple. Will definitely be returning!

We sat down and even with the diner being empty with servers & a cook we waited for like 30 minutes until I seen that all he got done was the hash browns & waffle , the server didn t seem much to care about her tables there was just us and another table , we got served drinks without straws , after finishing she just kept walking past us without acknowledging that we needed a refill , her attendance was slow & it showed that she didn t wanna be there neither the cook either

Went here a while ago, and when we entered the restaurant we sat at the front waiting to be attended. When I tell you NO ONE attended us. There were multiple servers that passed in front of us and not once were we acknowledged by these people. The restaurant was not even that busy. My guest and I ended up leaving and getting food somewhere else WAYYYY BETTER. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!! Save yourselves time and money!!!

If you re on a budget and wanna eat some good food, this is the place. We always make the drive from Arlington just to eat here. Only bad thing is that the restrooms are horrible so if you have to empty your bladder, do so at home. Other than that, it s great for the price and everyone is friendly.

Apparently Davis is the place to go for amazing diners... Normas was packed so we decided to try this place just down the street. Ruth greeted us as soon as we walked in, got our drinks quick, and made sure we had everything we needed. Food came up fast and MAN it was good! I like this place; the music was not your usual diner jams which I really enjoyed. I cant believe Dallas is hiding gems like this! Definitely check it out!

We decided to get up early Saturday morning to go have breakfast.. Arrived at the establishment to sit down and the table was cleaned but still dirty.. We decided to order a cup of coffee and water while we took a look at the menu. We noticed that the Manager was cooking and handling food with no gloves and touching everything in site as well as wiping her hands on a dirty towel. She even flipped an omelette with her hands and then grabbed the cheese to place on another order..Cross contamination all over that place. And yes, we got up and walked out without ordering anything else.. It was a horrible site to see especially when you are a Manager.. I can only imagine what the rest are doing hopefully not following your lead.

When you call to order pick up. They dont answer. I would call 10 times back to back. It would ring first, no answer. Id call again. Busy signal. I tried 4 times a busy signal. 5th time. It rings. They answer then hang up? Its Sunday, December 10, 2023. Whomever it is at night who deals with the phone will forever be twlk about. I go through this with them quite often. Lazy people. Id fond another place, but by default, I go there because they sometimes answer on my way to work.

Ive been coming here since 2010 and absolutely loved the food and staff who were here. They made any meal a little more enjoyable with their hospitality. A few years ago, something changed. Ive been eating here a long time. But this time was different. Table was dirty. Steak was raw and full of fat a gristle. Sprite was syrup. Onion rings were hard as a rock and tasted like grease had never been changed out. Id maybe understand if they was busy but they were not busy at all. The waiter was really nice, and like I said I been coming to this place a long time so Im not going to do 1 star. Waiter is what kept that from happening. (She still got tipped) That and all the good meals I have had there over the past 20 yrs. But I wont waste another 70 bucks and tip next time.

We came here after a rough day. It was right after the State Fair Shooting. The staff was awesome. YOLO was working that night and was honestly running everywhere but on it. I would totally go to this diner over Waffle House and Ol South. Its typical diner food and fair price. Hats off to the short order cook that night also. I didnt catch his name but he was swamped and popping out orders like nothing. It was honestly just awesome to watch him cook. They also have French toast. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Went to dinner here with my partner. There was only one other couple while we were there so we were served quickly. Host was really nice. We both ordered burgers with fries. The food tasted decent. What we didnt like was seeing a person grab our frozen fries with their bare hands (no gloves) and putting it into the fryer. Then placing my bacon on a towel that we couldnt really tell if it was clean or not. It just didnt look very clean (in the kitchen area) but again, food didnt taste bad.

Let me start off with saying this place is a OG in Oak Cliff and it normally always hits the spot no matter if it s 9am or 9pm. I haven t been to this location in a few years and today was my first time back and it was such a unfortunate experience for me today. When ordering my meal waitress told me I was unable to special order my eggs I requested egg whites due to a food allergy. That I had to explain. Food was brought with egg whites which was wonderful for me, the French toast I ordered came out very under cooked and almost taste of egg. This place has the potential to be better just okay, with some new management.

saw some really great reviews so opted to give it a try. thought it would be on par with Normas or Market Street Diner. it was not. service was fine. niece said chocolate milk tasted like it was almost going bad. biscuit grilled on flat griddle. powder creamer on the table. I was brought 2 single serve jelly packs. was not asked what I wanted, just given 2 packs. grits seemed a bit thin/soupy. there was a can, like the big old folgers coffee can, it had smoke drifting out of it when we walked in, it was filled with cigarettes, some still burning, right next to the front door. inside the facility seemed clean enough. actually, there was a man cleaning inside and you could smell the mop water. I wouldnt go back.

Best late night snack. Every time I have a job that lasts really late we come here for dinner. This place never disappoints. Yes it s a little rough around the edges but it is very much a diner. Man has this place CHANGED......Called in for take out on Saturday Morning, Order was completely JACKED,Waitress who I normally tip very well 20$ didnt even check my order to make sure everything was good-Get home & unpack & so much for Breakfast......Ordered Up Biscuits n Gravy-Gravy wasnt closed properly &spilled ALL over everything, opened up Biscuits & they were burnt & not all there,actually looked like someone took a bite & put it back,Not to mention the hair in the Biscuits......Been Coming here for years but they wont get my business Again,I Promise, These pics are from how it used to be....
