The steak was dry. The mash potatoes had a weird taste. Not much favorable flavor. The shrimp was on point. The Waitress was great. She made the experience a whole lot better. My family and I had went to the restaurant (Jaja Cafe) and let s just say that was a horrible experience! So I am actually thankful for that horrible experience; because of that I just had the best dinner ever! My waitress Nicole was such a sweetheart I am so thankful for her amazing service. So when you go there, definitely ask for Nicole! The food was super delicious , so fresh, and just spot on point with everything! I really loved the atmosphere I felt so welcome. I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be returning very soon!! What a friendly and fun atmosphere! The staff were all so happy and welcoming. Nichole was our server and she was so patient with my 4 year old and gave great menu suggestions! My husband ordered the New Orleans Boil and said it was sensational. My 4 year old ordered a nibbler drink! It comes with a toy shark that puts blood sweet syrup in the drink. Very cute! My shrimp and crab pasta was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. We will for sure be back to Corpus Christi to visit this restaurant again. There is a giant pirate ship themed playground outside also. Kid-friendliness: The staff danced to music with my son and helped him order his food. Nichole brought him the cutest dessert! Our server Precious was awesome! She was very attentive and great service! I will say however, the food was mediocre and they were way understaffed. The hostess didn t come seat us and didn t seem thrilled to even be there. We finally had to ask to be seated and was returned with a head nod. The manager was cooking because the cooks had called out. I admired their effort but was still unsatisfied with the food itself. The manager was very accommodating and discounted the bill and gave a free appetizer. They tried to make up for it but it s unfortunate the circumstances our restaurant industries are facing. I was very happy to know they had grilled options and healthy side options also! Parking: Plenty of parking in beautiful views of the bay. Kid-friendliness: I did not have children with me but did see children in the establishment. It seems to be very family friendly. They were actually singing Happy Birthday to a little boy while we were there!

James was great! He took great care of us and made sure to accommodate our special dietary needs! Thanks, James! Dietary restrictions: My husband and I are carnivore and James made sure to leave off corn and potatoes in our steam pot. He also answered questions about seasonings and substitutions.

Our waitress Deidra gave us amazing service, she was attentive, friendly n she did her job, n kept us happy! Save your money, I took my family of 5 the bill was outrageous for the disgusting undercooked, overly salted and extremely oiled food. My food took a minute to arrive, my daughter s burger was BURNT, my potatoes were heavily undercooked, my corn was too so I had to essentially leave half of my food cause it was just inedible. Go next door to BJs or something. This place shouldn t continue to be in business, someone will eventually get deathly ill.

We decided to eat outside and ended up inside because we became food for mosquitoes. My girls patty was burnt, the crab was salty and the potato along with the corn was too hard, Im sorry but it was a bad experience for us. Dont recommend at all. Parking: Parking enough.

We went to Joes mainly for the playground and celebrating my youngest sons birthday. Out waitress Nova was absolutely amazing! She made it special for my son and was amazingly attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed. We didnt know they did a birthday celebration but it was so fun. My son even got a signed card! It was such a great choice of places to go
