Clint Broden was recommended by a family friend who practices patent law. Our family member was charged in Washington DC which required a criminal lawyer who could try a federal case. Clint filed motions for dismissal and was successful in having two charges dismissed before trial. One of them carried a 20-year maximum sentence. Our relationship with Clint and his law firm has lasted almost 4 years on this same case. He has promptly answered emails, text messages, and phone calls. We have had face to face meetings in his office when appropriate. His office staff has been professional and helpful. This case was complicated and historically unprecedented. Clint faced the unlimited resources of the US government in a highly politicized trial in DC. He gave our family good legal advice and spelled out our options at each twist and turn in this almost four-year journey. I would highly recommend his legal counsel.

We hired Mr. Broden for a high profile case and worked with him for over three years. He is extremely intelligent and passionate about his work. Throughout the entire process, Mr. Broden was a workhorse. Both he and Mr. Mickelsen traveled over 3500 miles to see us through a month long trial. Both men are highly capable, caring individuals who work well with each other and are dedicated to their clients. Mr. Mickelsen was knowledgeable, compassionate and professional from beginning to end. He was always readily available and patient with all our questions and concerns throughout the entire process. He has tremendous experience and knowledge of the law and does a tremendous job of explaining complicated legal matters so that they are easy to comprehend. He is focused and his legal acumen regarding federal law as applied to international cases was excellent.

Being accused of a crime that I didn t chit was one of the worst things to ever happen to me . Once accused of something you literally have to prove yourself innocent . Without a good layer like Mr Mickelsen I would probably be on some type of probation. Mr Mickelsen got my charges dismissed. I feel so vindicated. I can t describe how happy I am with the outcome. Thank you so very much !!!

Mr. Michelsen is either really on or really off. His ADD prevents him at times to stay on subject or task. He is lost as a goose in the trial court room and has little to nothing to offer in terms of appelate abilities. He is not consistent with what he says and will deny things that he has said earlier that do not coincide what he currently says. He just cannot be trusted to have the clients best interest at heart. He will lead you down a path to jail time if he represents you in trial. He will have little to nothing to offer as an appelate attorney. We trusted him to have my best interest at heart and he used it to get me shipped off to jail and out of his hair by deceiving me!

I am a forensic psychologist, and I ve worked with lots of lawyers-lots of em. I have worked on a number of cases with Mr. Mickelson and have come to know him and his work very well. First, he is one of the brightest, most thoughtful, creative, and incisive thinkers I know. He is a quick study who readily absorbs scientifically technical information, quickly grasps its implications, and how it could be helpful to his client. Second, I am not a lawyer, but I see lots of lawyers in the courtroom. As far as I m concerned, Mr. Mickelson should teach trial tactics. He has ability to precisely focus on the most relevant issues and get them into evidence. Furthermore, he is very good at making the trial about the facts, his client, and not him. Few do this as well as he does. Working with him is a pleasure not just because he appreciates my work, but because it is intensely gratifying to have the opportunity to work with such a good lawyer. I will work for him anytime he asks me, and if I or someone I knew needed a criminal lawyer, he would be at the top of my list.

My wife was charged with two counts of a felony deadly weapon charge. We were scared and did not know where to turn. This came to us on a Sunday evening so we began to look up attorneys, she found John Helms and emailed him. He emailed and called us back that evening we did not have to wait until Monday to talk to him which took a load off of our minds. Preparing for trial he is awesome and very through in every aspect of his defense. He personally made several trips to our house to go over the details of what she had been charged with and to photograph the area it happened in. When she went to court John had all the evidence right at his hand that he personally collected. He had graphs, photographs, witnesses subpoena the whole 9 yards, he left no stone unturned. I am ecstatic to say when my wife got to court, all of Johns outstanding work was apparent to the jury and the judge and even the DA. I would highly recommend John Helms if you should ever come up on the need to have an attorney. This man is highly intelligent in do respect to the law and he works hard for your defense.
