Amazing atmosphere, drinks were phenomenal and the service 5 stars! The only thing missing is food, as this is strictly a cocktail bar and no food is served. After youre done enjoying these drinks you will have to go next door to a high end sushi bar or make sure you eat before you enjoy this sexy ambiance.

Step into Ginger s for an elevated experience. The generously illuminated wooded staircase transports you to their contemporary lounge with a simplistic, and cozy design. This quaint space, manages to accommodate various seating options for their diverse clientele, from the wonderfully stocked bar with friendly bartenders mixing signature cocktails to both booth and lounge seating attended by attentive staff and management. Depending on the day and time you choose to enjoy Ginger s your experience can range from a super chill happy hour or weekday experience to a full blown party vibe on the weekends. Although I believe grownups should know how to dress when they go to nice places, Ginger s is more relaxed (up to a point) with their dress code; yes they re connected to Sushi Bar, however that s a separate dining experience (I ll share my review of that independently) if you re a person who would rather not splurge on cocktails, this may not be the place for you, because their prices are a few dollars more than similar options in the area, however the ambiance makes the extra expense worth it, and they do offer some less expensive beverage options. Parking is easy thanks to valet and a public lot only steps away. Sharing is Caring! So I ll share; if you re looking to have a quiet evening definitely enjoy Ginger s during the week because the weekends gets a little to loud for that! If you see me there, say hello! XOXO LORENZO

As soon as we walked in we were impressed. They had a few tables which were reserved so Im assuming if you do not get there early you may not have anywhere to sit. Im not sure. But for us, a nice date night which will have you engaged in conversation and vibe to the music. The staff was nice. We had the pleasure of having Tira (hopefully I spelled it correctly) who was very knowledgeable about the drinks on the menu. Its a mature crowd for sure.

The venue is very nice for a couples date night. The bar service was very slow. We waited at least 20 minutes for drinks. We had to wave down the waitress just to get service but ended up going to the bar to get our own drinks. On our way out of the bar one of the waitresses who did not service our table ran up the stairs to see if we paid our tab. I guess because the men in my group did not dress in button down shirts and slacks we don t pay bills. I told her we paid the tab she ran back down the stairs without apologizing. The correct way to handle that was to ask your team did we pay the tab instead of running us down like you are the head of security. Customer Service failed. The drinks are too expensive to have horrible customer service.

This was such a fun and calm experience. The drinks were definitely different from what I m use to having. These were cocktails with an experience so if you are open to really really trying new drinks I do suggest this for you. I tried three drink and they were uniquely delicious. The bartender was knowledgeable and fun to watch. I went alone but this is definitely a location for working class people. The entrance will make you feel like you re walking into a secret hideout.

This place is super cute and intimate. My friend and I went here after dinner on a Friday night. She had been before and thought it would be easy to grab a seat at the bar, but Gingers was packed. Lol We still ordered drinks and just stood and talked. Bartenders were very courteous and made great drinks. We both had the Sweet Desert Moon and it was very yummy. It has a hint of Mezcal flavor but its quite as smoky. Sotol is a great mid ground for someone like me who doesnt like mezcal. We sipped and chatted and eventually were able to swipe 2 seats. It was a nice close to the evening and Ill definitely go again. Please be mindful that there is no food served here!

I went to this place last night for the first time. And my experience here was completely chaotic. The first person I met was a bartender who seemed like he knew what he was doing until I overheard a comment he made about me to another girl bartender. Also, the way the managers were speaking to the staff was . Kind of condescending and hateful. They all seemed to hate their jobs, and I don t blame them. Rude staff. Zero stars

We went on a Sunday night so it wasnt completely packed. This place recently opened and is likely to get popular fast! Its a very low-key, speakeasy style cocktail bar. We enjoyed the old-fashioned and Desert Moon cocktails. They offer house cocktails, signature cocktails, as well as an extensive spirits list. They even have mock tails for those that dont prefer alcohol. Highly recommend stopping by soon, as this place will get popular quick.

Intimate, speakeasy vibes perfect for a before or dinner after cocktail especially if venturing to the incredible Brass Ram. Definitely be warned of lack of seating, it is small and you may find yourself standing. Beautiful stairwell perfect for photos on your way down.

I visited here at the end of December and I loved it. It s small, but cute. I was hoping it would be a great place to meet people. I have to go again and test it out. I went with two other friends and we were lucky enough to get seats at the bar, but it s the kind of place that feels weird to just stand. So may have to take a solo visit. The drinks were good and I m a sucker for details. The bar tenders were quick and attentive and that always help to make it a great visit.

Jeremiah and Jerome are quite the duo! So fun to sit at the bar and watch and talk with them as they crank out the cocktails. We stumbled upon this spot as we were leaving National Anthem and are happy we did. Looking forward to bringing more out of town guests.

Atmosphere 8/10 Nice atmosphere - I d call it a fancy basement lounge. Typical Dallas bar setting where people stand in crowds around the bar. Makes it more lively but less private. Drinks 7.5/10 Relatively small cocktail menu. Decent signature cocktails. Unique cool looking coasters. Classic glassware. Service 7/10 Staff was very friendly. However, the concept of people crowding the bar makes it difficult to get drinks for those who don t sit. I would have preferred a waitlist over standing in second row. Prices are moderate for Dallas. Positive: no automatic gratuity

Stopped into Gingers after dinner at the Brass Ram (its in the basement of the same building, exterior entrance on the opposite side of the building). Very cool environment and vibe. We didnt have a reservation, but were able to get a spot at the bar. Definitely recommend this location for drinks. Despite our drop-in experience, Id recommend reservations as seating / space is limited -- which adds to the environment / vibe vs. taking away from it.
