This time, I went for the Wedding Showcase which was beautifully curated. If youre getting married and need help with finding vendors, please check their website periodically to find out when they are hosting the next showcase. My friend was able to find her videographer and got gift ideas for the guests and the groom.

$22 admission? You get loads of gov $ and you repay the public with high charges. Not even the once a month free day most civilized venues have? If youre gonna be a champagne country club, stop mooching off the gov.

I really enjoyed the variety of flowers! They have plaques for almost all the different plants names, which was super helpful! I would give it 5 stars for the main arboretum, but I am doing 4 because it was suggested to go explore childrens garden even as an adult. It was cool, but I felt it was a bit overhyped for an adult, so if youre looking more for just plants, Id stick to the main arboretum and skip the childrens garden.

We went for my sons field trip and it was really nice. I enjoyed the peaceful scenery and the many shaded areas. The tour guides were very patient with the kids and did a phenomenal job. I love that they had a parking garage now as well. Its huge, so where good walking shoes and be prepared to walk a lot.

One of the most beautiful gardens in the US! So many varieties of plants and flowers. The colors were so spectacular thanks to all the rain. And they keep the grounds immaculate! Located in Dallas right near White Rock Lake. Pride weekend made the visit that much more special! Thanks to all the sponsors for making it a memorable occasion.

The kids are separate from the crowds, so it was very safe. The entrance had a splash pad in the entrance with a few staff members to direct visitors. Parking is an additional fee.

A very beautiful place full of nature, it is located next to White Rock Lake, where you can go to enjoy the flora and fauna that are presented to us, it is a long walk to visit all the available areas of the park, some are places very beautiful artistic places to take photos, in fact you can do photo sessions for fifteen years, marriage proposals in various areas. You can also hire a special cart to go around the Arboretum and botanical garden, all the plant species are planted and cared for so that the visitor has a broader panorama of the species they can find, some of these flowers have their own name and specifications. All spaces have very beautiful water sources, or ponds, which are never missing are trees that help you counteract the heat and benches to rest. They also have events inside the Arboretum, private concerts or simply going to have breakfast at the cafeteria. They have a gift shop at the exit where they have beautiful things related to nature, souvenirs created with the same flowers from the place. The parking lot is spacious and is also surrounded by trees and nature. The facilities connect with the lake and you can see in the distance the houses that are located in the surroundings, if you take the W.LawtherDr you will see some incredible mansions on the shore of the lake, a boat stop and a track to run and do exercise.

Was there on April 7 and it was logisitcal nightmare. We waited an hour in a queue for the parking because the online parking tickets were oversold; and then when a lot of cars left the lot there no one opened the entry gate for another half hour. The park itself is very pretty with nice different kinds of plants and nice place to chill. It is a bit over hyped as a tourist attraction though

Its pretty and I assume good for kids and families, but theres very little, if any, science or education going on. The vast majority of plants are ornamental, and the only variety is color, not species. There are essentially no informational signs, just common names and scientific names. (Where is this plant from? How long does it live? How big does it get? No idea!) Even the test gardens have no explanations. Most trees arent labeled. There are few if any gardens specific to areas of the world (even Texas! Just one very small native plant area that was closed for extra parking the day we visited.) No greenhouse for more humid plants.

A very large and beautiful place. Even being an individual who prefers to see plants in their natural environments, not in structured gardens molded by human hands, I can understand why so many people love this place. For those living in the Dallas area, it is a veritable oasis within the concrete jungle. We had something of a private guide, a friend of our son, who led us around the facility, but there seem to be no shortage of personnel to answer questions and assist those who had need. My only criticism is that the facility really needs additional restrooms. There were long lines waiting (10+ minutes) for the toilets in the building nearest the entrance both at the start and at the end of our visit.
