Great great great bar-b-que. Love the sandwich, the southwest salad its all good. The free rolls are the best. I recommend going on Sunday because of the free ice cream but go before 3 thats when it stops. But everything has been so good. Its our go to place if a mom and pop shop is not open.

I ordered 2 dinners to go on Labor Day. It was chopped brisket, corn and potato salad. That brisket was awful dried out and tough. That was the worst dinner I had ever had from Spring Creek. The location on Wheatland.

The food at Spring Creek on Wheatland was delicious. Loved the fresh, warm bread. The lady serving the bread at the tables was very kind. The only negative comment I have is about the restroom. The toilet was so so dirty and so was the sink and mirror had spots all over it. But the toilet was very disgusting. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Will not be returning to this location. I appreciate a business who keeps restrooms clean for customers. This restaurant unfortunately is not one to do so.

INEDIBLE! Ordered a pound of brisket delivered by Uber. The meat was inedible at least 80% fat with a crusty edge that was so burnt it was spiked. I ve had their BBQ before and it has its ups & downs but this was the worst ever! Will not be ordering again anytime soon, hopefully they ll get a new shift manager by the next time we order.

We paid 33.00 for 2 and 1/2 gristle pieces of beef ribs and some smoked turkey ends. No sides. I needed somebody to call and make this right photo and the photos were taken before we ate or try to eat it. No we could not take it back please fix this. Now my husband and I bring this mess home to eat and it is not edible the dry grizzled beef is so hot from the overabundance of cracked black pepper to where it couldnt be eaten. I am hungry Ive waited to eat and Ive waited in vain. I want this fixed I want reparations for this mess thats call barbecue. With no smoked flavor this is Texas all this wood pecan wood hickory wood mesquite wood and no flavor no smoke . I am out of 30 something dollars for what a few pieces of Turkey and it wasnt smoked either. The only thing that was good worth mentioning that Im not complaining about is the cotton-picking bread. I need someone to get with me please thank you. Oh yeah and I gave one star because the bread was the only edible thing. It was about 5:30 5:40 when we purchase this mess so maybe it was what they serve when it gets past a certain time because most people would notice. I dont know but I feel Hoodwinked Bamboozled led astray and gone amuck... just downright disrespected. I dont know if its just me, but no one has come to me has called has emailed me has done nothing but what theyre doing and is ignoring me. Whats the prices you guys charge Im pretty sure that the little 33 dollars that we spent wont make you rich but you dont know what we have to go through to get that 33.00. You should honor the people that are keeping you in business.

I was so disappointed. The server asked me what part of the brisket I wanted, I said lean, Im trying to avoid fatty meat. He said, Well, this is what you need, and sliced me up the fattest part and covered it with barbecue sauce. I wish I had not taken his word and checked out what he gave me. Everything and everyone else was good, but even though I tried to eat the meat, it was fat throughout every slice. I lost my appetite and If I didnt have to go back to work, I would have said something. It truly was a waste of $22.

Every time I go now, my ribs are dry! And that was the main reason I was going. And the only side I considered that even looked safe was the potato salad. Everything else looked old. And the entire station was dirty. I was dining in, and got to go boxes for the remainder of my food. Saw fresh rolls coming out so I stopped at the bread station to get a couple rolls, and got questioned by the bread person! She said is that a to-go order? You should have bread in there! I said it s not a to-go order, but is there a one roll limit?! Before she could answer, I said never mind. It s not that serious. What a horrible experience! I don t see them being in business much longer if they keep that up!

Hadnt been in a long time because locations are not consistent with others and got tired of playing the guess who game when I bought food....got a couple baked potatoes fully loaded and they were AWESOME!!!! TL;DR: Came here not expecting to de-throne our reigning best Dallas BBQ King, but left witnessing a ruler atop the throne! Impressive was the first word to come to mind when we walked through the doors of this establishment. First off we noticed the plethora of high-chairs ready to assist families in their feeding expedition. The next thing we noticed was the smell of delicious BBQ. We quickly found our way in line and with plenty of menu options to pick from we each selected our course. I ordered a 2-meat plate with brisket and smoked turkey as the primary alongside potato salad and mac & cheese for the sides. The brisket was practically falling apart in the butchers hands, I was doubtful that he even needed a knife to cut it. No one in our party had a problem finishing all of their food as each bite left the consumer wanting more. Portion size did seem to favor the restaurant more than what we would have liked, but everyone left feeling full. A quirky highlight of the establishment is their waiter that makes rounds to all the tables advertising fresh hot rolls, which we could watch being made throughout our experience. Overall we werent planning on de-throning our previous favorite Dallas BBQ spot, but the food experience we had here left us with no other choice!

Wow, this is the first BBQ spot I ve visited in Texas and I m from Louisiana, the meat was so tender, the potato salad was my favorite side, I could taste a great amount of sugar in it, but really good. The baked potatoes were a big hit here, I think every customer had one, and yes it was good even without toppings. Now .. the worst part which should ve been the best part was the BBQ SAUCE, it was so distasteful omg I never want it again. The strong flavor of chilli seasoning was unnecessary and not needed. Please do it over or my advice toss it. The bbq beans were completely ruined by this, I couldn t eat them. Then I realized it was because the bbq sauce wasn t good, when I put a little on my rib. A big no no. Why on earth do you have chilli seasoning in bbq sauce? This is why it has 4 stars. Overall I will visit again the good outweighs the bad.

We (My King, My daughter a nd me of course) decided to dine in and give it a try. The atmosphere was very family like. Our waiter was a young man named Cornelius and he was originally from New Orleans La and it definitely showed in his hospitality. I watched Cornelius go from table to table making sure everything was satisfying to each family that came in. He sat us at a table and I requested another table because I like to pig out with my BBQ and I needed stomach room. My drink spilled and Cornelius is definitely a gentleman he didnt embarrass me he sat my family down at another table as I requested cleaned up my spill and went got me another glass of the refreshing lemonade. He checked on my family and made sure we were straight the entire time. What Cornelius didnt know was were also from New Orleans and my grandson second birthday was nearby and his deceased father first job was at a BBQ place. I asked Cornelius for a photo. He was such a distinguished gentleman I appreciate humility in restaurants and people. Cornelius has both. Hes definitely a keeper and a great representation for the front house very well mannered. If you go ask for Cornelius and witness his humility for yourself.

My family and I have been customers of this Spring Creek bbq for years and frequently have lunch and dinner here. Tonight, in particular, was THE BEST experience by far. We were celebrating a birthday and the management staff was extremely kind in accommodating our party of 13 for dinner service as soon as we arrived (I had called earlier in the day to advise we would be dining there). They also were kind enough to place our cake in the fridge until we were ready for dessert. The staff in the serving line were so sweet in giving our special birthday guest their well wishes and catering to him <3. The manager, Jesse, was very thoughtful by checking on us, and literally going above and beyond to make sure we had everything that we needed. He did not have to do it but he genuinely cared to take care of us. All of the staff was extremely kind and even helped us sing happy birthday! The food was fresh and delicious. Everything about tonight s experience was perfect! THANK YOU TO THE STAFF for making our experience THE BEST and for making our honored guest feel extra special.

The restaurant closes at 9 oclock. Wife and I got there at 8:15 or 8:20. All the meat had already been put up. They had to go break out some brisket that had already been put up. When they put it on the plate it looked like unappetizing leftover scraps. While sitting and eating we were on the other side of the partition from the line. The entire time we ate we could hear the employees laughing and cursing. We also repeatedly heard one of the employees asking if we were gone yet and it was still before closing time. We left right at 9 oclock so no one had to wait on us. The girl doing the rolls was really nice. Weve eaten there many times before and it has never been this bad. If youre going to be open till 9 then be open till 9! REALLY BAD EXPERIENCE!!

I do not even know where to begin. My husband and I went to eat BBQ. We have always gone to the Spring Creek in Mansfield. Not authentic but does ok in a pinch. This place-yeah, NOT IT! To start, they sliced 2 itty bitty pieces of turkey for one meat, 2 tiny pieces of brisket and 4 slices of sausage. My husband got ham and the same other meat. It left room to be desired. Spring Creek Barbeque hasnt shown any improvement since I first started coming in the 80s. The same layout with no cosmetic improvement, my daughter was a hot bread server, and the station is still there. The quality of the meats or taste is not worth getting excited about. It lacks the smoker flavor or tender meat falling off the bone thats being perfected in the up and coming barbecue restaurants. By far, the sauce is one of the best. Unfortunately, I cant just throw stars around. What I can say is that it is better in taste than Pappas barbecue. Bigger portions, friendly environment. More for you money. You must get there early for beef ribs on Sunday.

Went last night to Spring Creek and I had such a great experience. From the moment I walked into the line to place my order the Meat Cutters were very friendly and happy to be there. We went to sit at our table and Barron the Busser was the only one on the floor clearing tables and waiting on the customers. He made this experience even more special. This rarely happens when I eat there. Overall the food was great and the service was exceptional.

Barron was so sweet and attentive with our family tonight and made sure we were doing okay during our visit. We will continue to visit regularly. First time trying this establishment. The food was different but not bad. Everyone was friendly, however, Labarron really stood out in a positive way. He was very attentive and had a really genuine spirit. My son enjoyed chatting with him.

Spring Creek has really stepped up their game!! Vegetarian options: Theyre vegetables and sides were to die for! Parking: Plenty of parking even though theres a little Highway construction going on it did not seem to affect parking situation for access to the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: They have perfectly portioned kids plates where my 8 year old son got full and satisfied!

Come here quite often but tonight will make me not ever come back again. We came in at around 750ish didn t get greeted for about 15 minutes while only one girl run back and forth and the entire crew plus manager was all outside chilling. What bothered me most they all came in and nobody washed their hands regardless if you re using gloves it s still unsanitary not to wash your hands. Asked for a manager he walked up sweating so hard I didn t even want to talk to him. Spring Creek nip this in the bud before you begin to lose your regular customers!

Great ribs and rolls! But when did they start bothering you on what you need??? It was annoying having someone stand over us for 3 minutes telling us their name, they would get whatever we needed etc....especially since they never did it before???? Whats up with that!!!!

Im a long-haul trucker, and whenever Im in TX, I have to go somewhere & get some BBQ! Whenever Im near one, I prefer to eat at Hard 8 Bbq. I was laid over in Dallas & wasnt near a Hard 8. This was the closest bbq place with good reviews. The food was very good. IMO not as good as Hard 8 (we all have our opinions), but at the same time, I have no complaints about them. I had the combo plate with ribs & brisket & it was delicious. Next time Im in TX & near Spring Creek Bbq, Ill be back.
