Found out the guys from our favorite Oak Cliff Bar Tiny Victories opened Saint Valentine and we were thrilled. same great drinks as there and they have food. We will be coming here regularly especially if they ever replicate any of Tiny Victories HH specials.

A top tier Dallas spot for excellent cocktails and stellar food. We visited on a Saturday evening and the ambiance is loud without being obnoxious, dark, friendly, but also intimate if that s what you re looking for. We sat at the bar and I cannot speak highly enough of the excellent service we had. Water never empty, cocktails always attended to, without being redundant. We had the sausage stuffed olives, hashbrowns and caviar to start. Get both. The olives were perfect, the hashbrowns had such a nice brine bite from the caviar, just delicious. I got the chicken skin and pâté bahn boy with the side of pho dipping (GET THIS) and it was a top 3 bite of food across the many states I ve traveled to. We also got the bacon wrapped hot dog which was also incredible. The cocktails were also amazing. The Margarita is the best I ve ever had and the pink Negroni?? 1000/10. Can t say enough positive things about this spot and can t wait to be back.

Hosted a Happy Hour here and service, food and cocktails were all top notch. Plenty of vegetarian options too. I love the Miso Garlic Soup, Shishito Peppers and Brussel Sprouts! Lots of great cocktails and good happy hour prices. Chill atmosphere and not a crowded feeling as bar has plenty of space from tables. Bonus...parking lot in the back! Highly recommend.

This place is SUPER cute. I know it just opened but it gives me the vibe Beauty bar would have given if she grew up. IYKYK, sadly my 22y.o server Harley didn t know what a Gem beauty bar was nor did she catch my boyfriends drink order.. Food was OK. I got the wings which were top tier for a bar and the fried olives which i wish came with a better sauce tbh. Overall I plan to make this my regular hangout spot so hopefully they will have more experienced servers soon.

Sat at the bar & everyone was super friendly and very helpful in their reccomendations! La Niña was definitely my favorite its also an award winning drink I also had the Diablo which I believe is the one pictured another great reccomendation from the staff! You can really tell that Paul cares about his staff along with his craft so shout out to Ivan & Paul for helping us feel welcomed during our visit well be seeing you guys again!

My partner and I were suggested this place from a server in lower greenvile. The facility is very dim, you wouldnt of thought the place was open at night. This inside is very dim too. We thought it was a unique hip atmosphere. We order the fish special. We were surprised when we received a $20 small can of fish with some very spicy Wasabi. The service was great and the server was fast and attentive. I gave it a 2 for the food, and the odd dim lights.

Food so good I thought I died At one point I slapped the table because it was too much. Seriously the food was so good I slapped the table. From the minute you walk through the doors the space pulls you in like a warm hug from your grandmother at Christmas. The staff are amazing. We were greeted immediately. I had a cold glass of ice water within a minute of sitting down. Gold booths, black tile, chandeliers . Saint Valentine is slick but not up tight. There is a disco diner vibe happening. I would have felt at home dressed in my best dress but also felt comfortable in jeans and converse. The drinks. I started with a Cosmo Kramer It was tart and sweet. Like a pink lemmonade with a kick. Next I had . A margarita but it was more. It had this ginger salt foam on top and it sounds funky. But drinking it was like eatung yummy salty candy and then the margarita flavor hits. Best marg ever. I know it won an award, the trophy is on display. If I could order a to go cup of the foam I would. The food I started with the olives. They were something I was super excited about. Stuffed with sausage from Jimmy s then fried. Crispy, salty, with a bit of earthiness from the herbs in the sausage. The olives did not disappoint. Next I had to try the hashbrown and caviar. It seemed funny to me, something I would eat at double wide if they served food. It was very good. The hasbrown was crispy and the caviar was not fishy. It provided the salt and complimented the hashbrown. We also ordered the Furikake Fries These were my favorite. Every fry was coated or topped with a lil bit of goodness. Spicy Kewpie mayo. Ginger and pickled red onion. I hate onions but kept eating these onions because they tasted so good. All together in that perfect bite. These fries will spoil you and you will never be satisfied with plain french fries ever again. The last thing we tried was black garlic burger. But we had it made into a chopped cheese . This is where I slapped the table. Imagine a really flavorful burger patty. Now chop it uo with cheese so the cheese melts and mixes with the burger. Take your standard burger fixins and toss it all on a toasted hoagie roll. That my friends is heaven on a plate. In summary we had a fantastic evening at Saint Valentine. The drinks, the food, the service. All amazing Excited to see this place grow. They are off to a great start.

Great experience thanks to our bartender Chance. He was super helpful and super observant of our drinks and food. Lots of fun drink options. One I would recommend is the Pineapple get down. Great vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. Will be coming back again for sure.

I love the ceilings. And the bathrooms the most. The ceiling lights and the chandeliers are the best. The food is mediocre. I love how there are no chairs except out front and the music is very chill. Love the atmosphere. They need to update the wine list and also carry thick steak fries if they want to survive though. That s a rough neighborhood. Most definitely the HOOd. Not Waco but worse. Guess which town your in?? I thinks it s off Bryan street near Baylor. Lol jk

Unmatched atmosphere, service, & quality!! The drinks are thoughtfully crafted & the food is incredibly made. You can t make a wrong menu choice- I ve had so many dishes and drinks & loved every one. All of the staff makes you feel like you belong. I love their round corner booths for a group night out (seats about 6-8) or even sitting on the patio when the weather s nice. Saint Valentine has a fun, casual, neighborhood bar vibe. Paul was super friendly and welcoming. My favorite drinks are the Space Vato and the Big Booty Trudy. The food is the star of the show for me. The furikake fries are genuinely unreal. So so flavorful and good. The wings in the sweet and spicy sauce are also very tasty as well as the black garlic burger and the hashbrowns with caviar.

I m not that big of a drinker, but their mocktails were amazing. I don t remember what it s called but I tried some pineapple drink and it was spicy and delicious. I followed it up with some garlic noodles and after the first bite I demanded that the chef give me extra chili oil, because it made the miso that more satisfying. This bar manages to have both a cozy, relaxed vibe, while still feeling polished and special. The staff are all really kind and friendly and the food and drinks are absolutely delicious! Try the Brussels Sprouts, the Furikake Fries, or the Charred Caesar. The Cosmo Kramer is 10/10 - but also ask the bartenders to make you a mocktail and youll be pleasantly surprised by what they create for you! I love how the kitchen sources some of their ingredients from other businesses in the neighborhood, like Jimmys around the corner. So glad to know about this little gem of a bar!

What a great place. Its hard to call this a bar even though its an exceptional bar but its more like a lounge with a very open feel some great food and an upbeat and friendly staff. Of course Gabe Sanchez has been the best bartender and bar owner and Dallas for quite a while now so I expected a well put together establishment with a great experience and thats exactly what I got. I highly recommend the hamburger and they also have some great fried olives stuffed with sausage from Jimmys

I LOVE this place! Everyone who works here is sO friendly. I feel comfortable here, and the service is great. The bartenders are phenomenal. But my favorite is exploring around the menu. Every dish is prepared with care and flair! I ve had several dishes now and they are so delicious. I happen to love pâté, and I think their s is such a great nosh with a cocktail! The grilled Caesar salad is so unique and satisfying! Such a fresh smooth flavor and crunch! The banh mi was perfectly constructed and each bite was a little burst of flavors. Yeah. I like it here. Thought this place was really cool. Grabbed some drinks and food prior to heading over to It ll Do. Ordered food. Was AMAZED at how fast it came. I had the garlic noodles. Sick. As. A. Dog. The next day, massive stomach issues. Nope didn t drink at the club. My thoughts? They cooked the noodles early and left them sitting out which allowed them to serve so quickly. But, leaving cooked noodles out for a while breeds bacteria. And that s what I got. I would come back for the drinks, not the food.

What they did right here = the vibes. Colorful / old fashioned diner aesthetic. Also the staff were attentive and friendly and service was fast (but y all can just leave the water pitcher on the table for people, it s fine). Could ve just been opening week and they were working some stuff out when I went but I feel the reviews are misleading and I m not one to be picky. Food and drinks were extremely mid at best (my burger was raw in the middle, my bf s miso noodles were just overly salted buttered noodles, friend got hash browns and caviar and it was essentially like the frozen hash browns you get for home). Drinks were middle of the road but for $14 in an area I wouldn t call a hot spot, I ll just go anywhere on Lower Greenville 5 min away and get a margarita I know will be good. Basically if they were 2/3 of the cost that they are, this place is cute and worth it, but I think it s been massively overhyped and I wouldn t go back to eat dinner.

Went and checked this spot out opening week. I wont lie, I was surprised to see it have a 4.9 rating. I went with a group of 4 others and we all had a sub-par experience when it came to the food and drinks. Like another reviewer mentioned, the drinks were hit or miss. Some were tasty, others were over-powered by something spicy. I got the miso noodles, and well, it was basically just spaghetti noodles with bland miso sauce (and it was $10 for a pretty small portion). My girlfriend got the burger, and it was wayyyy undercooked. My friend got he hashbrowns and caviar, which were just okay; youre really just overpaying for a dollop of caviar. I will say that the atmosphere of this bar is really cool and cozy and our service was super attentive and fast. But overall, given the prices (cocktails are basically the same price youd get anywhere else in Dallas), the food being just alright, and the location, I cant really give this place any higher than a 3/5. Hoping that my experience wasnt just opening week pains, but it was enough to make me weary of going back anytime soon.

Great cocktails, great small bites, great service. If you like interesting, well made cocktails, this will be your place. The cocktails are expertly crafted and the food is really good. Just be careful, the place has a very dark signage out front so its kind of hard to tell if youre at the right place or not. And the windows are so dark it doesnt look like its open even though it is.

Saint Valentine is a great date destination. An excellent bar scene with incredible food to go alongside it, and the prices were not exorbitant. I would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area, but go out of your way to get here even if youre not. Very closely located to the Dallas Theater, this place is an amazing stop if youre heading that way. Would highly recommend the philly cheese steak and vegetable sandwich.

Been wanting to check this place out after reading about it. The food was ok, but not really anything special. Had the veggie Sando and it really wasnt that great. The drink I ordered was good, but it was way too spicy to really enjoy. They also turned the lights down while we were eating which made it hard to see our food. Will have to go back some other time to try some other stuff. I really like the location and want them to be a successful business in that area.

For the cocktail lover you must attend this spot. If you are mourning the death of black swan this is your chance to get some of those same vibes again. Cocktails as always are on point, balanced. I did not try a lot of the food but the food I did was great. The caviar and hash browns marry so well together I just had no idea. Happy to find this out. Ive been missing the vibes. I have always sent people to (Black Swan) and now we have Saint Valentines for thepeopleof East Dallas!!!!!! Wonderful music and definitely going to be a mainstay while im stillin town. I am so proud to be an OG. We always have BLACK SWAN in our heart but now we have new merch!! Staff is phenomenal as well.
