I visited this bar for the first time a couple of months ago when I had three Jamiesons shots and a couple of XX beers. I went back for the second visit tonight and my experience as I entered this bar was abominable: before I ordered anything the bar tender (looking drunk and probably high on cocaine) stared at me in a nasty way and asked me in a extremely unkind way (scolding me?!!!) DO YOU HAVE AN ID?!!!!........?!!!! How about a nice greeting first ?!!!: Hi! How are you? Welcome to Kings X Bar!!! MAY I SEE YOUR ID SIR? So, I decided to leave right away and not spend a dime in this place and then had to tip AGAIN such a disrespectful and unprofessional bar tender!!!! IN FORMER REVIEWS MR DE LA ROSA CALLED HER A RACIST WOMAN: I FELT THE VERY SAME WAY!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BAR TO ANYONE!!!!

Absolutely love the atmosphere here the bartenders were quick to accommodate me and my wife with ice cold beverages and a decent priced shot . Calm , laid-back very socialable customers. I highly recommend Kings X if you want a calm place to have a beer and a laugh

So I came in this bar totally random,wow!! The people were AMAZING so cool and welcoming. It has the atmosphere of a dive bar but the fellowship of a Christian tent revival. Between the shuffleboard,darts and the personable bartender I felt as if I was born here. 10/10 recommended.

Definitely a dive bar and thats what we were looking for! Pool tables are only $1. Clean restrooms. Lots of regulars but there was still room to sit at the bar. Bottle beer. And regular decent prices. The only thing I could complain about was, it was very dark in the bar. Overall its a great dive bar.

This is an old school Dallas drinking club, which offers memberships on arrival. Its a bit of a dive, but they serve Weller bourbon and ice cold Shiner Bock in beer coozies. The bartenders, Becky and Lynn were as sweet as can be, and the typical Texas crowd didnt seem to mind at all a bunch of stoned Kentucky yankees dropping in to watch the UK game.
