Seriously some of the best food on Greenville Ave! The jimmy s sausage bolognese at dinner and the Cobb salad at lunch - amazing. My husband had the chicken nuggets and fries and the spicy honey Dijon sauce was damn good. We always sit at the bar and the bartenders are the best here.

I stopped by Alamo Club while visiting town and after hearing a lot about lower Greenville. The music and the cute front patio were so inviting. They also have a massive covered back patio. Emily, my server has the best recommendations and gave top notch service. The pot roast pasta was so incredible. My experience was so good I came back the next morning for brunch drinks. Melina, the bartender made me the best tequila espresso martini and took the absolute best care of me. Highly recommend coming in and having great drinks and delicious food. Will be back soon for sure.

The pretzel bites were delicious, but the rest of our food was pretty awful. I got the pot roast pasta and the noodles tasted like pure salt. The meat was decent. Husband had a pesto sandwich that didn t seem to have any actual pesto on it. Service was okay. Kind of slow. Would have been better off going to the food truck yard across the street.

Pretty location and building......never get chicken fried steak at a Mexican restaurant. Theyre bought in bulk, battered and frozen in plastic bags from Cisco. Best tortillas ever, even the wheat ones. Dont leave without trying a sopapilla with honey and cinnamon...I could eat my weight in those sopapillas

Wifey and I came for brunch on a hot Saturday morning. The patio has misters everywhere and it was very comfortable. Spencer took amazing care of us and we also had a few minutes for amazing conversation. He s super polite and was very helpful with our questions about things in the area! We had a mimosa carafe and the bread pudding French toast. The venue, staff, and food are a 10/10.

Very average. Went based on the reviews and was disappointed. Had the chicken meatballs as an app and thought the meatballs were dry. Philly cheese steak I got for dinner was awful. We tried this place because I had coworkers in from out of state. The decor is warm and the vibe was pretty laid back. I had an Old Fashioned or two and they were well made. We had the fried green tomatoes and queso for an appetizer and both were delicious. Everyone tried something different so we could all sample. I wasn t sure how the food was going to be when we walked in since it s a bar type atmosphere. Let me tell you the food was outstanding. I had the braised beef short ribs and pasta and the flavor was off the charts. The chicken enchiladas were great as well as the chicken and dumplings. The cheesesteak sandwich was also very good. We will definitely be back to try other drinks and food.

Outdoor patio is cool, if it is open. I ve been here twice, our waitress the first time was very kind. However, the most recent time I had to leave because a woman working there was so incredibly rude that I could not give my money to a company that employed such a person. I recommend going before night time. Apparently if they have one small sign that their patio is closed, they will imply that you can t read when you look outside. I wish I didn t have such a poor experience this most recent time, it was great the first time.

My husband and I stopped in for a light bite and drinks on Sunday afternoon. We were pleasantly surprised by the great experience we had. We sat ourselves outside on the patio. Our server (I wish I remembered his name) was fantastic - he provided great recommendations and was super attentive. The queso was superb but the cocktails are what really blew us away. They were very reasonably priced and had something for everyone. Their house-made Apple vodka cocktail was so light and refreshing. We will definitely be back to try more drinks and food.

The food tastes good but, I will likely just go back for appetizers and drinks rather than a main course meal. We ve been coming here consistently since Alamo club opened and have typically loved it. We always take friends/family here when they come into town and regularly sit on the patio with our dog. Last night we brought some friends in and sat at the bar for 2 drinks. In that time it seemed like there was a shift change and a new bartender took over. When I went to order another round I was informed we had been cut off by the new bartender it took me by surprise to say the least. Especially considering we hadn t even said three words to the guy so not sure how he or his boss could know we were drunk enough to get cut off It was embarrassing and surprising to say the least. I ve never ever been cut off anywhere. I m not sure if they confused us for some other group or what but they wouldn t even give us an explanation. I hate that it happened and feel wrongly accused. I know the owner is a super nice guy and if he had been there that night I don t think it would ve happened. Can t say I won t be back but will certainly think twice about who I bring here. Mom

We are very difficult to impress (25 years chef owners bar/restaurant) but this little jewel is amazing. Fun vibe, great service, food quality is superb. Nice selection of fun cocktails. We had 7 people so wide selection of food. The burgers are amazing, the cowboy Cobb I will buy again, Texas chili with great flavor, and my daughter loved the chicken and dumplings. Awesome! We love Alamo Club. It is a true asset to the neighborhood. We love both the front and back outdoor areas. The food is consistent and good. We have ordered most of the menu and it is all really good quality and a reasonable price... Cocktails are done correctly here as well. They have a great happy hour as well. Very happy they made it through the covid exersize. They are teenager & dog friendly which is helpful (food they love). Queso is not to be missed.

We love this place! They have tvs to watch RANGERS games. The staff are all awesome! They have a Mark Maggiori print. I think the owner is a fellow Tennessean like myself. I frequent here most during happy hour and weekend afternoons - all of the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Their margarita, The Marg, might be the best Ive ever had! Can t say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing. Great cocktails and super friendly staff. Been multiple times and never had a bad experience. Patio is heated which is a plus. Will definitely be back

The caesar salad that incorporates sauteed kale is just exquisite. Trust me, its to come back for. The mahi mahi are fish so good they had to name it twice.

Food was good. However bartenders seem to only serve and talk to people they know and there were only 4 people at the bar. I sat there with beer empty for 10 minutes while they were talking with customers they knew. I wanted to order dessert but nobody asked me how my meal was or whether I wanted anything else. Had to ask for my check with 2 people sitting at bar.

I love this place an am very glad they reopened. The back patio is a nice way to enjoy the restaurant during covid. The staff was very safe and wore masks and gloves the whole time. The fried green tomatoes were perfect.

I need to take a moment to recognize this establishment for its outstanding experience. People can get food anywhere, but there are few places you get great food and an amazing memory consistently. I can bring people to this place and everytime I know we will receive top knotch service and have a great time. You actually feel like a guest at Alamo Club, and you can tell the staff has pride in their work. Also, their brunch is amazing!

The selling point for me was seeing both owners working alongside their teams to bus tables, greet guests, and even stop to pet the pups! You cant beat their authenticity and we need more small business leaders like them in DFW! They also have phenomenal food - we tried a Kale Salad and Crispy Tendies with jalapeno gravy - both pair well with a Patio Banger ;)

Just had a great experience here. My beer took longer than expected while my friend had already drank half his beer. The manager came out and apologized, then gave me the beer on the house. Just an unexpected act of customer service that made me smile. Great vibes!

The food was good, bar wasnt packed so we had the chance to have a great talk and get to know our bar tender. She was Hispanic Ive forgotten her name cause Ive drank to many of her delicious cocktail drinks tonight. But excellent service and she really knows what shes doing 5/5 stars for the whole experience would remmend going to if you want a bar tender who knows what their doing and not a club scene
